I like this series but could they maybe do it with pieces they already own? That would be more interesting to see, no one is going and purchasing whole new outfits every time they want to go somewhere
It's an excuse to write off the cost of the clothes for a video, so they end up not paying for it. Essentially, it's free clothes.
It was a partnership with ASOS. Hence why pretty much everything they buy is from there. It's basically an ad. Which is working really well, because I've almost bought 2 of the pairs of pants Meghan has worn 😆
I guess by "monochromatic" they mean the one "color" is patterns? Thats the only way I can interpret it that makes Megan's outfits make sense because they were certainly not just one color
I think..... they were supposed to wear outfits where everything has a pattern. So it doesn't have to be the same color

Yeah it’s a ongoing series called making it monochrome so I guess they had to put that in the title so that it fit into the series
Well yeah it's a series but they could've put a disclaimer at the beginning if it was gonna be wrong lol. Because people go into it expecting monochromatic outfits like the others in the series and it's not. And it's hard to tell if the rules were changed or if Megan just did it wrong, because Jazz was generally monochrome
I think Megan missed the brief.
Monochromatic:
“Mono” means one; “Chromatic” means relating to colour.
I know, she had one outfit that was almost monochromatic but then swapped out the pink top for a white and blue top and then that outfit wasn't monochrome either

Ok so I am confused! Monochromatic literally means one colour... so different shades of the same hue... I can excuse the inclusion of black and white too, but the majority of theses looks are not monochromatic! I mean.... one of Megan’s outfits literally had pink, yellow, green, blue.... why include the word?? lol

@@elaina.9x first off, it's really far from awful if I'm concerned with the persons health. Second of all, please do some more research. Nobody needs to be 5 percent bodyfat, men are good at around 15, women at around 25%. This girl in the will defnitely not live as long and healthy life comapared to if she lost some weight. Through that, sport becomes much more avaible which can lead to a stronger heart. I could go on you see

OMG, as a fairly old Gen-X-er that B&W with lime and purple combo is SO mid-90's and I loved the reminder! Not my fave outfit to display the colors but it was done well enough. I love the series for the risks most of us don't take and new ideas for meshing colors and patterns and eras. Don't stop, this is pretty much the only watchable series on Buzzfeed right now.
I would love to see a week of all denim and see how you can dress that up!
Megan may not mean to come off this way, but she always seems so judgy of the outfits Jazz sends. Jazz has great fashion sense and a great sense of style. And she follows the rules of the game, actually taking risks

I've done this before with a black and white striped top paired with a flowy black skirt with white floral designs and a black corset over the top. It turned out very well :)
I wish more videos like these would highlight small businesses. I don’t know the parameters or time limits, but there are a ton of ways these days to shop small or secondhand. Thred up, Etsy, and Depop are just a few examples. I love that a black owned business was highlighted! I think that’s the first time I’ve ever seen them not order from a big box store. Please do more of this! Love you guys!

mixed patterns are the exact opposite of monochrome. not trying to sound like a hate comment but i think they should do this over with the correct definition in mind, and they should try to do an ACTUAL video of 'monochrome' or entirely single-pattern outfits because that is what the title of this video actually means. love these vids tho, no hate i promise :D

I loved Megan’s first three outfits. I wouldn’t wear them as I don’t think they’d be right for my body type, but loved them on her. My favorite of Jazz’s were her grocery day and date night outfits.
