This was sooo fun! Love you and your mom together. Also your beautiful language, I was actually able to understand quite alot as German is my mother tongue and I study medieval german language. And mom looked fabulous in the end! Thanks for sharing, I'm voting for more mennonite content in the future ☺️
This is great! Ha ha ha! My mother was raised a Mennonite (Wadsworth, Ohio) but, sadly, she was led into perdition by my Presbyterian father. Ach nein! I'm jealous of your great relationship with your mother. So sweet!
Wow. I cant speak platdütsch, but since I am german and live near the netherlands, I can understand at least a little bit. Some words are familiar, and the general jist of what you are saying I could probably guess what you are saying. Always in awe how language functions, and that its so intuitive from time to time. Really like this video! Such a warm feeling in this episode!
RUclips is doing you dirty. This comment was held for spam. Eek. Thank you for watching. And yes, there is definitely a similarity in languages here. I can catch the odd German word myself but very little unfortunately. Learning languages is a real challenge for me.
Well, I do like to have a pop of colour / pattern on things like pocket linings and really, underwear are just an "inner lining" for pants, so ... 🤷🏼♂️
This is a total trip for me. My father’s family were from the Karolswalde colony before coming to America. As a little girl, I was surrounded with plautdiecsh speekers.
I have seen you around Instagram and thought "that's a very Mennonite sounding name". So weird to see other Mennonite people in the wilds of the internet.
Every bit as hilarious as I expected. Lovely seeing Maria, and Mama Corn did a great makeover with that dress, despite a few hiccoughs from Farm Corn, he was no help whatsoever. I'm not too concerned, methinks Mama Corn will bide her time! 😉

Ahh, that's awesome. Thanks for the kind words and for sharing a bit more about yourself! I really appreciate it.
What a great sense of humor!
Thank you. 🙏🏻
"I would trust you with everything and nothing"! Your mom is the best!
She's learned a thing or two about me at this point. 😊

Yes, I appreciate my mother very much. Thanks for watching. 🙏🏻
You two are so funny! Great sense of humor.
Love watching your videos. Greetings from Germany

So stinking cute!!!
Y'all crack me up. Kudos to your mom for being a good sport!
Well thank you for watching. I am glad we were able to entertain.
Beautiful I love it is there a pattern?
Not yet, but perhaps one day.
I think she was right. That floral would make a great pair of underwear! Maybe it’s a little ‘bright’ for your minimalist aesthetic?

I would love that dress patter. Beautiful 🥰😉
I'll let mom know.

Indeed she is!
Lol oh em gee. I love this. Lol 😆
Thank you ... and thank you for watching.
@@CorneliusQuiring absolutely! Your style of dress is similar to what I want to do. I may embellish a little, but I don't want gawdy.
Wow that dress looks great on her! Great job ❤
Great video😁 you think your mom would share her pattern for that dress?
Well thank you! I am sure she would love to share it. It is her own pattern. Send me an email and I'll see what I can do.
@@CorneliusQuiring ok will do😊
I have seen you around Instagram and thought "that's a very Mennonite sounding name". So weird to see other Mennonite people in the wilds of the internet.
it really is :)
Your mother is very pretty. Why or Did you leave the Mennonite community?
My mother is wonderful indeed!
@@CorneliusQuiring She also raised you well.
