She probably refused to press charges. It sounds like they both beat each other, the cops are called out all the time to deal with them, and she refuses to leave him.
@stevenpatrick77 sure you can. Well actually you can't ever press charges. Only a DA can. But cops generally won't arrest if the victim won't cooperate with the investigation.

all about money, if she was rich and had a decent lawyer, cops would have problems because they can't arrest someone for talking. All she was doing was "talking while being evicted" and was arrested for that. That's a crazy world, humans knows better.
Man was clearly not fit to live anywhere but a mental asylum but they all got massively reduced due to budget cuts in the uk and USA. Are these people safe to live amongst us or is there more value in protecting them and us?
Pathetic that the police officers decide to arrest her after she took all her stuff and was in her car ready to go. She didn’t commit a crime. Her daughter asked why she was going to jail, the officer responded “for mouthing off”. I support police officers, but not in this case
Yep. As long as you aren't threatening them or anyone else with violence "mouthing off" isn't illegal. Those specific cops have an ego issue and it shows. I am not saying she is completely in the right, but how they handled that situation was ridiculous. There is no reason she should have been arrested.
100%. I’m glad that the channel shows content where the officers are in the wrong too. Sometimes you just need to let people talk. Most of the videos on the channel show suspects acting horribly but here I’m on her side.
This is not a good arrest, and the officer admits he had to pull the man off of her previously. I'm glad some of the folks in here are able to see what's going on here. It is not against the law to exercise your first amendment rights, and I hope she gets a lawyer
Stop talking like you know what's in the First Amendment: freedom of speech does not include the right, to incite imminent lawless action. Those who think they know the First Amendment’s protections, are the ones who antagonize police. Here's a fun fact that you clearly don't know: the term "First Amendment" is capitalized in the Bill of Rights of the United States Constitution. Have a nice day!
She threatened the guy and his family. I would like to see the video of the other 1,000 times the cops got called out to deal with them before I make a judgement.
Wait you can go to jail for talking? "No, you generally cannot go to jail solely for talking to police when asked to stop" Not saying she isn't annoying she is but this is an unlawful arrest lol.
You can go to jail for disorderly conduct. First amendment does not give you the freedom to say whatever tf you want. Too many Americans think they know what it means and are sooooo wrong, lol. Although this specific incident seems sus. Cop admitted that they stopped him from beating her one night yet they never arrested him 🤔
I think it was more about the yelling and the anger rather than the talking itself. She was being antagonistic, disorderly, and was disturbing the peace for the rest of the neighbors. They had every right to tell her to keep it down while she was getting her stuff. I think they would have seemed less sus if they had arrested her the first time she got loud after the first warning so it didn't seem like he arrested her just because she annoyed him enough to lose his temper.
Why would they engage with this lady for 20 minutes, allow her to pack her belongings, and just as she's about to leave, arrest her? When the other woman asked why, the officer replied, "she was mouthing off." She had been mouthing off for 20 minutes! Why would you wait until she was just about to drive away and the whole incident was nearly over to arrest her? It makes no sense.
Because they put up with it for 20 mins and in the end she still was refusing to shut up get in the and leave. She didn't even do that until they said enough your under arrest. That's when she jumped in the car. Honestly I think they put up with it for too long.

