Hey Grant just wanted to say I’ve enjoyed watching your videos, love to see you and BDS together, my two fav channels, what a day today is, I’ve watched you in this video, then the match w Dan Rapaport, then a video with your 10 best shots of the year then the BustaJack Graduation vid, that’s 4 GHG videos in one day. What a treat!!!
The fact that Grant can get along so great with the boys when he doesn't necessarily have all the same interests like gambling and boozing really says something. Great episode boys.
@@michaelallen2501that’s what I Love about Golf. I play with people that I would otherwise never say more than two words to, and still have a great time! We exchange numbers and 90% of the time never talk again… because golf would be the only real reason to hang out again. I especially like the older golfers with the good stories.
I don't watch you guys to laugh at bad shots. I watch you guys for the vibes and banter. And I'd happily watch the journey of Bob and Joey improving their game. It can't happen in a vacuum and have you show up one video striping it. Film the journey. All of it.
@@KodieJames13 I like where they are now as well. It is more relatable to someone like me who has played golf their entire lives, but only a round or two a year as a scramble with the boys. But watching a stripefest with all the boys (and not just FP) would be awesome as well.
Bob... you're not THAT bad. I shot even par through 9 this year and also had an entire week where I hit 4" behind the ball, followed by a week of topping the ball straight into mother earth.
When Joey hit that drive to the left out of the park and then came back laid his club down and said “that’s right where I was aiming!” I almost choked on my lunch I was laughing so hard. Don’t worry about the bad shots. They are great content. You guys are hilarious
Grant really is the picture of consistency, not really much more to say other than I wish I had his game. Joey D stacks every bad shot on his back and carries it throughout the round, the burden is so heavy after 5 or 6 holes that it's impossible to recover, he needs to learn to forget the last shot and have confidence over his next. Every next shot is an opportunity Joe, unless you go in expecting to fail, then you're doomed. Bob is bipolar, he'll hit a shot like Scottie Scheffler then hit one like Charles Barkley. I feel your pain brother. FP's game just a little off, his irons are putting him outside his putting range, those things are cyclical, he'll come back around.
I have literally shot +4 on 9 holes and the next day -5 on 18 and backed it with a -6 on 18 the day after following that with +3 on 9. It's golf man. You can never beat this game. Only play it. Once I realized that. It clicked for me and I just try to enjoy the round. And I did start playing better overall golf.
The BDS guys are such a relatable group of guys for most golfers, and I think that's why some people complain about them trying to get better. They're afraid that they won't be able to relate to the funny group they love watching. That being said, I think more people would love to watch them improve, and I'd even go as far as to say that it could actually inspire a lot of mediocre golfers to get out there and fix their swing. It's also nice seeing that FP and Grant understand the advantage that the guys have over the regular golfer and I think it's awesome they're telling them to take advantage of it. FP is absolutely right about most golfers only having one or two days a week to play, it's hard for most to get out and hit the range when you're just getting off work, and not having the extra budget to go south and play golf during the winter for those of us in the north.
It felt nice to get the insights of Grant and FP on the golf swing. Bobby and Cutsy make this channel thrive cause we can relate to the struggles that most of us have with our game. Only up from here though! The BDS faithful will tune in regardless 🤝
Video idea : Bob and cuts get a lesson. Dont practice all week and play nine. Do it again next week but grind at the range and play nine again and compare the results.
Golf is one of the most frustrating sports there is. One day you’re fabulous, the next you’re terrible. It plays with your mind, and saps your confidence. Rest assured by sharing your pain and frustrations with the BDS fans so candidly, it helps us. We can all relate to the highs and lows. And it will make precisely zero difference to the popularity of your videos if your collective games improve. Just make the challenges/matches harder, handicaps lower. BDS must continue to evolve in any case. Common traits of every good golfer? Hard Work! You got this, and we got your back 👊
