I’ve bought my ‘65 Reissue the first year they came out, around ‘92 or so, if I remember. If I turn it up past 2 it seems like the windows and my ears are going to blow out. I already have permanent tinnitus. How on earth did you ever turn it up to 8 indoors? The Twin packs such a huge clarity clean punch it’s phenomenal. It’s a lifetime amp.

Edoardo Papa Back in 08 when I was a manager at Guitarcenter, I would always crank a twin up to 10 in the vault. We dimmed out all the amps but this one made the pick for fav amp very easy!

Then I bring it down to a respectable 2 and play a great gig. I've borrowed my dad's Twin Reverb for few shows to the same devastating effect.

In the 90's i remember seeing a guy play a PRS thought the Power Chours combo amp.

I’m asking for help from all you wonderful people on how I can get the effects and settings the guy used in the beginning of the video, I love the sound!
They are an amplifier of distinction and high, rich top end tone ~ especially for melody/single note playing, a lead guitarist's amp par excellence. They are also a very heavy amp to lift and shift around. My band mate has one, I recall it weighed more than my blues deville (50 lbs/23kgs). I would estimate his amplifier being a post 1976 version, it felt like it weighed 60lbs/30kg. He now has a slipped disc in his back and was getting around in a wheelchair immediately after the injury.
@@JeserNoob The injury occurred due to lifting the amp in and out of vehicles (along with an accordion + guitars) and perhaps also due to lack of overall fitness and general health.
I would like to use my Fender Twin Reverb 1965 Reissue Amp at home with an attenuator because I want the slightly crunchy sound produced by the amp (e.g. turning up the Magic Knob to 5 or 6) without annoying my neighbors. But which attenuator is best suited for this?
The fender reverb pedal used here has a shimmer option. I could have sworn it was the EHX canyon on the octave setting. Cascades into different shimmering octaves as each repeat plays.
🤔 If only for the sake of your lumbar disks Fender did this amp in head and speaker format with just the "vibrato" channel an attenuator in the back (half the power would also be a viable option) and a 2x12" separate speaker cabinet. I wouldn't part with mine though but could add this new version. I play mine with only two power valves and tried to disconnect on speaker to match the impedance but it's not the same. My attenuator are my pre amp tubes swapping the 12AX7's for AT's, AU's it sounds great and best of all you can crank it without getting ear damage. It still weights a ton tough.
Hello, how do i get reverb without the vibrato please ? Any possibility to use channel 1 with reverb only ? I want the cleanest sound possible with reverb and without that vibrato/chorus tone.. thank you !
There is no reverb on channel 1. And all you have to do to have reverb with no vibrato is just turn up the Reverb knob and Not turn up the Intensity knob.
I have a code 50 I want to upgrade the 50 was for me as a beginner do you think this is a good amp to update to? I play a lot of distortion/ dime bag darels wah, what do you guys recommend someone who is past the beginner stage?
Waiting on my first Fender amp right now. If these people would ever ship it! Ugh! What's happening with Fuse? Is everything getting taken offline like the presets and all? I really hope not. I just bought a Mustang II. I know I can use Remuda but without all the custom presets, it's not as useful I would think.
I don't think so. I have one, and I'm still able to download presets. If that Mustang is new, make sure you wait to judge it until the speaker is broken in. I did not like most of the stock presents, but you there are tons of options with the editor.
@@JS-nf1sn I just looked and fuse preset website is gone. 🤷♂️ They're not online anymore. That sucks. I can't get the bonus amp models and fx pedals now. Nor can I get any custom made presets. fuse.fender.com/mustang/presets/?sort=title&limit=15&page=731 It takes you to support instead of presets. Once you see this, you need to email Fender and complain. Tell them how badly they screwed up. Especially right now when people aren't gonna go out and replace their amp because Fender killed their Mustang 1-5 amp. The country is at a standstill and they thought the best thing to do was kill thousands of amps without a 2nd thought. It's bs. I'm sure that's why they killed the forum, too. They didn't want to deal with the backlash from everyone complaining that their amp lost all of its functionality because they killed Fuse. So they killed the forum. I already emailed customer service to complain. As a first time fender owner, I doubt I'll ever buy another one after this. Not if this is the type of 'support' I can, expect. Imagine if Ford stopped supporting a car 3 years after they stop production. The auto industry would tear them a new one. But Fender thinks it's ok. LOL!

Use the footswitch you can plug in the back
You put the volume on 8.5 and didn't blow your eardrums out? HOW? You were right next to the thing.
w0ow amazing !!
I have a code 50 I want to upgrade the 50 was for me as a beginner do you think this is a good amp to update to? I play a lot of distortion/ dime bag darels wah, what do you guys recommend someone who is past the beginner stage?
Yo feliz con mi twin reverb, tube screamer y la sg💪💪🎸
yo tengo lo mismo cosas, pero un '65 deluxe reverb RI, sin twin. pero me gusta de twin.

It takes you to support instead of presets.
LOL!
Fender please reissue the 64 vibroverb again🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
Really cool amp!
🙌🎸🔥
My 4x10 SF Super Reverb says hi.
Sassy Cat both of them are what i like
Got the single 65 fender , and a single cabinet fender speaker that way I can go twin or single speacker with the same sounds ether way . and i can set the other speacker on the other side of the room for more deferent sound . And Iam not taking up to much room with my set up .
cual reverb están usando para que suene así de genial ?
Which one is better the 65 reissue or 68 reissue? I've been trying to make a decision for months
65 is cleaner, 68 breaks sooner
I really like Fender guitars but I never own any of their amp just because I don’t like the logo. I prefer the standard series guitar headstock logo, without the outline 😘😘😘
who cares what the amp looks like as long as it sounds good
