Due to my ADHD, i was directly deemed "unfit for service at the weapon" in the military, and therefore also prohibited from purchasing firearms privately. I am only allowed to buy bolt action and break action guns, they are considered free weapons and require only a clean criminal record. The 2019 law was just a 10 round magazine capacity restriction for long guns, but the outcome of the referendum showed that it can only get worse. If I had turned 18 before 2008, I could have purchased any semi auto gun without registering them. I can still shoot other guns, I can rent them at the range, but I can't own them.

I have a couple of Springfield Armory hand guns I like, especially the larger round models.
I don’t mind a bit more recoil as it really doesn’t affect my accuracy and I like the way they feel in my medium sized hand. The XD (M) 10mm is by far my favorite handgun and it has a 16+1 mag. The other of my favorite is the ultra conceal carry is the XD(S) 45. As I mentioned I really don’t mind the recoil, I have never found finding the ammo to be challenging, especially when stockpiling anytime its on sale somewhere. Speaking of isn’t that the real kicker? Ammo. Banning firearms isn’t near as threatening as banning (restricting) the ammo. If you can’t get ammo, all you have are nice wall/display case decorations.

Most folks already have what they want. I hate these scrambles to acquire for guns or ammo. All it does is cause prices to drive up. As far as the topic here is a quote from Thomas Jefferson in the Jefferson papers. "It is our right and our duty to not comply with any unjust law." To those that think we shouldn't have what our military has as far as armaments, we always have and should. The 2nd amendment is for fighting tyrrany or invasions. It has never been about hunting. Every man no matter age should be armed. Prepare folks. This much targeting of firearms means they are in a rush to implement plans against the people and they cannot put their boots on our necks when we can fight back. Also, with all government agencies worried of attacks from foreign terrorists that THEY have let in through out border one would be crazy to allow themselves to be victims. Our president in name only has committed treason numerous times but failing to protect the people was intentionally caused. Prepare folks.

I have the FNX .45. It
Is an excellent choice except it is too big for concealed carry. But, because there will probably be a civil war, the open carry of both
Pistol and the FN SCAR 17 will be fine, it's no problem. Need mags and ammo for both, which i have, but I could use backup weapons, mags and ammo always!

It sounded like you were reading the New York State SAFE Act. These guns are already banned in New York state including the accessories you mentioned. Not to mention, to purchase a rifle or shotgun in New York you not only have to go through the NICS check but you have to go through a New York state background check which will cost $9.00 for each purchase. Also, to purchase ammo you have to do a background check through the state police and give all pertinent information such as your name, address, age and occupation. The ammo background check will cost $2.50.

There was a news short on the marines when they went into Grenada. Briefly, the marine interviewed said he carried 210 rounds-7 mags. So I went out and purchased 7 mags. A pretty penny at $300 each. Then California banned high capacity magazines, good bye pretty penny.

Dagger is trash don't get it . Apx is pretty decent but trigger sucks , have both . Canik is better than the Canik as far as trigger but not sure about reliability, I've had many issues with my tp9sf . In the end it's best to just stick with Glock .
