Emotion overload, Babymetal are big fans of Metallica, they opened for them in South Korea 2017. Su-metal being reborn as a metal goddess on her 16th birthday, how epic is that!
The American metal band, Galactic Empire, got invited to be an opening band for Babymetal in Japan. They had a great time, and their guitarist Chris Kelly said: "The BABYMETAL crew has been, hands down, the most amazing, hospitable and accommodating crew we have ever worked with, and their live show is something truly incredible. The talent and work ethic of everyone involved is, in my experience, absolutely unparalleled. Every band, every crew, every show should aspire to match their level of greatness." The guitarists and bassist of Galactic Empire later became members of the Western version of the Kami band who were the backing band for Babymetal's last US tour.
Su having a conversation with classmates.... Classmate 1 says, "For my sweet 16th birthday, we had a party and I had my first kiss". Classmate 2 says, "for my 16th birthday, my parents got me a car." Su replies, "For my 16th birthday I got crucified, died, and became worshipped as goddess with 10,000 people bowing to me......" The two classmates bow their head in defeat and sheepishly walk away.
You know, I live in a conservative catholic town. If there were a show with a decapitated Virgin Mary statue and a teenager girl being crucified it would have been a scandal. Babymetal are pretty based. This was epic. I love it.
Not bad for a band that some people say aren't real metal. If that performance of Babymetal Death isn't enough to change their minds, then I don't know what will. Metal music has many forms and Babymetal have created their own metal genre, Kawaii Metal. This might not be everyone's cup of tea, some may not like it, but you have to respect Babymetal's level of performance, commitment to their craft, and their incredible stage presence for one 16 year old and two 15 year old girls. Masterful. I don't think Babymetal have ever topped this performance in a theatrical sense. However, their staging and lighting have improved to levels beyond this and are equal to, or better than, any act on the world stage today.
@@Inosuke_Hashibira75 I wholeheartedly agree. The Legend S performance of In The Name Of is spectacular as well, but for me it doesn't have the same shock value of Babymetal Death at Legend 1997. However, I will concede that I believe the production values were higher at Legend S, largely because of a bigger budget, improved technology during the intervening years and a higher focus on set design and staging as Babymetal got bigger. I am happy for people to have their favorites and as I have said, both are absolutely awesome.
Used to get pissed off because of baby metal but as you said only because it’s not my cup of tea doesn’t mean no one should enjoy it. Also who decides what’s metal or not, its such a big genre with sub genres that sound nothing alike for example Deicide, Blasphemy, Darkthrone and Korn don’t Sound in any aspect alike but they still are all considered metal.
This was Su-metal's 16th birthday concert. They stepped up the production for her 20th birthday concert, "Legend S", especially for the song "in The Name Of". Epic reaction!🤘🦊🤘
Crying, laughing, and being moved, this is what BABYMETAL is all about. That is enough. I enjoyed your reaction. Thank you so much from Japan. However, BABYMETAL didn't start out spending a lot of money on stage production either. Before this Legends 1997 show, in the Legend IDZ and Legend 1999, the venues and the production were gradually enlarged. And after this Legend 1997, it leads to the Budokan live 2Days in March 2014.
33:30 Man you don't have idea how many people (Christians, Catholics...) we have to answer on the comments of this video every week, you really get the point. There's always a notification from that one with people calling this blasfemia and shit
Tearing up ? I glad to hear I'm not the only one. Haha. It's hard to stop when watching and listening to BABYMETAL. I saw them in Seattle last night because they skipped us in Portland this year. Oh well, good show, of course. The Seattle show was my warm-up for a Japan show in a couple of years. Dethkol opened, and they kicked my ass, but then BM made it all better. Ty gals, you were so awesome . Very much pros! Momometal looked like she was having fun. Always smiling.
Maybe no one has ever mentioned this, but I feel its incredible that one of the biggest drawing acts in the world , has done this , with *little or no airplay on FM radio!* Seems next to impossible, but they did it !
We don't get them on any commercial radio station here in Australia, but this can be expected as they do sing in Japanese, and without the visuals, it won't make for great radio. Babymetal is a visual band, and perhaps the best in the world at doing that at this time.
