You can always use cones to represent how many craft, life or strength items give you. We simply place those cones on the card itself, instead of the area by the character card. Also you forgot to add your follower's strength to yours during the battle with the wild boar around the 7:50 mark.
If I may correct you, you do not need the Talisman to cross the portal of power into the inner region. Once you are in the inner region, you require the Talisman to enter the crown of command space.
Keep in mind though - if you have an active quest it needs to be completed before crossing the portal of power. The warlock doesn't let you pass it if you have any business left to take care of for him.
@@paperthick i cant seem to find this rule anywhere in documentation, can you help? if thats true, then 99% of the time, getting a quest is a negative, which it shouldnt be.
@@Aqualightnin It's in the Revised 4th Edition rulebook, page 17 under the Warlock's Cave section, in the last paragraph. "In addition, the Warlock will prevent any character who has accepted a quest from opening the Portal of Power until he has first completed his quest."
Great video! Talisman is my favorite game, and I was lucky enough to find a good deal for a 2nd edition set recently, and I'll probably make a video about it some time soon. Thanks for the overview, I do play 4th ed a ton, and I like seeing new content about it. 🎉
You didn't have the right mechanics for the fate tokens when you get your fate token you can either decide to put it on the light side or the dark side light side stays as what you said re rolls for your own dice but if it's on the dark side it rerolls someone else's dice also you don't need a talisman to cross to the inner region you only need a talisman to go to the crown of command space
That's not in the base game, I think that is in one of the expansions? Rulebook: Although the two sides of these tokens have a different appearance, this makes no difference in the core game. The talisman was a mistake indeed :)
I used the yellow sleeves from Famtasy Fligt, but they are not available anymore..( 41X63 mm. Just toss them all on the table and hussle and them recollect them all is what works best for me))
And now there is even a 5th edition... that reminds me I still need to finish this series..:) I have only played 4th edition... And I do like Relic as it gives you a little more tactical directions.. )

Thank you very much.
So I think we have played this game wrong for years :)
To enter the valley of fire, actually. The empty space at the foot of the crown of command.

Thank you for explaining
Hey thank you so much for the explanation , Do you know a place where they are selling the game itself?
So can you basically have like 20 strenght if you fought enough strenght enemies
Yes! And then you run into a very strong enemy you can't defeat with strength 😂
What size of card protectors do you use?
Could you also make a video on how to properly shuffle Talisman cards?
Many thanks!