I’m all about you guys getting better. Your channel is awesome because you guys are real and the personalities are damn hilarious. Everything needs to evolve and your game can evolve too. Be an inspiration to all us other hacks trying to get better. You’ll still be entertaining and people will still laugh when you’re driving after taking fireball shots. I’ve been watching you guys since you conned Joey into playing The Links at Victoria. Keep evolving keep grinding
I would love to unpack Joe’s comment about him playing “high level sports” when he was younger. That is something we need to get to the bottom of immediately
Joe makes a solid point. You might play worse on camera not because of "people are going to watch this", but rather because of all the time between shots--to set up cameras and such. Nothing ices me up and makes me play worse than slow play and having to wait 5-10 minutes on a tee box.
Fun to see Nick so involved in the conversation, because he is talking virtually equal to Grant and with a person who loves and knows the game like he does. Great discussion.
I feel for Bob and Joey on the mental side. When you dedicate that much time to something, and commit so much of your life to it, and still suck, it's tough man. Golf slumps should be covered by healthcare.
This was so cool to hear what goes through FP and Grants head as Bob and Joey are setting up to hit the ball. I’ve always wondered why we didn’t see them give more pointers. Because even to my eye I see Bob making the same mistakes sometimes and I’m no where near the golfer Grant or FP is. So I can only imagine what goes through their head. If you guys read this, I just want to thank you. I love watching the videos. Bad or good golf it doesn’t matter. You’re all enjoyable characters that’ll always garner the attention of others. Cheers!
Joey, whoever said they think you improving would be a detriment to the channel, BULL SHIT! Some people are terrible at heart, and you guys shouldn't wear their negativity. That being said, I do love the semi-melt downs!!! :-)
It's about muscle memory, Bob. Falling back into old swings/routines murders your game. Learn from lessons, but gotta make those changes permanent through practice.
FP talking about not commenting on the tee is the exact opposite what my friend group does. We make sure to get as much shit talking and pointers on the tee as possible, it's hilarious!
Something to consider for Bob & Joey - I found it SO much easier to get myself to practice once I put a net and SkyTrack in the garage. A couple of minutes to set the net up and I can hit 15 or 20 balls in between doing other stuff. Do that every day for a little while and you'll improve faster than the once a week range then golf game pattern FP was talking about. Not only that, but you start getting data on your swing. It's an investment for sure, but I've found it to be invaluable.
Im a 14 handicap but I always shoot 87-92. Best round ever is 85 ive shot 2x but my scores stay consistent. The issue for me is just slowly making changes and not staying stubborn in my swing. Form leads to inconsistency so much like they say (1.5 years in)
I invented sensors for your hat, gloves, and shoes that triangulates the body’s position and posture to get the golfer into position at address every time. It’s a great way to develop muscle memory. The other best trick I use is to laminate a cheat sheet and turn it into a bag tag or put it in your yardage book.
So garret and Kendrick said they would be well up for BDS as the only 3 ball scramble at the RUclips love event. Imagine Joey D banging drives, FP stuffing irons and bobby Bagels making putts, they could be a threat.
Actually talking about golf was awesome. Not that I dislike the random tangents that usually make up the podcast but it was interesting to hear how you judge your current games.
Thanks for having me boys
you earned my respect i didn't take you as a fisherman type .. Was my first love now its being neglected trying to learn to golf 🤣🤣
You brought out the best in them. Great hearing FP get cerebral with you and be able to b.s. too. This was absolutely great!
Need a fishing video from Grant and the boys. That would be a banger! All the boys out on a boat.
Please don't look at their food, travel and housing bills....not sure you need this. You are doing great as is...just sayin....

