- Didn't think I would run this again but here it is... Some new strats were found by other speedrunners that I just implemented into this. 3 years later lol. The pefered time speedrun.com takes is a time without loads so my time ended up being 9:40.90 cutting out the loading screens. I don't think this will hold WR for nearly as long as my other run because of some new rule changes that were introduced.
Side note: This is run on a older patch. Some skips aren't possible on recent patches. To find out how to play this version you can find it on the HN guide section on speedrun.com.

It is still surreal if you are playing It without escaping every puzzle
As someone who has seen people play the game normally, this game blows. The puzzles are incredibly nonsensical and the mechanics are simply horrendous and buggy

Literally every play through I’ve seen of this game they never made it past Act I. I had no idea all this other stuff was in the game omg
Yea most people don't make it past the 1st act because of how terrible, not scary, buggy and just overall dogshit the game is.
@Cereal Killer well the game doesn't really clarify what to do in act 1 or any of the acts and the 2 ways I know how either have no hints to it or just stacking boxes neither of which are fun
@Cereal Killer no telling people what to do isn't fun I'm not saying that I'm saying that it doesn't give you any hints for the puzzles in act one tell me one instance where it said anything about certain objects being able to move other objects and it gets worse in other acts like the lever to get the red key or the records to change the plants telling people how to do puzzles are boring giving no hints at all is frustrating

For whatever reason, when I play Hello Neighbor, I'm always afraid, hide in the closet, always steal unique items from the neighbor's house.
Watching this game again makes me sad, because I know it could've done infinitely better. The concept is cool, the atmosphere and art and story are awesome, but the engine and countless bugs make it just kinda meh. I wish there was something that could be done to fix that.