Excellent reaction, I really enjoyed that thank you. This is just one of the things they do that make BABYMETAL one of the very best live acts in the world and why they have won awards to say that is the case. There can't be many bands who would crucify their lead singer on stage to celebrate her 16th birthday. There is a translation of the intro video in the description (or it is on another upload of this performance, this one may have had subtitles added, I'm not sure) which would have helped a bit (perhaps) with understanding what was happening: "Legend 1997. (referring to the year of Su's birth) It is told that receiving the legendary neck brace from the god of Metal, she shall abandon her human life and be reborn as a goddess. The bloodline which has been passed down from ancient times is destined to be the guide, boarding the ark of time. The apocalypse is prophesied DOOMSDAY comes There remains... little time.." Basically, as you sort of got but maybe not the precise details, this show was the final step in BABYMETAL transitioning from Idol group sub-unit (it had this narrative running all the way through and even started with a lip-synced dance remix of their song 'Headbanger') to independent metal band - it was also Su-metal's final step in her transition from J-Pop Idol - she was sacrificing her human existence and life as Suzuka Nakamoto, a J-Pop Idol, to be reborn as Su-metal, a Metal Goddess chosen to lead the Metal Resistance. 'BABYMETAL Death' was the first track on the first album and was most often used as the show opener (without the crucifixion). It is the perfect introduction - that is what the lyrics are:- "B-A-B-Y-M-E-T-A-L Death Death Death Death Death Death. Su-metal death. Yuimetal death. Moametal death. BABYMETAL Death. Death Death Death Death Death Death." It is a play on words. There is no 'TH' sound in Japanese, so to a Japanese speaker death sounds like desu (the U is silent) spoken with a slight lisp. Desu means "To be - I am - you are - we are - it is" etc ... so in Japan you might introduce yourself as "David Heretic desu" (I am David Heretic). All they were doing throughout the song was introducing themselves by name and introducing BABYMETAL by name - and 'death' is just the sort of thing you'd expect to be chanted by any self respecting metal band and their audience while the lead singer is crucified. As you know and saw there were a couple of homages in this performance too. The opening drum riff is an homage to Metallica's 'One' and the statue crumbling at the end, you were absolutely right, pays homage to Metallica's Justice For All tour of 1989 where they also had a statue (Lady Justice) crumble at the end of their shows. The neck brace, also as you were made aware, is a tribute to X Japan drummer/pianist/songwriter/composer Yoshiki who damaged his neck so badly headbanging that he has to wear a neck brace a lot of the time, especially when performing. On special occasions 'BABYMETAL Death' was used later in the show - Legend 1997 was the title of the show celebrating Su-metal's 16th birthday ... and they only crucify Su on special occasions. So far that has happened 5 times (plus a couple more in the shows at the Budokan they played earlier last year), the last before those was at Legend S in December 2017 to help her celebrate her 20th birthday - and that one had extra flames. Did I mention? #notacult They have continued to step up the production every year. I would recommend a reaction for the opening for the Legend S Baptism XX concerts in December 2017 in Hiroshima - Su-metal's 20th birthday celebration in her home town Hiroshima - the song is 'In The name Of', but it has to be that particular performance.
Another vote for "In the Name Of". This was early in their career and it is fantastic. Later though they had bigger budgets and some of the In the Name Of performances are un believable - like the 3 headed fox stage being pulled by a team of fox warriors.
I agree, ITNO from Legend S is the most epic scene I have ever seen, and I'm not just talking about BABYMETAL. Unfortunately, it's not easy to find and pretty certain to get blocked.
This is the first track off their first album. While it is the closer here, traditionally it was their opener. If you didn’t catch the lyrics. It starts with the crowd spelling out BABYMETAL. Then you get each girl saying their name (“Su-metal Des, Yui-Metal Des, Moa-Metal Des, BABYMETAL Des!”) followed by the death chant. Simple and effective
It's legend 1997. The story is that she had to give up her Idol teenage life to became a metal Goddess. It's Babymetal concert with highest energy from the Band and the audience imo. You have to watch the full show at this point 😂😂😂🤘
I think Babymetal is an amazing crossbreed between metal and Japanese unique idol production. Japan enjoys the world's 2nd largest music market, which is dominated by idol groups now, to drive all kinds of subculture initiatives. Actually the three girls were also trained and grouped under an idol institution, as a fun side project mimic the famous anime about girl bands called "K-On". In the meantime, you have all the monster musicians nurtured through the golden years of bands, ready to release some steam... The chemistry just took off. And totally agree, this demonstrated the value of production! Thanks for reacting and sharing this.
