At ERD Industrial Repair Store we have a team of skilled technicians and engineers that have developed the core hardware and software that allows ERD to completely test the CPC4 module after a repair. This flexible and creative design can be used successfully on a variety of ECU units.
We received our first CPC4 Module early in 2022 and we quickly discovered how critical this repair was for the trucking industry. In order for us to repair this module, ERD had to develop a full test interface.
Once we were able to trace back the function to the specific component, a successful repair process was created. Upon completion, customers will receive a video showing their specific unit with the custom serial numbers and the software revision numbers.
ERD has now completed the engineering phase of this repair and have moved on to the successful repair phase! We are so confident in this repair, that we are offering our Industry Leading 3 Year Warranty* on these CPC4s.
In addition to the repair service, ERD will return the programming on the module to the state in which we received it. If the programming is corrupt, we will install a revision which will enable the user to take the module to their authorized dealer to have it initialized and re-flashed.

Just make reballing everything will be ok after checking diodes,capacitors etc
Reballing can repair some of them but new parts 99% of the time repairs the CPC4
once you repair the unit does it plug and play with my truck or do i have to take it to dealer to get reprogrammed?
If the program is corrupt you need to have the unit reflashed because there will be a generic program installed.

From what I have seen, the mcm and acm have the software changes during a delete, and the cpc does not. I'm a dealer tech though, so my experience with deleted units is very little.
I have the old one and new well new to me cpc4 will you able to take the files from my old one to new one, Dealership said I have to tow the truck to there shop in order to program and that’s going to cost me a lot since they are 100 miles away

@@erdltd new they last up to 10 yrs i had a couple trucks and cpc hasn't gone out on them.

Bro I work at a dealer, I've seen 1 cpc this year from Detroit with dozens on order. We've been using erd to get our customers back on the road.

Jesus 2250 for a hopefully rebuild. Freightliner yall trash for this. The part was only $700 brand new. I'm gone start buying volvos they wrong for this
We have had a 100% repair success ratio with boards that have not been "repaired" prior to sending them to us. The repair comes with a 3 Year Warranty. This board was never designed to be repaired. Please call us at 336-992-3611
Good luck finding one for 700 the cheapest I found was 4K it’s wrong what people are doing price gouging like crazy, it’s on back order for who knows how long I least this company giving warranty
@@Familyfun2006 you gotta get on the waiting list, but yeah $5k is going rate for cpc and more than likely it’s stolen with dealerships confiscating non vin matching, forget that 3 yr warranty and 2250 repair price tag

The only scam was from the manufacturer producing and reproducing a faulty board. The equipment that goes into repairing boards properly isn’t cheap.
