am i the only 1 who thinks that only some of them are singing live while some others just lipsynching to precorded vocals? because the voices audio sounded different. some have very distinct live vocals while some blended really well with the music 🤔
Sullyon had to take the microphone to his mouth in the first second she started singing. Just like Heejin and Hyunjin at the end of their finals notes. If someone was on track, his voice would sound above the live one, not in a whisper like Heejin at the beginning, which happens when you have the microphone far away, because they are not sticking them to their mouth. This is why many idols use handheld microphones (especially bg), but this choreography is pure hands so they have to use these that move away quickly from their mouths, be serious All of them are singing live if you don't understand
the loona girls in this performance (aka heejin and hyunjin the 2jin duo) arent TIRED theyre just not trying to strain their vocal chords like please its just the way they sing and its just their style the overall performance feels a little bit out of a place but i think it's great they all tried their best. plus mnet always purposely makes teams with members that most likely wouldn't look suitable with each other. i love the performance either way!
Okay So, I heard all the fancams and analyzed everything. I will say- 1. Loona did sing live for many parts. Hear other recordings as well, you can clearly hear them sing. Ofcouse not the whole song, because they are very tired due to the ongoing world tour and continuous series of events since queendom. But their vocals still slay. 2. You may find Loona's voice a little different or feeble. That's because of the mics they are using. They are their world tour mics, different from Nmixx, also a little far away from their mouth. So, that's why sound quality is different. (Infact I find that Loona sound quality is better, (my opinion), as it makes many think that it is studio version). 3. So, If you think that Loona's voice here is too good to be live, then you should know that both Hyunjin and Heejin have stable vocals, and they are a 4 year old group, soloists before that, and totally capable of singing live like that. 4. Also, We need to understand that these girls have very different voices. If you hear Nmixx sing more loudly and Hyunjin a little lighter, you should know that her natural voice is like that. Its very swift as honey, she doesn't has a sharp voice with high pitch. Heejin's voice is deep, not high pitched again. 5. Now understand that I really liked all 4 members very much. Nmixx as a group overall has more vocal range and support, but I think Loona is not bad at all and always serves when it comes to vocals. Likewise, I think Loona are beast and more synchronized dancers, and then Nmixx is also good at dancing. So, every group have their own strong points. Lets appreciate them all. End of discussion. Do anyone really need to fight?

Right now loona are a lot more busier than nmixx since the loona girls haven't had a break since February and it is now August and even after August, they still won't have a break. Lots of loona members have gotten injured or their health has declined because of how badly overworked they are. Choerry member of loona had to sit out kcon since she wasn't fit to perform and member haseul had an arm cast which she took off just so she can perform. Other members including the 2 members Heejin and hyunjin who performed with kyujin and sullyoon were not feeling well during the tour. I just wish JYP don't overwork nmixx since they are notoriously known to overwork their idols specifically theirs girl groups.Also when loona were a rookie groups, 6/12 members were in school and yet they still went strong. Debuting young is common in Kpop and these idols need to learn how to deal with school and their idol life. This is one of the reasons why I don't like companies debuting kids still in school. Like hold on to them until they graduate and then debut them and if you didn't know loona are also known to sing live almost all of the time, like during their concerts and music shows loona sing over the loud backtracks which are so annoying tbh like do you have to make that loud. I appreciate nmixx for their abilities despite being such a young group. They will be deadly in the future.

Just because the My Teenage Girls were competing for main vocals and the girls in this competition are not main vocals doesn’t mean anything. Jimin and Boeun are around the same vocal skill wise as Heejin, Kyujin, and Sullyoon. Heejin and Sullyoon played it safe by not doing some of the high notes but they are smart vocalists and know their limitations.

5. Now understand that I really liked all 4 members very much. Nmixx as a group overall has more vocal range and support, but I think Loona is not bad at all and always serves when it comes to vocals. Likewise, I think Loona are beast and more synchronized dancers, and then Nmixx is also good at dancing. So, every group have their own strong points. Lets appreciate them all.

Yes mate.!!! I noticed the tour mics too. And I can clearly hear them singing live at many places, even though those different mics and quality. I've seen their world tour live performances, and thus know these are live vocals.

@@natleon 5/7 are still in high school and they have been preparing for an upcoming show and a comeback on 9/16. All idols are busy, Nmixx just love to make sure they are heard over the backtrack.

Right now loona are a lot more busier than nmixx since the loona girls haven't had a break since February and it is now August and even after August, they still won't have a break. Lots of loona members have gotten injured or their health has declined because of how badly overworked they are. Choerry member of loona had to sit out kcon since she wasn't fit to perform and member haseul had an arm cast which she took off just so she can perform. Other members including the 2 members Heejin and hyunjin who performed with kyujin and sullyoon were not feeling well during the tour. I just wish JYP don't overwork nmixx since they are notoriously known to overwork their idols specifically theirs girl groups.Also when loona were a rookie groups, 6/12 members were in school and yet they still went strong. Debuting young is common in Kpop and these idols need to learn how to deal with school and their idol life. This is one of the reasons why I don't like companies debuting kids still in school. Like hold on to them until they graduate and then debut them and if you didn't know loona are also known to sing live almost all of the time, like during their concerts and music shows loona sing over the loud backtracks which are so annoying tbh like do you have to make that loud. I appreciate nmixx for their abilities despite being such a young group. They will be deadly in the future.

And mind you they have to prepare different performances for those Kcons. They made a remake a song last month with an mv. They're coming back on Sept. 9 so they must've been busy preparing/shooting/practicing for it too. They have this little variety which they surely shoot just recently, a magazine shoot, and mixxtapes. Now who's not busy??? They did well, but I just wish if they were gonna do this song they gave it to the main vocals, cause it’s such a powerful song and the girls just don’t add that power. An example of a good cover is the one they did on ‘my teenage girl’ it’s disappointing for me because they could’ve shone with any other song but with a song like this it’s hard to give it justice
Just because the My Teenage Girls were competing for main vocals and the girls in this competition are not main vocals doesn’t mean anything. Jimin and Boeun are around the same vocal skill wise as Heejin, Kyujin, and Sullyoon. Heejin and Sullyoon played it safe by not doing some of the high notes but they are smart vocalists and know their limitations.
@@lunab3004 I’m not saying they’re not as good as the girls who sang for my teenage girl. You can have two vocalists at the same level and they can have different styles of singing. In this case with this particular song, it needs powerful vocals and belting to reach its full potential. It is not the kind of song you play it safe with. Nmixx and Loona did well but I’m saying their tones would’ve been suited better to another song.

Sing for 2 hours straight basically every day for a week and then go perform this. There's a reason musical performers take vocal rest before a big performance. A vocalist needs to rest. Otherwise you'll damage your stability.
Loona has a tour for past weeks & until now and you want them to be exhausted then you should definitely try having a tour every week without a rest.