16 and 15 yr old girls.. its amazing. How can you not luv it... Riff's .. especially the countdown at the start.. and buildup when she is on the cross... who crucifies a 16 yr old on stage??.. I LUV BABYMETAL!!!
Outstanding reaction and analysis, thanks! All the "Legend 1997" concert is an allegory about BABYMETAL transitioning from a pop idol sub-unit to a legit metal band. And Su-metal's sacrifice as a human and idol to reborn as a metal goddess is the final piece. And yes, this is the proper way to end a show that deserves to be called a "show".
There is no "th" sound in standard Japanese so foreign words with "th" are pronounced with an "s" sound. The standard way you introduce yourself in Japanese is to say "my name"-desu (pronounced without the final "u" in the standard dialect, although outside of Tokyo region, it might be pronounced "desoo") so it was noticed early in Babymetal's career that there was a clever wordplay with the member's self-introductions and the very metal word "Death!"
Hello! Well, hehe now you can understand more about "What makes Babymetal special", I've always said (and almost all fans do) if you only listen to Babymetal, you're losing half or more of what the band can offer, you must see/watch them live and there, you will understand why we love them and admire them so much, in each and every one of their concerts they give everything (even at concerts the girls have gotten hurt or have extreme fatigue) , and the Kami band does the same they are awesome, every person involved are great and give us unforgettable concerts. That's why 3 years ago, When I discovered the band, they became one of my favorites of all time, I've been listening to metal for over 15 years and I haven't known a band like them. Love your reaction! greetings from Mexico /o/
Unfortunately, it's been just over 8 years past already. Time flies!!! I totally agree 1000% that some people asking a question of "If you got a time machine, what you goona do?" The answer definitely is to go to a BABYMETAL concert, either "Legend 1997", or "Budokan Red Night/Black Night", or "2015 Legend Fox New Year Festival", or "2017 Big Fox Festival" p.s. Great reaction & thank you for the appreciation. I hope one day in the future , you end up reacting "Syncopation", I think you would enjoy the song very much.
Babymetal is definitely a creative/interesting band and they are definitely more of a LIVE band. In the studio the producer wants a lot of processing to capture that pop feel but during live shows, the sound is more raw and not so edited. Su and even the other two girls if you see them do solo performances are amazing singers and it’s greatly displayed live. (Even though there’s not really any singing in this one but that’s not what this one was about) They put a lot of heart and soul into their performances and they love to connect with their audience. I really hope you can see one of the other two girls, (moa and yui ) solo performances where they took the lead on headbanger or there special birthday songs. Cause they are talented singers as well. I just wish the studio recordings were not so processed because I don’t think they need it at all, but they are definitely something special live.
No shame, Dave. Many of us have been reduced to a blubbering mess while watching and listening to BM. For me, No Rain No Rainbow at Baptism XX show was one. And then there was that MV of The One (Stairway to Living Legend) when it was hinted the girls were leaving us. That broke my heart.
There's a lot of symbolism going on here, all about where the band was at that time and where they were going. Other commenters will fill you in on most of it, I'm going to focus on this being BABYMETAL's transformation song. The band has a delightfuly silly mythology about the girls and the KAMI being selected by the Fox God to spread heavy metal around the world. When the band members take the stage, they stop being Suzuka, Yui and Moa. They are possessed by the heavy metal spirits and become SU-METAL, YUIMETAL and MOAMETAL. This song was usually played at the beginning of their concerts and it's the moment when they transform. SUMETAL DESU! is like saying 'I AM SU-METAL!', which is like the anime trope when a character transforms into a super-hero, like Sailormoon's 'Moon Prism Power....MAKE UP!' In interviews, the band often referred to this as a real thing, like they would play-act at it being real, and they would let themselves think they were becoming someone else. I remember seeing someone talking about watching them rehearsing for their collab with Rob Halford and they said 'but they weren't really BABYMETAL yet'. I think it might have been one of the reasons that they were able to be so fearless on stage when they were younger.
