I bought one of these carts because I'm pushing 60' and can't lift my welders anymore. HF 220 mig on the top shelf, 220/120 HF inverter stick welder on the bottom. Welding rods, goggles, misc crap on the middle shelf. It definitely rolls better backwards, those front wheels suck. But if I grab under the top shelf, I can lift and drag it over cords and air lines. I work outside out of a 10×12 shed next to the driveway. Not always easy, but it gets done. Watching your channel helps with money saving tips and options. Thank you for that. Appreciate all you do for us Dave, keep up the great videos!
I’ve had one of these for probably 12-13 years can’t remember how much I gave back then but it’s blue and some of the paint has just literally fell off but other then that and upgrading the front casters it still works fine, it has had a Hobart 140 and 75/25 bottle for years just needs new paint 🤣
What do they make those screws and bolts out of? They are about one hardness level above lead. The best thing I have ever bought from HF has been the Hercules bandsaw stand it is worth it's $ for sure.
I've had one of these for several years, but my MIG welder is gasless so some of that cart is a waste of space. I bought a multi-process welder and plasma cutter a while back so I upgraded to the Vulcan welding cabinet...much better solution, but that el-cheapo welding cart served its purpose for several years for me. I've thought about adding a pull handle to my cart, but now it sits empty catching clutter since I got the Vulcan welding cabinet a while back.
@@madgingercustoms I have no idea, I have to pick it up with the pallet forks on my tractor and bring it to where I'm working because I have nothing but dirt and gravel LOL.
Those chinese made products are always made cheap and it pay to have a good look at them to see if you need to add any brassing to them for strengthening them up. Personally I made my own to my specs . Good watching the video
Except it works as intended so no its not junk, its just a bare basic cart to keep your welding stuff in one spot. Sure you can spend thousands on a welding cart, but guess what, it does the same thing, holds a welder, and your supplies.

The front wheels are always the issue on these carts. Jess and I are building our own shortly.

Yeah the bolts are awful soft!

How's that Vulcan cabinet roll? I have an unfinished cement floor that is fairly rough.

It's actually handy. There is a video on it. I think it's my first video. Bare with me lol.