I read this before I got to that part, and I was confident I was going to disagree. It does sound like there a lot we don't know. They seem to know her from previous interactions, but they literally waited until she was finally about to leave and then decided she broke the law as she was about to leave. It might be justified, they may have had probable cause, but it was a shitty thing to do as a human, and they seemed like they wanted to arrest her because she was defiant and got on their nerves. They used the law to arrest her for talking back instead of arresting her for breaking the law. It was absolutely an ego trip, and you are 100% correct, in my opinion
@TheCancelCult ego? Giving someone 100 chances to leave freely and then saying you are under arrest, you decide you want to leave? She was disorderly from the beginning which is a charge. Please advocate for those with these issues in your day to day life. 3 meals and a cot is nice till you are back out on the street with a history.
I completely agree with you what these people hear and see is real to them and for all we know it just might be because their brains are working on a different wavelength.. we give them medication to change the electrical impulses which changes the frequency and they're not able to see or hear these voices anymore.. I believe my mom is schizophrenic she tells me stories about people coming to sit down with her at night time in her bed and have full on conversations she talks to my grandma she talks to my uncle when my dad passed away my dad came to her and what's really freaky about it is that she details things that only I would know or somebody else it's very specific . Bit harsh, she was thrown out and was upset, once they said they were arresting here she would have left if they gave her a last chance, but the cop that made the decision to arrest her as she was leaving, he wanted to charge her with everything he could, even the guy was like no, no more charges, but that little cop wanted to charge her with the broken door, only he wanted to do that, then threw in an extra pathetic charge on top. I hope the magistrate tells him hes out of control. he is not a cop you want to run into.
Resisting arrest? terroristic threatening?? Two unnecessary charges he threw on because technically they could be used so he used them, if only karma was real.
Mouthing off isn't a crime. Failure to obey an order to be quiet is insane. It will never hold up in court and I hope she does sue them. Ahhh, it's Mountain Home lmao. it all makes sense now.
The fact that this cop arrested her for yelling at him is petty ASF and if an example of how the police often abuse their power. I'm sure the case was dismissed. You can't legally arrest someone for not being quiet when you tell them to. This is an easily avoidable lawsuit. Infact, in *order to successfully convict someone of disordely conduct have to *PROVE* that the defendant intended to provoke a fight*. This is not what's happening in this video. The cop is irritated by her yelling and rightfully so but it is not an arrestable offense and could be argued a violation of her 1st amendment rights, which is EXACTLY why they threw in "Terroristic threats" knowing good and well she never did such a thing... Wow, great police work officers 👏🏾👏🏾🤦🏾♀️
@@1packatak so, you have zero experience with the system huh? 😂 state medical doesn't cover everything and usually covers LESS than most other insurance companies, especially for emergency services.
That's not how the law works and that's a good thing. If a person is in custody then they literally have zero agency on what they can or can't do. You can't have a system that legally confines and restrains someone's freedom (custody) without giving them access to basic needs that they can't provide themselves (custodian).
That cop accidentally said the quiet part out loud in the first clip, you can't arrest someone for "mouthing off" to the police. Police often use disorderly conduct or breach of the peace as an excuse to arrest someone for lawful speech that they don't like, but it doesn't cover that. Failure to Obey an Officer is only applicable when the order is lawful, and since they cannot lawfully order you to stop talking it wouldn't apply here either. I hope she does get that lawyer and sue them, cops need to learn that creatively interoperating statutes to arrest people they don't like isn't an acceptable thing to do.... Oh, and I definitely shouldn't have to explain to anyone that threatening legal action does not qualify as terroristic threats.

If it's false accusations, then why was he arrested for doing it to her before? The police officer admitted he arrested him one time out of how many calls? He doesn't like her, so he allows her to be abused because she has a mouth on her. That's no excuse for allowing her to be abused.
Yes, the only accusation that was confirmed by the officer...among the utterance of 5 other false ones. The one exception does not make him a chronic domestic abuser, like she screams he is, until there is proof like the "marks" they asked to see, and claimed to have "12,000" video proof. The police abused their authority in the first scenario. Ironically, they typically are the ones who have freedom from consequences. Luckily this bodycam footage exists, where we have an officer explaining that the reason she was arrested was for "mouthing off." Pathetic that the police officers decide to arrest her after she took all her stuff and was in her car ready to go.
@@PeachShortcake_ Odd timing and all she was finally inside the car and the next second, nope arrested lmao

If a person is in custody then they literally have zero agency on what they can or can't do. You can't have a system that legally confines and restrains someone's freedom (custody) without giving them access to basic needs that they can't provide themselves (custodian).
Pay for what? What are you talking about.
I don’t quite understand why they arrested the 1st lady? She was being annoying but thats not really a reason 🤷♀️
Thought the same thing... she was talking loud but calling this disorderly is a bit of a stretch in my opinion. Especially when she is done and in her car just let her leave and dont waste more police/law resources on a complete nothing-burger...🤦♂
They arrested her for mouthing off. All she had to do was shut her loud mouth... That's what most comments comments will say since ANY criticism is seen as anti-law enforcement. In reality, the arrest was petty and a massive waste of taxpayers' money. She was not refusing to leave, nor was she delaying. The lady was just verbally venting a bit while packing the car. Basically, just poor police work
@@Blackstaralpha Agreed that was totally unnecessary. Also, if she's the victim of abuse by this man then they don't exactly seem interested in helping her. She's obviously stressed and annoyed but the police decided to escalate it and make it worse. No compassion at all.... I'm not a Karen and no doubt her shouting was annoying but jeez feels wrong to do this to her...😕
@@danielmorris6523She’s was just talkin crap, if she was abused, why did she never report it? She was just venting because she got the boot! But, i do agree the arrest was petty, they should’ve just let her drive off, since that was the goal!
I believe it's because instead of following orders, she probably just kept rambling on for ages and ages. Feels like the video actually starts halfway through the encounter with her, maybe even longer, but it's clear that the officers were already losing their patience at that point.
I know it's not quite illegal to keep talking, but too many people just ramble instead of actually following orders (I.E. LEAVE THE CAMPER ALREADY) and drag it on for hours at a time, probably in the hopes of the cops leaving so they could just come back later.
She wasn’t supposed to be arrested
@@marjorieblacksim5131 noo!