It's okay to cry. Many of us had felt the same while watching this clip. 1000 percent crazy. What you have missed is that the song starts with the bridge from Metallica's One... which is a song about a soldier wishing for death... and this song is the number one track on BABYMETAL's number one album and it is called DEATH. She did not die on the cross. She collapsed and died on the stage and then was put on the cross to be resurrected. She ended being a j-pop idol and was reborn as a metal Queen. The Fox God resurrected her. The statue and its collapsing also represent the end of her former being as a j-pop IDOL. "BM - Intro to Legend S:Baptism XX" is a show opening for her 20th birthday that will make you cry too, especially if you know Sepultura. Look for the video that's 11:32 long, it will feel like 2 minutes.
I will be waiting to see you react to BABYMETAL - "No Rain No Rainbow"- live in Hiroshima ... Su's awesome singing ... and a wonderful rock-ballade ...
This has got to be one of the greatest Babymetal reactions I've seen and I've watched a ton of them. Just started watching some of your BM reactions today and this is so good David, thank you for this. Most reactors just smile, laugh, say oh wow thats cool or neat, thanks for watching, hit the buttons, cya next time. This shows how much passion and appreciation you have for music and a great PERFORMANCE, wish more reactors were like this. I have laughed and teared up so many times watching this with you. This is one of the few reaction videos I will be saving and coming back to watch multiple times over the years when I want to smile. Babymetal music is great to me, listen to it all the time, but BM live is unbelievable and another level. I really hope I get to see them live in the next couple years, just became a fan of them in 2023. So sad I missed out on 10 years of this amazing group, better late than never I guess. Thanks again for making great videos and being a true fan of music and appreciating BM for being amazing performers. So glad I discovered your channel and can't wait to watch all your videos! 🦊🤘
I think of all the Babymetal concerts I would have liked to have been at, this would be at the top of my list. This was the first concert that they really amped up the production values and I don't think anyone expected an ending like that.
Even though this was the show ender, BabyMetal uses this song as a opener for shows back then because they are basically introducing themselves to the audience You should watch the performance from Legend S at Hiroshima Su's 20th birthday The only bad thing is it was the first show without Yui, which leads to the dark year of BabyMetal
Lol.. The videos has been shared multiple times... 🤣🤣🤣🤣. BMD signifies Suzuka Nakamoto's metamorphosis to be Queen Su, Queen of Metal. Another smashing reaction as usual David. Shared as usual.... Thank you for this 🍻🍻🍻🍻🍻🍻🍻🍻🍻 #notacult
Mr Heretic, you and me are the one in the same man. Watching this was refreshing. I just discovered baby metal a few months ago. I thought I was the only person on this planet that cried after first seeing this video. Im with you on the crowd control, the production etc....amazing. I'm old school like you, hence the #'s in my username. The main thing that made me cry was the fact that metal has always been stigmatized by regular folks/media etc who just don't get it. So like you said, to see the fans all doing it, to ultra agressive metal music, the production and being directed by young girls (asian too) of all people, in unity like a group of collective friends, is ground breaking to me and made me cry. Because it proves that even metal music can break all barriers of age, gender, ethnicity, kids, adults, cats/dogs and touch anyones soul and spirit if given the chance.
Great reaction. Still can't believe you have not reacted to me, their best song: *BABYMETAL - Ijime,Dame,Zettai - Live at Sonisphere 2014,UK (OFFICIAL)* U WILL CRY 5 TIMES!!!!😭
You absolutely never disappoint with your reactions, and this one is absolutely stellar. Babymetal Death is one of those songs that BM fans know will get a good reaction out of people, but they need to be acclimated to the band first otherwise its such a WTF factor that it gets a bit missed. I know when i first saw this performance, i was absolutely in awe. I've thoroughly enjoyed watching your Babymetal journey, i saw your schedule has a reaction for The One coming up. I kind of hope whatever was recommended gave you Tales of the Destinies as well for the intro to The One.
