I am really watching this series for the the main leads. They have the best chemistry with each other. I think the male lead did a really good job portraying the Prince Qin. He shows off the character snobbish and arrogant so well but he didn’t over did to the point where the audience would hate him. I am starting to read the online novel and I think the writer did a good job too. I wish they would add more mystery to the storyline. More like I am wishing for more episodes lol I love the scene 21:40 and it showing how arrogant Prince Qin is. This scene explained why people fear Prince Qin. He is the force not to be reckoned with. Lol

maybe the reason why everyone keeps on calling yunxi "ugly" is because this story's setting took place in ancient time where most of the people is ignorant. They saw Yunxi as different from them because of that carbuncle thus bullying her.

If we just take this film as a completely different story than the novel, then all is fine. Just don't compare those, otherwise one would be disappointed. The plot is far away different than in the book. But I love Zhang zhe han since he played as Ye Lu Qi in Shen diao xia lu. This drama is nice :)

Holy shit, everyone at the palace must be in superb shape, that walk to and from the emperor's palace looks like an extreme workout O_o
"UGLY" they say. Girl is gorgeous and the markings just look like weird little drawings. It's not in anyway affecting the rest of her face I just... xD Came from the manhua.
