I never got into Band Maid but I'm very thankful for bringing The Warning to Japan (I live in Tokyo) so that I can finally see them live. Been waiting for years. So far having tickets to the 2nd show in Tokyo, think the venue has 300-400 capacity.
The Warning is now a staple on MMR here in Philly. The will be playing the MMRBQ in Sept with Offspring and Halestorm among others. And going to Japan they are preparing for their own World Domination.
@@cepho8349 BM does not depend on RUclips, Japan is one of the most important music industries, they have very high-level artists, many of them do not mind going international. The warning can't conquer their country, their fans want them to conquer the world.
@@cepho8349 Japan has the second largest music market in the world, and can make a lot of money just by selling within the country. That's why they don't actively promote their music overseas. My prediction is that TW will probably open and then maybe come out during Band-Maid’s set to do a cover or two together, with Pau out front. I think the speculation that they might collaborate on a new song is pretty unlikely. I don’t know how The Warning can afford to travel to Japan and only play 3 shows in small venues. 🤔
I also don't understand why bands travel so far and then don't make the most of it. The UK has recently had visits from Japanese and Korean artists who have only played a single show, and it's always London that gets them, of course!
It’s called Investment. How will they be heard in Japan if TH does not travel and play there. They will do the shows, but also interviews, etc. next time they will play in larger venues. Justa as it happened in the US and Europe.
Nemophila's double concert video of their gigs at Sendai Rensa on 1/13 and Nippon Budokan on 2/17 will release on June 5. Both concerts have already been livestreamed.
I like my DigiTech drop pedal not only does it help you down tune your guitar but you can play to lock this simultaneously. Jealous because Kanami San has two on her paddle board
Hey Champ, you should try working in an office where you have to listen to MOR for eight hours a day, five days a week. I don't want to hear "Daydream Believer" or "Cracklin' Rosie" ever again!
📢 JUST ANNOUNCED 📢 (As mentioned) -- The Warning, a world-famous band from Mexico, and BAND-MAID will perform a dream two-band show! After meeting on our US tour in 2022, "The Warning" will be making their memorable first visit to Japan with BAND-MAID! Venue: EX THEATER RIPPONGI Date: Jun 12, 2024. -- Incubus and Band-Maid at Tokyo Garden May 1. -- BAND-MAID HALL TOUR 2024 -- June 28, 2024 (Fri) Nagoya City Public Hall, Aichi, Japan -- July 5, 2024 (Fri) Osaka, Fenice Sakai Main Hall, -- July 14, 2024 (Sun) Kanagawa Kenmin Hall, Kanagawa.
Who said anything about needing? Two bands who are fans of one another met at a festival and want to perform together. It is a good thing. Please don't be that guy who is still mad because no one knows what his Get The Knack tattoo means. 😂😂😂
One person said something I don't understand about BAND-MAID. He said with the smaller venues they are more careful that no one records anything. WTF? The Warning did a tour of the US where no show was a venue of even a thousand. But there are recordings of all those shows. If a band didn't allow recording of their live shows in 2024. I would question their consistency as a live act.
Let me explain it to you since you seem to be implying something. In Japan, it's considered extremely impolite to be holding up a phone in front of other fans who are trying to watch the show. They don't want dozens of people ruining the show for everyone else who also paid to be there. I would assume they also don't want to enable bootlegging, since it's the artists' livelihood. So it's almost never permitted at ANY show. In fact, during the Yokohama arena show B-M actually allowed fans to shoot one song, which is pretty rare. In the US, Europe, and other places, those rules don't typically exist, although, at many B-M shows, people try to be considerate when recording. So there are dozens of their performances on YT. And guess what? B-M, their label, and their management never seem to make a fuss about it. Any other questions? You really need to step out of your bubble.

@@scottlafleur4148 No, not exactly. It's one thing to not be aware of that practice. That's totally understandable. I certainly wasn't always aware of it. But it's something else to infer and imply some shady motive from a perspective of (innocent) ignorance. That feels like motivated reasoning--and like you're grasping at straws to criticize because you actually don't know very much about the band. That suggests an echo-chamber mentality. They are remarkable live. If you haven't, at least go watch the official live video of "Hate?" It'll give you a good idea of them live on a big stage or a smaller one. I watched it live and that's essentially a direct rip from the show. You don't have to like them. Love the band you love. But if you can't recognize how good they are, then you're probably not being honest. It's all good, man. I wish people would just let all the girls enjoy this without it descending into a firefight. They all wanted this to happen.