This show is from their earlier days so you can easily see, how BabyMetal quickly became known for their live shows. The Japanese shows they pull out all the stops but BabyMetal have performed spectacular shows in London and in LA. In Japan, Christianity is not held in the reverence as it is in the west, so there would not of been much hesitancy in adding the crucifixion to the show. Others have explained about why Su was crucified and the meaning of the song and how it was used for an introduction song on earlier live shows. As you have stated the brilliance of the lighting, the stage effects, music and never forget the backing to come in perfectly to make the deep scream Su mimes, all take the showmanship to another level. Out of the reactions I have seen from you, no one has received a 9.5 score apart from BabyMetal with 9.7. Not a bad way to spend your sixteenth birthday! Thank you for review and peeling way too many onions. 😄
@@THEDavidHeretic Although I am a Nightwish fan and also Within Temptation, to name the two main symphonic metal bands I have appreciated, I have not seen any of your Nightwish reaction/reviews.
One of the points you made is the reason I really like this song. The ability of this band to unify the entire crowd and point them in a direction is astounding. But to me this is the good part, and this is just my take, but in this song it feels like the the whole band is unified even more than usual. Because the girls don't really have lyrics, they step back just a little so the focus is just a little off them, and the kami's do what they do best. Su's presence alone dominates the arena, and with nothing more than her introducing herself she unleashes her kami's and her generals to show us all how to control a crowd.
David, you made us feel like a proud father for BM. Been with you with your journey of getting to know them and I had low-key hope that if you just give them a chance , there's a huge chance these girls will get to you. It's been a roller coaster of emotions. And you did, and everytime you did, we are grateful. Imagine dropping them judging from the few reactions you did with them, you might not have the chance to experience what made us love the band :')
Gradually pulling back the threads on this band's stage presence and overall metal vibe. I'm really impressed. Reactions like this one help a lot to convert me, and reading the explanations behind this give it a lot more meaning and depth. Awesome video.
I can’t believe this is the same band I just shot in Denver at the Fillmore. What an epic epic show, band… everything. They could have sold out a much bigger venue, no question.
Babymetal have a lot of x japan influence, they are actually Friends with yoshiki, there is a birthday message from babymetal to yoshiki were they talk about how they respect x japan for what they have done for the japanese metal scene in the past.
I love that you are not only not afraid to feel emotion when it catches you, but you are also not afraid to show it. Too many men (in particular) have been taught over the years by society to be as hard as nails no matter what, and this causes serious mental anguish and even suicide from the social pressure on us. It took me too long to realise this, and it nearly cost me my life. BABYMETAL, along with Amaranthe, went a long way to helping me through some of the darkest times, especially when I was alone. I would put on an album and cry my way through it - the same emotions and feelings you've shown here hit me every time. It's so refreshing to see. Please don't ever stop feeling those emotions, and don't ever hide them. You are doing wonderful things for men's (in particular) mental health by leaving this in and allowing us to feel it with you. Thank you, brother!
Excellent reaction. “BaByMeTaL iSnT mEtAl!” I’ve been waiting for you to react to this and you didn’t disappoint. This is one of the most metal performances, I’ve ever seen. 🤘🦊🤘
I’ve cried during many Babymetal performances, some still make me cry. I’ve never cried during this performance, but I absolutely understand why you did. Babymetal are a performance band. The albums are good but where they excel is their live performances. I look forward to your reaction to Tales of the Destinies. They’ve only played it live once!
Nice reaction. I was a little nervous to see you making a reaction video on this one, Because there is not really no singing in this one. But you did see the beauty of the show GOOD JOB. But be careful if you are exposed to too much off BABYMETAL. You'll will get HOOKED and you will become a TRUE FAN 😊
Man... Babymetal are something else and I'm so glad I found them. Only on BM concert you can see a 16 years old girl get crucifix and crowd chant death and jump. Great reaction.
Great reaction David! If I have read correctly, the name is basically a presentation of the band - according to what I have read the word "desu" (which kinda sounds like death) means am/is so basically they are saying "I am Sumetal I am Yuimetal, I am Moametal - We are BABYMETAL" and I think that's both a great way to introduce yourself, and it's a killer tune also.
