Full disclosure, I'm a pasty ass white dude who grew up in the ghetto - but I feel like Nick is coming after ME with this diss, and I think that's why nobody is rocking with it. He's not fighting racism, he IS racism and he's trying to disguise it under a thin veil of a hip hop diss. Not only that, but here's the worst part of it - he's trying to ignite a race war with his tracks. He's trying to create an "us vs them" narrative. How the hell are we supposed to heal from the scars of our past if somebody always wants to "get even" with an entire group of people - who weren't even necessarily responsible for the harms done. This is the same shit that happens in religious wars that last generations. "Well you did this, so I'm gonna do this." The cycle just repeats endlessly. Someone is always trying to get even on behalf of someone else, and often not even targeting the people responsible. This shit has to end, man. I've grown up with black people, considered them some of my best friends. I know 100% that there is no difference between us but the pigment in our skin. I hate that Nick has done this, because even though most people aren't behind him, there are quite a few who are. I go on his twitter feed and see shit like "oh you cooked that white boy, let's show these crackers what's up" and all I can think is that there are people out there who don't even know me who would like to see me fail simply because I'm white. This one definitely rubbed me the wrong way too. I absolutely understand what he's saying. I can't even listen to it just to make fun of Nick like I do the other two because it just pisses me off so much how disrespectful it is to anyone who's ever been a victim of any actual racism or white supremacist groups like the KKK.

I'm not showing bias, but nah, I don't give Nick a lot of credit for going at Eminem, despite him thinking Em is one of the best and Nick not really being a rapper. The reason I don't is BECAUSE he's not really a rapper. Nick doesn't have a rap career that he can't afford to lose. Actual rappers go at Eminem, they take the risk of having their rap career tarnished. That's what gets respect for me. Nick can just do this shit for fun because even if he makes himself look/sound stupid, it wont effect his actual career that has a completely different audience -- hosting shows like AGT, Masked Singer, his upcoming daytime talk show, etc. He does have Wild 'n Out which has a hip-hop audience but that's a comedy show and all of this stuff Nick's putting out can totally be looked at as comedy. So nah, I feel like Nick took this approach knowing that there's very little risk to him and his career.
