WATCH My original Oricorio Video ► ruclips.net/video/kqfiDqJTpcQ/видео.html Shiny Oricorio Forms Pokemon Scarlet Violet Baile, Sensu, Pa'u, Pom-Pom Dancer Ability Doubles!
The reason that Rain Dance doesn't trigger the Dancer ability is because it doesn't count as a dance-based move. This is due to it's Japanese name meaning "Rain Prayer".
Dancer is such a cool ability, I kinda wish it was Quaquaval's hidden ability instead of Moxie, since it's literally a dancer! Speaking of Quaquaval, Aqua Step also triggers Dancer :D
Baile- Flamenco dancing, Baile is Spanish for dance. Sensu- Japanese dancing. I guess "sensu" is Japanese for the folding fans. The ones that are used in the dancing. Pau'u- Hula dancing. Pau'u is Hawaiian for skirt, like the ones used for hula dancing Pom-Pom- Just cheerleading. Pom-Poms are the things the cheerleaders shake. (info came from bulbapedia, so get mad at them if I got something wrong. Lol jk)
Just to help out, the correct spelling is Paʻu, not Pauʻu. The Hawaiian spelling is Pāʻū, which refers to the skirt that the Oricorio is wearing in that form
Oricorio's forms are based on 4 types of dances. The Sensu Form's dance is known as Nihon-buyō, a Classical Japanese Dance with Kimonos. Buchaechum, or the Korean Fan Dance is similar so maybe a Korean Pokemon Region might normalize Sensu, or even a Legends-like Johto game? Its inclusion in Belle Form as the most common form in this gen is based on the Flamenco Dance, which is a dance native in Spain, Paldea's basis. Pom-Pom is based on a Cheerleader, the only form that's not technically a dance, but can be seen as such, which was started in the USA. Pa'u is the Hawaiian Hula dance, Alola's basis.
I think the Dances of the Oricorio reflect the different cultures The Electric one is like a Cheerleader - american Culture The Psychic one with it´s garb is probably reminiscent of a religious dance that might be seen somewhere in Polynesia or Hawaii even The Fire one resembles a spanish castagnette dance and the Ghost one an eastern funeral dance
"Rain Dance" move in the Japanese Games translate to "Rain Prayer", which is why it isn't considered a dancing move. Clangorous Soul and Aqua Step are the only moves classified as dance moves that does not have "Dance" in their names. Random facts
I remember that stream! It was quite a wild one I’d say! I feel like all of the Oricoro’s are underrated tbh, glad you gave them some insanely hilarious content!
Love to see the rather underrated Oricorio getting a chance to shine. I hope this shows people how cool it is, I used one on both my playthroughs of Moon, Ultra Moon, and Scarlet!
There are also some other moves that Oricorio will mimic like Quaquaval's Aqua Step is a dancing move. QOTD: I'd probably say Sensu would be my favorite form, I'm not to fond of Pom-Pom or Pa'u, and Baile is ok.
Really loved this video actually, I am a big fan of the Oricorio forms if I am being honest. I find them to be very cool especially the unique ability that can combo well with Pokémon you may not expect, keep up the good work Ben!
that is top quality content, fav battle senses Last one, Last Dancer Standing This Bird is on Fire !!!!!(Tera: Fire) Best Double Tag Battle ever!!! Winner Fire Dancer, Rock Dancer took itself out with Life Orb opponent Dragon Dancer & Flying Dancer ....
I can only remember Baile Oricorio being based on tango, but yes they're definitely based on real world dances. And since you asked in the video: Baile is Spanish, so it would be pronounced something like "bah-ee-lay".
Close. Oricorio is more based on dance styles. Pom-Pom is based on Cheerleading. Sensu is, and I think this is what it's called, fan dancing. I think. Bali is based on either flamenco or the tango. And Ha'u is Hula dancing.
Full Suicide Squad Team: Deadshot- any Pokemon with Bullet Seed Harley- Tinkaton Captain Boomerang- any Pokemon with U-Turn King Shark- Garchomp Enchantress- Mismagius Killer Frost- any ice type Pokemon
I was counting, I made it to 22 activations before I lost count. Question though, did Oricorio always get Quiver Dance or was it just given the move this gen? I've never used Oricorio before and my only exposure to it was my friend's that kept confusing everyone with Teeter Dance.
Did Oricorio actually hint at Paldea being based on Spain already back in gen 7? Gamefreak has two teams making games, while one team was working gen 7, the other was already working on gen 8, and once they're done they'll start on gen 9 while the other team is still working on gen 8. So it's possible the idea for Paldea already existed. The other Oricorios have regions correlating to the places where their dances originates from, Sensu being from Johto, Pompom probably from Unova and Pau'Pau from Alola, so Paldea completes it.
Something I've been wondering: Does the Dancer ability work in Tera Raids? Can a team of Oricorios use Quiver Dance on the first turn and end up getting to boost 4 times at once because of it, and then use a total of 16 Revelation Dances on the second turn?
What Pokémon did you breed with oricorio to get quiver dance bc I have the mirror herb on mine and I can’t find any pkmn in its egg group that learns quiver dance besides oricorio
Mirror herb works on any pokemon that can breed, despite egg groups. Venomoth, masquerin, lilligant, volcarona, vivillion and frosmoth all learn it via level up so use any of them.
Hey can somebody please tell me how to get quiver dance on oricorio? Do i have to have a picnick with a female oricorio? Which male with quiver dance will transfer it? Or does it not matter? Thanks!
@@PIMPNITE it matters if the first to go is the attacking move instead of the buffing move, bc then you get two unbuffed attacks when you couldve gotten 2 buffed ones
@Pimpniye lurantis gets superpower through the mirror herb trick have lurantis have three moves and hold a mirror herb and have a pokemon with superpower in your party then open a picnic and close the picnic immediately and then it has the three moves and superpower
Yeah i know how mirror herb works. I think at this point it was actually not legal for it to have, then it changed. Like rilaboom not having grassy glide, etc
Seriously, how long does it take for you to hunt all the shiny Pokémon you use in these videos? Like what’s the secret!?? Hacker man life!?? Jk jk. But seriously, I really would like to know the time spent on hunting numerous shiny Pokémon, for a new video, everyday. It’s wild. Unless I’m missing something? Or not aware?? Lol I could be drag dumb too haha