Grant is very boring
Grant is the most interesting guy there.By far.@@jamesscott1793
If it wasn't for golf they'd literally have absolutely nothing to talk about lol. I like Grant but he's about as exciting as mowing grass.
How do you know this?@@michaelallen2501

Yeah the amount of guys that are here because they suck is by far a minority of guys. They’re just loud and always say it.
@@mac88412 the obnoxious minority.
The group getting better wouldn't kill the channel. I would love to see Cutsy get better with his wedges and Bob being able to get off the tee box.
Literally same. I would love to see them all get better. I would love to see them do more tournaments tbh

100% agree
This would be iconic.
Exactly. They're still gonna mis-hit shots. But it won't be inevitable and it won't ruin their mood before they even take the club back (bunkers).
Hearing FP and Grant talk swing mechanics is sooooo good. I could listen to them talk this all day.
FP showing how much he knows about golf is fun to listen to. Going with grant swing for swing.
The boys need a Nashville trip planned when they get out of winter. Hot chicken challenge. Joey singing karaoke on Broadway. Has to happen.
I could listen to FP and Grant talk golf for hours. Would be a great podcast on its own, their knowledge of the game is a treat to listen to
FP really lit up here getting to chat about the nitty gritty of golf with Grant. You can tell he was excited to talk shop
The ticket coming in for the refrigerator at the end, looking like an absolute unit, was the best!😂
Definitely got to get cutsy to straighten that lead arm. The man wraps the club around his neck like its a tie
That would solve so many of his issues. He still does it to this day lol
Have not watched a second of this yet and I can already tell this is going to be a banger..
Bob... you're not THAT bad. I shot even par through 9 this year and also had an entire week where I hit 4" behind the ball, followed by a week of topping the ball straight into mother earth.
Would love to see the boys do like a breaking series. That’d be awesome to watch.
You are right it is content gold
That’s it we needs a BDS casino night video now so we can watch cutsy work his magic at the craps table!!!!

You absolutely nailed Joe's biggest problem.
This felt like an intervention for Bob and Cutsy 😂
Bob and Cuts, In the bunker imagine a 4" square around your ball and hit all the sand out of the square. Might help.
“You have to give up control to gain control” - best golf advice I have ever gotten.
Joey - I've said it before, you're a fantastic advert for the CB wedges.
Your short game has come on a million miles since getting those.

“The fattest group on RUclips waddles around a golf course” would be the best title of all time
I would love to unpack Joe’s comment about him playing “high level sports” when he was younger.

He played a bit of Junior A and university hockey in Canada. He was a goalie.
Bob played D1 baseball too

Grant becoming his own entity is the best thing that has happened to golf. Thank you boys!
"Isn't he from CNN???" lmaoooooooooooo
Now I just want to see Joey Da chase his dream of singing on a stage for thousands of people.
It's about muscle memory, Bob. Falling back into old swings/routines murders your game. Learn from lessons, but gotta make those changes permanent through practice.
Thiic Tick going to the fridge killed me.

Never hated a god damn intervention! Great pod boys!
Should try to get Ron Chopper Golf on. He would fit right in with your group vibe. Love the content still always great to watch
Off topic but that hammerhead comment from the baseball game is an all timer
Haha Tick had to make that appearance sweeping through at the last second
Love the ticket cameo in the back ground like thank fuck these guys are finishing up I can finally get some water
Insane how much Perez knows about golf man, you could tell him and grant are just bouncing off of each other.
the cameo from ticket at the end of the pod was more needed than you know, gotta get the whole gang involved. Stay golden Bobby Boy

Bob going straight Draymond Green from 6:21 to 6:53

Love me some Grant and BDS! Grants got the butteriest golf swing and tempo ive ever seen
What are Cutsy’s go to bets on craps? Gotta be betting the hard ways

the boss enters at 42:44
I got to say near the end I could have sworn I saw Sasquatch walk the the kitchen but in okay back it was just Ticket, false alarm
My favourite part of this podcast is when they all talk over each other and you can't hear anyone 🙂
Were gonna need a Joey D craps simulation table video asap
Perez had the perfect opportunity to say JETGPT 😂😂😂
The great intervention of bob and cutsy 😅
This is the good stuff, love the pod and the boys
love the end ribbing on Bob. dad bob
Jet: “you’ve just killed his dream, dude” 😂😂
The absolute best line of the podcast …BOB “ i putted into a bunker “
Bob and Cutsy losing to FP over and over is like when I would lose to my friend in Halo 2 constantly lol
If it ain’t Bobby Bad Audio, I don’t want it.
Corner seat is tough on the man pouch
I'm sure there's a reason but, why are these pods so short? They are literally the best but 43 mins with Grant I feel like we need 2 hours.
