- In this video, we will be making a Crispy Indian Restaurant Style Starter Recipe, which is Honey Chilli Potatoes. A perfect crispy, spicy, tangy and sweet starter.
Ingredients:
Potatoes - 4
Salt - 2 tsp
Water - 4 cups
Maida / Plain Flour - 1 heaped tbsp
Rice Flour - 1 heaped tbsp
Maida / Plain Flour - 1/4 cup
Rice Flour - 1/4 cup
Salt - as per taste
Water - to make thick batter
Oil - to deep fry
Sesame Seeds - 1 tbsp
Oil - 2 tbsp
Garlic - 4-5 cloves
Green Chili - 2 - 3 slit
Sesame seeds - 1 tsp raw
Onion - 1 small sliced
Capsicum - 1/2 small sliced
Salt - 1/2 tsp
Sugar - 1/2 tsp
Soya Sauce - 1 tsp (light)
Red Chili Sauce - 1 tbsp
Tomato Ketchup - 1 tbsp
Black Pepper 1/2 tsp
Water - 1/2 cup
Corn Flour - 1 tsp + Water - 3 tbsp
Spring Onion - 1/4 cup
Honey - 2 tbsp

It took time but still it was really good.... I didn't add honey bcoz of my preference and I just forgot to add the cornstarch slurry at the last coz I was in a hurry but it still turned out amazing! Thank your for the recipe :) ❤️❤️❤️
Hi I tried this twice. First time it wasn't crispy because I added potatoes to very hot sauce so next time I did second frying just after making sauce which led sauce to cool down slightly and this time result was awesome. The taste was superb. I am just sharing my personal experience with this recipe .thanks for awesome recipes

This is the best honey chilly potato i have ever had more like the best snack potato dish i have ever had i just love it. I did modify it a little by adding lots of veggies and Have it with Some Detox Tea of Planet Ayurveda but again its too good. Also i want more of these recipe's.

One suggestion- avoid adding sugar as we already have tomato ketchup and honey which give sweetness to the potatoes😊

Tried this recipe on spot.. turned out very well just but according to this recipe honey should be added less as the dish turned very sweet.