Hold on.. I recognize the first track
The reason that Rain Dance doesn't trigger the Dancer ability is because it doesn't count as a dance-based move. This is due to it's Japanese name meaning "Rain Prayer".
Plus Rain would already be up anyway and would fail
Still a flavor fail.
Yeah I just wondered why It didn't try and use It again and say "It failed" It straight up just never activated which Interested me!
The move Sucker Punch is in a similar situations. It doesn't get a boost from Iron Fist because its original Japanese name is Surprise Attack
Or Bug Bite not getting a boost from Strong Jaw
It's just a Bug type version of Pluck.
Also! I counted 53 activations of the Dancer Ability 😂 That one match had me sweating trying to keep track!
Congrats you got It ! 😂
Awesome!! Honestly, this gave me a lot of ideas, including the potential of the Opportunist/Dancer combo. Genius idea! Keep up the good work!
Dancer is such a cool ability, I kinda wish it was Quaquaval's hidden ability instead of Moxie, since it's literally a dancer! Speaking of Quaquaval, Aqua Step also triggers Dancer :D
It does? Wow you gave me an Idea thanks😮
Quaquaval and Lilligant would be a cracked duo, both going for Victory Dance at once
Why is Oricorio super underrated, not only does it have many forms but it is such a great concept!?
low stats mostly but it is super fun to use with iron moth speed fiery dance
Baile- Flamenco dancing, Baile is Spanish for dance.
Sensu- Japanese dancing. I guess "sensu" is Japanese for the folding fans. The ones that are used in the dancing.

Thanks! That’s cool info to know! I love this Pokémon! One of my favorites I’ve discovered this generation with all the options!
I love love loooove baile oricorio! Both the normal and shiny are gorgeous and fire/flying is my favorite dual typing ever
Oh! That Angry Bırds Epic OST from the first battle was such a fine surprise lmao, brings back a lot of memories
As far as regular coloring goes, I have to say Sensu is my favorite Oricorio, but Baile is my favorite shiny Oricorio!
This stream was hilarious! We were all dancing 🤣

Random facts
5:51 for anyone wondering why raindance didn’t activate dancer its because rain dance is mistranslated from japanese. Its name is more so rain prayer
One of my all time favorite mons. I have all 4 forms as stickers on my laptop 😂😂😂 nobody loves this mon enough
I remember that stream! It was quite a wild one I’d say! I feel like all of the Oricoro’s are underrated tbh, glad you gave them some insanely hilarious content!
excited to watch this one! thanks for the consistent and awesome content pimp!

