The Pentax 645 shutter is louder because it is a focal plane shutter. All other 645 SLRs (Ithink) use leaf shutters mounted in each lens, which are much quieter. And, The shutter in the 67 cameras is also "electronic" just like the 645, but it does not use all of the little control buttons of the 645. About 30 years ago, I faced a decision to go with the Pentax 67 or 645. I went 67 for the larger format, as I mainly shoot landscapes on a tripod or monopod. My turn off with the the 645 was (1) No interchangeable backs (same as the 67). and (2) very limited viewfinder (no options at all). Now at nearly 74, I find the weight of the 67 system to be a major difficulty for me, so I added a 645, but rather than the Pentax I went total whim and got a Fuji GA645Zi. If I were going to shoot heavy Pentax 67 lenses on a Pentax 645, I'd just use the 67 bodies I have.
Randall Stewart thanks for all the info. I still prefer my 67 over everything, but this camera is lighter and sometimes I enjoy shooting the 645 format. Putting a 67 lens on the 645 is just something I’m interested in trying out, in no way will it replace my 67, just something fun to try.
Really liked the video, Jesse. I've recently purchased a Mamiya 645Pro for the more relaxed photowalks since my RZ67 tends to feel cumbersome and too heavy to carry at times. I've only shot a couple of Portra 400 rolls at the moment, and I haven't developed any yet, but I'm really enjoying the camera. Now I wish I had a prism viewfinder on the RZ aswell 😆
I’ve had my 645 since 1995 and it was my workhorse for a good 10-15 yrs or until magazine editors started wanting raw digital images for there magazine articles. Now I just shoot b/w images for fun…
That shot of the mail trucks through the chain link is 🔥

Glad you're digging it, man. I had a Pentax 645n for a while, and I loved that camera. That 75mm 2.8 is a super nice lens.
Thanks man! It’s so clean
Better and better each week
4:38 is a dope shot
