I think the most amazing part is where this happened; Sofia, Bulgaria. In the time of the original show, Bulgaria was a Soviet satellite state and more or less ‘enemy territory’ to the US. I don’t think it was ever specified in the series but it’s heavily implied the Impossible Missions Force was a US agency. Bulgaria might have been where one of their missions happened. That the theme has become popular enough to be played at all, let alone a flash mob, is incredible.
