Great video we have burn off's in the top end every dry season, glad you were safe it would be a bit of a heart starter. Never a dull moment in our backyard ❤
Yep!! We definitely learnt this after our three months in the Top End. Literally fires all the time up there. Very crazy!
@@thecartwrights you should do a wet season up here crazy storms
Yeah!! It’s up there on our list too 🤙🏽
Hi guys , we have never camped on the beach you must get heaps of sand in your van with the kids running in and out. Beautiful spot Thanks
Yes we do! But we have mats on the way in that pick up most of it before it even makes it inside. And just vacuum every morning 👌🏽😎
Man, that’s what i call adventure 😊 Keep it going all 5,2 of you !
Thanks! Will do!
Never far from adventure guys. It seems to find you one way or another 😊
Seriously!! It fully does hey?! 🫣😅

So good guys. This is like watching a TV series, a good one. We get to see some awesome parts of Aus. Just love it
Haha. I’m glad you said, “a good one” at the end of it. 😆 thanks for that mate 🤙🏽
My back yard love it
Lets go to sleep and find out what adventures come our way tomorrow, well, I would be scared out of my mind waking up and travelling with you lot......LOL
Brilliant and Entertaining as always
Gosh, for sure i would have panicked a lot more! Next month i‘ll fly over from Germany to Australia and stay for a few months. Can‘t wait :-)
That was a great episode!! well done on the drone fire imagery it was brilliant and scary:D
Thanks a ton!
Great episode once again guys 👍🏼 Ignore the couch fire-fighters. Nobody can justify “doing it differently” when not there to assess all available info (risk, wind, escape paths etc.)
As for the ARB compressor 😡 rarely used yet we have burnt out two relays and just had it fixed again today in Kalgoorlie - bloody annoying !
Stay safe 🤙🏼
Haha. Yea cheers.
Ours had to get the boot! But we’re happy with the one we’ve replaced it with now 👌🏽
Thanks so much for the comment!
Thanks God you fine
Yep! We’re all well and good
Great content guys looking for to the next vid. Travel safe 👍🏽
Awesome! Thank you!
Good episode guy’s, got some gr8 footage of the fires & fireworks. Darwin makes it easy to get some nice sunset shots. Stay safe in Arnemland, probly see a lot of fires there too. Cheers
Thanks! Will do! And thanks for the kind comment
Thanks! Will do! And thanks for the kind comment
I like the way you size up tue situation before moving. You don't aways choose the best option, but you do seem to choose the options that have a fun /scare factors which allows children to understand the why you make the choicesy yoj do. As a single mother I too my18 month old son to live /work on a mission in north Queensland ror 3 years. He is 60 now and still remembers quite a lot. I also found a husband while I was there. It was edcuatioal and fun an we met wonderful people.
Kids in the back seat at the start is a crackup.
They sure are some entertainment 😆🤪
… Tense 😬 the ‘Phewww’ moment and tension again 😳 great video 👍🏽
Thankyou very much for your kind comment
Vid quality's is great. Another interesting edition.
Much appreciated!
Haven't watched till the end yet but the caption scared me I hope you guys are well..much love ❤❤🇿🇦🇿🇦
Thanks. Spoiler alert..we’re all good! 😆
Nice episode 😎👍
Always beautiful your videos👍👍👍👍👍
Thankyou very much mate 🤙🏽
வாழ்த்துக்கள்
🤙🏽
Just saw the you guys in Perth today towing the old kenards trailer. The build looks amazing and can’t wait to see any Perth videos if you’re making any.
Its a grass fire. Low danger if you simply fight fire with fire...
Another good vid. Nice work!
100% we saw no threat.
Thanks for that mate 🤙🏽
🙂👍
We lived through black Saturday fires in Victoria that fire is nothing it’s really just like a back burn
Good job on the fire, no need to have a panic about it as it wasn’t immediate danger, panicking is the worst thing to do then rushing off and it wasn’t like you were in the middle of the bush either!!
Hey mate. I’ve noticed your support in a few different comments recently. I just wanted to let you know we appreciate people like you a lot.
