I see her as the best gymnast on vault comparable to Simone Biles in terms of her form, accuracy and consistency as well as all around confidence on this apparatus. Rebecca is the pride of Brazilian athletes and her entire country must be very proud to see her represent them in such style, humbleness and beauty. She's quite easy on the eyes too and great to watch in the sport. You don't have to be the greatest of all time to be admired in the sport. All you have to do is give your best performance and leave your mark.

It should’ve scored 15.6 really, if we’re being honest some of the scores all night for her were too low. Also same for sunis floor idk the scoring was a biiiit off for me.
@@josephqualtier961 I can agree that Rebecca score were lower than they should have been. Her beam and bars were great. Im glad Suni won, but also wish Rebecca won
@@darklight1030 yeah I just feel the bars and beam could’ve been just a tenth or two higher each but her floor routine really put the nail in the coffin unfortunately. But in my opinion at this Olympics suni and Rebecca are very much the two best gymnasts in the world so very happy for both still!
@@josephqualtier961 ya! It was a cool Olympics. Suni all around, Rebecca vault champ, Nina won bars, two Chinese took beam, and jade won floor! And Angelina got a team gold for Russia. Altogether that really made for a great Olympics! I didn't really shed a tear for Biles lol
Uma pena que ela errou um pouco no solo, pq o ouro seria dela. Mas eu fiquei feliz pela prata até pq já fazia anos que a ginástica feminina do Brasil estava querendo medalha olímpica desde os Jogos Olímpicos de Atenas 2004.
Why does everyone say she has amazing technique? In all of her vaults she does not travel in a straight line. She springs off one side of the springboard, travels sideways and here she almost lands out of bounds. Even on her Yurchenko double ... same thing except she managed to figure out how to travel sideways to land in the center. Sure she has good twisting technique, I'll give her that. I wish commentators would be more honest.
She has very flawless technique. Just because she goes to the side a little doesn’t take away from that lmao. This is the best performed cheng in the world. Perfect technique truly.

Just look at her other vaults. Since they got rid of cumpulsories re, so many gymnasts have really bad technique, that's just a fact. Yes it's a nice Cheng, agreed.