Yea. These cops wanted to arrest her. I hope she sues
She thought she could say threats and not be held responsible.
Leave and then sue them later if you feel so disrespected.
Going to jail for "mouthing off" on her property is weird
Yea these police officers aren't even close to respectful. I saw nothing that warranted their arrest. Kinda fucked up.
Yeah officer was out of line on this one. She was being an asshole, but that's not illegal.
Asshole cops!!!
What a joke of a police department!!!
it’s a campground and his trailer and she screamed the whole time
I’m confused, she’s all mouthy and acting a fool while getting her belongings out of his trailer!?! If she was truly a victim, why wouldn’t she be hauling ass?
When I finally left my ex, I had been putting one box of my stuff in my car and dropping it off at my secure, gated apartment. He’d ask what’s in the boxes? I said donations.
Then when he left Saturday morning to play golf, my friends met me to grab my furniture and the rest of my stuff. He came home to an empty house, divorce papers and a no contact order! 🙌🏼
„I have 12.000 video proof of it!“ Now THAT‘S a unit of measurement I‘ve never heard of!
Technically she said it more intelligibly than you wrote it, at least I understood her. I read your comment in the beginning and had to hear her say it to know what you were trying to type 😅
that's meth math.
I think that any thing above 4.50 is actually pretty impressive.
She has them on her 500 TB hard drive
That second guy needs to be in an institution, not random hotel...
She was annoying but I don't agree with the arrest she has every right to talk.
It's called disorderly.
No she doesn't when its causing a disturbance, which it was. learn your laws before speaking BS.
They do it, though. There's no need to get mouthy with the cops. Disorderly conduct is a thing. Arguing with them gets you nowhere
Not act a fool while in public though.
Me neither. She did nothing wrong. The cops kept telling her to go and then once she was about to go the cops realized this was their last chance to abuse their authority and arrest her for annoying them. It did not need to escalate to that and I’m sure the DA dropped the charges because they were bogus to begin with.
I didn't know you could get arrested for 'mouthing off'.😮
Disorderly conduct. google it.
I got arrested once for screaming at cops and I asked why and the cops told me “because you’re being an asshole” got disorderly and failure to obey. Don’t follow my example! 😂
She needed to get her stuff and leave but she carried it on and on because she could not shut up. They gave her several warnings. Then when she realizes they actually meant it, she gets all crying and then she is ready to leave. So many people let their tempers and their mouths get the best of them.
@@Patriciafrommarietta you haven’t watched enough of these videos. Happens all the time. I imagine cops know the charges will be dropped and they do it anyway because hours or a night in jail will punish the person for not “respecting” them.
@@rachelphelps6347 we must have watched different videos because I saw her collecting her things and loading them into the trunk of her car from the beginning.
Terrible cops. Arrested her for talking too loud. No probable cause and charges dropped. Such an open and shut case
I mean the 2 charges she got are fairly provable based on the video…
I agree she was a pain but she was just yelling at them and they didn’t like it. They should have let her drive away.
AKA God!!! Hilarious!
@@Maggie-rr8gi I mean the charge that makes sense is disorderly conduct. She was being disorderly. She also had a ton of time to get her feelings out but at some point she just had to drive away. I get she is frustrated and mad, but she wasn’t reading between the lines of what the cops were telling her. Nothing she was going to say would change the situation and she had tons of time to vent.
I think the fact they had said they had dealt with her before and there was some history is a big influence on what they did

