I do not think that you will get higher rated opponents with this time control. You might have to switch to 10+0 at higher ratings. Anyway, good series!
@@thinboxdictator6720 but it might be justified due to a possible early overextension of the white queen side pawns. I did no analysis and I dont play this defense but maybe it’s ok.
@@lucasmatsuoca I don't know this nor play this line at all,but stuff like this is usually tempo game. yea,it might be justified in some cases,but at that point 2:10 he still had bishop on f8 so it's basically Bf8-d6 vs a6 in that position,with b4 a5 next I don't see how developing the bishop could be worse than losing a tempo. of course there might be some engine line,but with this reasoning I wouldn't go for a6 over Bd6

Because of you I started using chessbook as well and became a chessbook junkie, covering every small hole in my repertoire😂 I was wondering whats wrong with Nb6-Nc5 plan in the position 26:44. Seems it saves you a tempo compared to position you ended up saving to your repertiore as the knight is ready to jump to c4 straight away. Or in position 27:58 take exc5 and then Nc4.
Why didn’t you consider b4 after a3? It’s the second most common in the masters database and the most intuitive move to me as you will likely get c5 easily after it
