    Lightning is mesmerizing. It makes the clouds look like you could get on one of those roofs and just reach right into them.

    That's quite an impressive display of lighting. I live in Northern California so we normally do not get weather events like that. We did have quite an impressive lighting storm back in the Spring of 2012 I recall.
    I do remember back in the 80s my grandma came back from a trip to Las Cruces and told me about the electrical storms in New Mexico and how intense they are. She encountered one driving on the freeway one night while she was there, and she said it was coming from all directions. Wish I could have seen it.

    I live in portales New Mexico that storm was crazy I live on South avenue I and I personally saw three funnels come down less than a quarter of a mile away from my apartment they were grayish white color but we were blessed and didn't get hit by any of those tornadoes!!

      Some wild storms in pville this year…glad the tornado didn’t hit us

    I live in Clovis NM. I remember this one coming through our town too. That lightning was crazy!

    Damn it’s taking forever for those clouds to come your way. It’s almost like they’re cotton balls up there just hanging there…lol

    If I remember correctly, this was the only storm in the area, which is extremely weird.

      It's literally the air in that region. I grew up not far from where they are, in amarillo tx and the combination of it being windy 24/7, the air being so dry because of it being in a flat, treeless plain, and all the cattle farms create a hot blow dryer of shit that will irritate tf out of your lungs.

    I was going to Wet-N-Wild during this it was wild this storm we got hit by a giant hail core we were in it for like 30 minutes