If we ever meet, I will be buying you a beer. Or several. Cheers mate,
Princess 😂
From just the title, nothing else --- What could possibly go wrong? =)
💯
I think I would of hitched up my van before I started playing with my drone
And been packed up ready, Stow to Go as we said in the armoured
If you’ve finished using it put it back where it belongs
🇮🇳 Love u all family 🇮🇳
🤙🏽
Best you toss the ARB pump in the bin I had one and the wire that came with it melted I use a Thomas slower but it goes every time
Yep. Already been given the toss! We’ve done a vid covering this actually 🤙🏽
Bit scary, but you got through it.
Haha. Yep 😅 all was good in the end.
"TRAPPED!! BETWEEN WILDFIRES and CROC INFESTED WATER in our ISUZU NPS 4x4 and 25 FOOT CARAVAN!!" LOL..Toughen up princess.
Crikey that was really sketchy.
Is it possible the fireworks might've started it?
Thanks for sharing glad you're ok
You’re pretty good at getting bogged! How long have you guys been driving around, I thought you would have been able to avoid getting bogged by now, but I s’pose it makes good video content!😅👍
I bet you don't get bogged commenting from your couch.they are out there doing it,you are in there watching it.
@@rangabanga32 😆😆
Yeah looks like u going thru a region with bush fire,s with all that gear and your family I would suggest staying away from the Wild Fire,s .Also if u carring petrol for Generator mount jerry cans on the back of the caravan.Reason is they easier to remove and keep them separate from U and family.Your Vehicle is Diesel with has a high flash point then Petrol
The firefighter in me was pack up and go the second it started.
worst thing to do up north, got a safe area stay there, normal stuff
@@freechagosislandjohnpilger if we can get out we get out especially given how long that took to get to them, more than enough time to get out. I am aware there is plenty we can’t see from the video, just know my training.
What. No one around you could pump the tyres back up?
Nah man. And we don’t have just regular tyres.
Last episode for me, as a FF I can't stand watching people putting their family in danger for views.
The sand will not save you. You were lucky this time, let's hope don't do it again.
I was thinking the same thing. Fires can jump ahead and are so unpredictable.
One way out. Blocked by fire. No fire fighters in sight. Please explain what you would have done differently. I’ll wait
You did good, ignore the keyboard experts and fire fighters! Makes you laugh how people critique a dynamic situation with a few minutes of footage. 😂
I like your vids. You’re totally crazy. I hear you say ‘dad’ this, what’s your names?
Haha. Thanks. We think we’re crazy too 🤪
Mum = Kyla
Dad = Jackson
Mate I’ve been in many fires when I was in the navy and there’s no way I would be running towards a fire?
Comment
Wildfires 🙄🤦
Who the hell calls it a wildfire here
We just did 👍🏽
@@thecartwrightsrhetorical question bro 😂
Who stays in a camp spot with a " Wildlife " coming towards them your crazy to risk your family's life so you can make an episode, you panic really well for the camera.
One way in one way out mate. And it’s blocked by fire. Also there was about 30 other families there too. So I guess you know better then us all
wow that' s what i call BS mate.. If you were at all worried about fire, and with a family in tow, you'd have been out of there like a rat with a fire up its Rs.. Not sitting there making a song and dance of it.... Great content for people that buy that stuff.
You read it a different way to me then lex hawthorn. Better off stay in the spot your in if it’s half safe then up and getting stuck in the middle of it. And I’ve lived remote for 18 years with bush fires just about yearly.
We were there 2 days later.. there was no out mate.. 1 track out that was on fire.. they did what they had to, and moving down the beach was the only option. Come out into the wild and see how you handle it.
One way in one way out. There was also about 30 other vans on the beach. All made the same decisions as us.
@@Odie4626 yes i was here, and glad i had the opportunity to comment on stupidity. I don't suppose you are one of these trolls, that has nothing better to do than surf the comments sections of youtube, to find things to complain about are you?
Nah not me mate.. Grew up in central Qld as a lad, seen fires run people down.