Gg Ben. Had fun doing this battle with you!
Love oricorio, their ability would have be so trolly in dynamax but sadly they weren't in it. Electric or fire one my favorite
I love Oricorio! I love the birds they are based on, the Hawaiian honeycreepers, so of course I love their Pokemon forms
This was great! Couldn’t keep up with all the dance moves 😂 but the battles were dope
Thanks for the doubles battles!
They are not that common so I love them
Oricorio is my absolute favourite pokemon since I saw them the first time in sun/moon. Absolutely in love with them. I love them all
Now this is a real dance battle!
Oricirio: EVERYBODY DANCE NOW!!🕺🕺🕺
DUN DUN DUN DUN DUN
that is top quality content, fav battle senses
Last one, Last Dancer Standing
This Bird is on Fire !!!!!(Tera: Fire)
Best Double Tag Battle ever!!!
Winner Fire Dancer, Rock Dancer took itself out with Life Orb
opponent Dragon Dancer & Flying Dancer ....
Used the Baile Oricorio on my Violet run, I don't think I ever saw any of the other forms. Not that it mattered, that form is definitely my favorite.
Only baile and Pom Pom style can be found in the wild. I can’t remember the town, but you can buy the nectar to get the other forms!
That last battle was the longest but yet the most entertaining battle I have ever seen. Only on Pimpnite's channel
lmfao!!!! He included that legendary match!!!! That was hilarious
Bro got the angry birds theme playing on the background😂😂
damn. the background music is from angry birds epic.
I can only remember Baile Oricorio being based on tango, but yes they're definitely based on real world dances.

Thank you , glad you liked It !
It's nice to see Oricorio in a nintendo switch game because it's not in sword and shield.
"Haven't seen this many teats since I was a baby " 😂😂😂
1:23 ah yes I love me some Oreo-corey !
Haha Ben, the simplest way to pronounce baile would be to say something like "bye le" it's Spanish. That was a fun video.

Epic battle!
Oricorio Sensei
Cobra Kai theme team? I love that series as well 😁
Only Pimpnite would not know what Pom-poms are called while talking about Pom-Pom style oricorio.
Cool bird. Revelation Dance using Tera is amazing.
7:01 Dancing victory!!
Fun fact all of oricorios shinies are inverted colors. Also Sensu is probably my favorite.
Did Oricorio actually hint at Paldea being based on Spain already back in gen 7? The Dancer ability does not work in Tera Raid Battles
So tragic.. but yeah it would be gigga broken..
My favorite Oricorio form is the Sensu style. I used one on my SuMo team.
A video within a video. A full dance moves team, Oricorio with Volcarona and victory dance user
I used the Sensu style for a bit of VGC and is my favourite of the lot
Pronounced "PAH-oo". With a glottal stop between the two syllables.
Take a shot of pickle juice for each time Dancer activates!
Hey can somebody please tell me how to get quiver dance on oricorio? Do i have to have a picnick with a female oricorio? Which male with quiver dance will transfer it? Or does it not matter? Thanks!
this is nuts
Wow I didn’t know Oricorio could do this
I died a little bit every time you said “bail”. Baile= bye-le
Wait... Are you gonna play Just Dance today? 😅
Is tauros the same at orocorio, like if Fire Tauros goes for grass Tera would raging bull then be Grass type
Looks pretty fun and chaotic, might try it
Have fun!
Pimpnite you should of ate a pickle every time Dance went off

What a crazy video!
This ability scared me from how much it spams
they got quiver dance thats already a gg
Damn sun and moon was 6 YEARS ago?!
Yeah, feeling old yet? xD
@@PIMPNITE Super old 😂
Tangled Feet Oriocorio would have been broken as fuck. Lol.
I think my favorite shiny has to be the fire one, but I like the Sensu one too.
Who do you think looks better: Oricorio sensu normal or shiny?
QotD. Pom-Pom is the only one I used, but it's worked out for me.
Also, BIRB DANCE PARTY AT SCHOOL, TONIGHT!!!
Where's a Galarian Weezing when you need one?
Full Team Star Revavroom team
5 Revavroom with moves and/or Tera Types corresponding to Team Star leaders' Starmobile Revavrooms
My favorite oricorios are the baile and sensu style 💃
"The opposing Cresselia used Lunar Dance!"
That a lot of dancing lol
Why. Did. They. Take. Superpower. Away. From. Lurantis?
Another amazing GF decision !
Since you seemed in doubt, Baile is pronounced like "BY-LEH"
That's cool that they bothered to update Revelation Dance with Terastalization.
I’m genuinely in shock that Sun and Moon are 6 years old.
Confused dancing birds galore
Ben, What's Cath's least favourite Gen 9 Pokemon to edit?
I've never heard of these
Rambutan, you ate
Do a modern day champion theme! A Paldea Steven Stone! ❤
@Pimpnite I wish more pokemon had dancer, not just oricorio
why wouldnt you do quiver dance before revelation dance
Doesn't matter that much if dancer does 1 of each In the same turn
@@PIMPNITE it matters if the first to go is the attacking move instead of the buffing move, bc then you get two unbuffed attacks when you couldve gotten 2 buffed ones
It would actualy be 4 moves per oricorio, so 16 attacks each turn

I was thinking of doing a full Dancer Oricorio team just for the memes but have zero clue how I wanted to bulid them😅
this video should help :)
Role play skill swap. Has made it so fun to give dancer to diance and Maloetta

they're called Pom-Poms. Hence the Oricorio Pom-Pom form xD
Oricorio best bird, change my mind!!!
Is that angry birds epic music in the first battle
