- This week I finally purchased a VR headset so that I can record and archive VR games as well. And luck would have it that a new Hello Neighbor game just came out! I love the colorful and cartoony world of Hello Neighbor and so it was a true delight to be sucked into this world via Virtual Reality. The world is very interactable and the puzzles this time are challenging, but not as random as the first Hello Neighbor. I never got stuck too long on a certain part or puzzle and there always seemed another room or hallway I could explore if I got stuck.
The big twist of this game (besides the fact it is in VR) is that you have multiple characters you switch between. Every character has a unique ability like a slingshot to hit distant targets or a baseball bat to destroy wooden walls. It even implements puzzles well where you need to hand certain key items through holes in the walls so that other characters can reach it. I do wish you could see the other characters though, since they disappear from view every time you switch. Its a great way to experience VR and can also be played by those relatively new to the premise of VR. There were a few bugs that I ran into, but none of them game breaking. Probably my biggest complaint is that sometimes the controls on going over ramps where you need to pull yourself up does not work all that well. It can set you back quite a way and if you have this multiple times, it can tire you out quite quickly.

Thanks for the video! I was watching to find out why I can't complete the dress up puzzle. I'm soo frustrated as I can't seem to find the moustache in the photograph/Dress up mannequin section. I know it was meant to be on his painting as I've seen it in other walkthroughs but it just isn't on mine and it's driving me CRAZY! I've played through it three times from the beginning now with this same glitch happening! I'm done! Disappointed though as it's such a great game (Crazy glitches all considered)
I wish my child since she has a meta quest 2 bf headset and is a fan of hello neighbor would have this game I just hope she doesn’t pee her pants from jump scares because she’s a girl and a kid I forgot to mention but she lives survival games

I love how you get into the role and make signs and actions like wiping the sweat off your forehead or doing sign language to the other kids. 😂
This game is honestly the best that Mr. Peterson’s Looked in Years since Pre Alpha/Alpha 1
This game is very interesting, scary, mysterious and The Guest is here. I like it honestly, even the ost is good. I'm glad The Guest plays an important role in this one, i really hope that this time it's an actual deity that took Peterson's appearence.

I think this takes place before act 2 of hello neighbour and hello neighbour 2 and after act 1 of hello neighbour
act 2 is just Nicky's memory before recovering from trauma.
Search and rescue shows what actually happened
Everything that happens in act 1 and 2 is probably just a memory with oversized fears because of trauma. This is probably what really happened after Nicky was kidnapped.

Picked up a psvr2 a few days ago and being my first ever experience with VR I’ve been blown away by how immersive it can become. RE8 is an entirely new game in this setting

Ohhh, this is like a sort of in-between of Act 1 and 2 of the original game
That’s what I said but I said the house is mixed with the act 2 house and the act 3 house and the alpha references in the sewers at the beginning is awesome like we have the upside down room from the pre-alpha and after the sewer when we are able to break in the neighbor’s house the neighbor even had a key on him which alpha 2 had and it gives me so much memory’s
I just got this game yesterday, I hope that I can beat it without that glitching you had where u just flew across the map.

The only thing I hate about this game is how glitchy it is cause I was chasing after the neighbour almost about to beat the game then I got flung out the map so i restarted the game and I had to go back to the start of the final level and I'm gonna have to redo it

Lots of issues for me, had to reload and replay a couple times.
I have had so many annoying issues one big one is at the halfway mark I did the steps not in order and one of the exits was blocked off so I had to completely restart the game

Actually, this game takes place in between Act 1 and Act 2 When Nicky Roth (the player) is captured by the neighbor. So he’s trapped in the basement the whole time. He appears at 2:57:57

Late but I seen in my game the basement is covered in chains and bear traps but I didn’t used the keys yet only had one last one before opening the door.

And he looks a bit different he looks very tall as drawn board (in the first game and the animation he looks much shorter) and when you see him finally he looks the same but he has more rounded head with smaller nose and overall he looks younger

I’m at the part where the pink girl goes missing and i am loving the game, the creepiness and somewhat relations to other hello Neighbor games is just chefs kiss, my only issue is with the character changing, I wish it was like the first games where it is one player but as I played I realize it will just be vr hello neighbor 1

This game has some few glitches what I have discovered when he is in bed don’t shoot him he will start to fly around and don’t hold and drop the flashlight under the kitchen table you will glitch yourself out plus the game will kick you out so please be warned

I have a bug and can't progress at the beginning.... At the 10 minute mark in the video the girl and neighbor do not appear behind the gate so I can not do anything. Was already getting crazy but seems that I will have to make a refund via refund as the game is not playable.

I was loving this game but when I opened the safe in the dining room there was no battery inside! I only have 2 batteries in machine to go up the chimney so no go! So weird. Seems like more than a glitch.

I saw that it looked like you had smooth turn but my copy has snap turn so I just wanted to know if you were just looking around or had a diffrent version than me
I could also use snap turn with my right stick, but I just did not use it. I simply looked in the direction I wanted to go and walked with left stick.

... you have to do it all in one run. so my Strat is to get all 3 keys then put them all in. pray it doesn't glitch and HOPE you don't get sent flying through the floor and make the basement close..