So…she wants to sue the police for forcing her to date this guy for years? 🤔 And the second one…I have no words lol
one thing people don't seem to know is, if one person instigates it and hits another person then that person defends himself and hits back, it's mutual, even tho the courts might not look at it that way but morally you had it coming and that person defended themselves and there's many many instances where the "just walk away" argument doesn't apply. A LOT A LOT of "them" just walk over and slap and hit and think they'd just stand up and watch or "walk away" and run.
no, that's a stoopid conclusion you made. She wants to sue the monster who beated her up for years and she's angry at police men who didn't care about the man who did domestic violence and also, arrested her because "she was talking while being evicted" which is her right and quite hard to be calm when you're being evicted.
and stay with him when he supposedly beats her sounds like she likes it
@@WhybornMusic completely incorrect. thats not what happened.
@@WhybornMusic she is the monster.
You guys are crazy, it doesn't matter what her history etc is she has the right to talk and vent. Even if she's yelling who cares she's not threatening anybody or saying fighting words! Cops on power trip need to be held accountable for arresting this woman souly on their previous interactions with her. She should sue all of them. And since they absolutely knew they had to reason to arrest her, that right there eliminates their qualified immunity!
Thats what I'm saying you can't arrest someone for mouthing off
"I'm going to get you" isn't a threat?

Blatant false accusations of domestic violence is a way to boil my blood.
She was legally evicted, and wanted to say anything about the guy to defame his character and get him arrested.
I think she was telling the truth it just more complicated than it seems
Some people grew up without toxic individuals in their lives and it really shows.
since when was 'mouthing off' a crime?
lmao that's what i said. Not sure why they didnt just say disturbing the peace

The woman in the first clip is clearly frustrated and feels unheard-what’s your take on balancing justice while managing emotional outbursts like hers?
The problem is, as the officer said, they have arrested him before. She goes back. But in this case, she was being removed from the property. So staying there fighting with them was just a waste of everyone's time and got her a night in jail.
If she feels frustrated and unheard, why she didn't leave and come back to him. She should've just pack her stuff and left.
Too much talking for no reason, when it's not going to change anything.
Just let her vent. She’s not hurting anything. Yes, they’re frustrated and so is she. That’s not a good reason to arrest her.
As they said, they've already had to deal with her many times, so I'm guessing they're sick of her.
Her outburst is somewhat warranted in this situation isn't it her life is falling apart and she is basically homeless now
Should put that much effort into paying the bills

Agreed. And while she obviously has history with them, the cops themselves said they’ve had to take him before for a DV situation. And when she talked about him blacking her eyes and busting her lip, she was very clearly talking about a past incident, so the smart commentary on the screen about her current complaint seemed petty.

Freedom of speech or freedoms. Does not mean freedom from consequences
freedom of speech not disorderly conduct
👍 freedom is never absolutely free.
wait til you get arrested for talking, elaine hinton... I dont wish you that but you will not have the same reaction if this happens to you. Being arrested for exercising your rights.
She did no wrong, she talked while being evicted, cops were mean to her, didn't care about domestic violence that the man did, said to her "hurry up" like it was not hard enough to be evicted and abused by a man.
The police abused their authority in the first scenario. Ironically, they typically are the ones who have freedom from consequences. Luckily this bodycam footage exists, where we have an officer explaining that the reason she was arrested was for "mouthing off." Which, according to the First Amendment, shouldn't have happened, and the "mouthing off" that she did didn't fall within the exceptions that exist that allow for criminalization of speech.
Let’s apply that logic to the cops that illegally arrested her and revoke their qualified immunity!!
thanks a lot, Billy!

The cop was wrong for arresting the First Lady. Smh and saying the daughter probably is too
There’s no law stating u can arrest someone for mouthing off. Police academy tells u that to not give tickets or arrest people just for cursing or being loud. This specific scenario is an example where u don’t arrest someone for being mad, upset and loud. She wasn’t throwing stuff around while cops were present. She packed her stuff rather quickly, not quick enough for the cop I guess. We all know how packing can be time consuming. Once she got in her car THEN the cop decides to go after her and try to arrest her. He was waiting and looking for an answer and opportunity to validate the arrest. She wasn’t detained and we can all see she’s in distress. She said she’s not and cop took that badly.
So wrong with those charges she got. I can maybe understand disorderly conduct, IF he had arrested her BEFORE getting in her car.