I wish I had taken Music rather than History, at school! And I wish you were my Teacher! You have not only entertained me, you have also educated me. Music is my life! The way you explain the intricacies, of time signatures, chord changes, etc..... It has helped me appreciate all sorts of music. Thank you for that. You've improved my life, what higher praise could you have?🤗
The main reasons I used to love teaching was for what you just said, I made an impact on your life. There is no greater meaning in life for me, and there is no greater reward. Thank you for letting me know what I have done for you, I really and truly appreciate it.
David, I love your analysis and reaction videos. I say that before I let you know that I fell asleep one night watching your channel and woke up with your reaction to "Catch Me if you Can" on! I I've been a Babymetal fan ever since. I especially loved your reaction to this video. Thanks for your channel and the introduction to Babymetal.
this is why i love babymetal so much, their songs are more than just one or 2 peoples thoughts written on paper, their songs are a story of a spiritual battle of good and evil and how music can bring so many people together in unison, also you can hear their growth through their songs from the early days of give me chocolate to metal resistance, if you get a chance to see them live just do it you will not be disappointed
You did your job - a smile on my face even through the tears falling for not only your reaction but Su's ascension from young child/teenhood/Japanese idolhood to her true career destiny as a metal goddess as Babymetal also truly evolved from being the Heavy Music Club of Sakura Gakuin. As to mascara running, I think Su's emotions were really finally realizing she has left her artistic beginnings and moving on to the next stage of her life (and Yui and Moa to follow... well...)
The passion you show in your videos is so engaging. Honestly it brings my appreciation for metal to a whole new level. Please keep doing what you're doing. BTW, another astounding production by them is "In The Name Of", the opening song from Baptism XX. You'll love it.
Another easter egg you missed here was the riff from Metallica - One. And yeah X-Japan and Yoshiki, much respect to those living legends and past. The first time you will see the neckbrace tribute is during Headbangeeeeerrrrr!!!!! official MV, also the name of their very first headlining show at Rock May Kan was Legend Corset Festival in 2012, (corset is the other name they used for neckbrace) the same little gig where famous bands like X-Japan started. The Budokan 2014 live shows got also that name but with the "Extra" added and separated in Red and Black Night. Like you said lyrics is not the main focus here but if you were a BM fan back then it'll make totally sense these pun intended play words, since the girls used to said or introduced themselves like this when they were doing promotional and TV appearances, they used to said their names and they were taught to bite the tongue to pronounce the "th" correctly, at the end with the tongue out looking "kawaii" with a wink 😜🤘 "SuMetal desu" means "I'm SuMetal" but in the song they try to said "death". And yeah this is SuMetal 16th birthday, the hole concert round around Death and Rebirth and as you see, like never before, a jpop idol was sacrifice to be reborn as a METAL GODDESS, the Fox God has blessed all of us, praise an all hail to the Fox God 🦊🤘 The important day in Japan and other countries (like in Latinamerica) is 15 unlike 16 in your country, but this one was significant since that year was the last time with Sakura Gakuin, former main group and she and the group become independent from that group, althou the rest of the girls were still on it for a little more time. After watching this, how dare anyone to say "Babymetal isn't metal"? Love to see your tears of joy watching this, i think there's still more to watch and enjoy with this sensation but yeah, this one is phenomenal, and only for this, having the guts to do it, they deserve much respect even if you're not a BM fan. Kitsune up and always remember... NotACult 🦊🤘❤️
Incidentally, you were early on looking for the X Japan nod...and after the spaz crusification scene, the girls were 100% jumping and doing the X while jumping, no question about it. Its a nod.
The main reason the video has few views is that it is up multiple times. Probably taken down multiple times too. And now I really want to see your reaction to No Rain No Rainbow. And about the religious references: This show was done in Japan for a Japanese audience. I hear the Japanese are feeling differently about religion and religious references. So I doubt they worried about getting on religious groups bad side.
As a Metal fan it sometimes is not so easy to explain why y have to cry. And I always try to explain, why I cry to Abba. I thought this brillance is lost. And then there comes Babymetal. I laughed about them and didnt want to listen to this. But then I did and found myself crying. Now I am in the foxhole. Insane technique, the whole 'project' is not of this world. Thanks to some comments letting me understand. And next time Hetfield has to play as Opener 😊
Harrumph! EDIT: Just wanted to be clear in case someone actually reads this. The Harrumph was just for the "Mayor" in the intro. Love the channel, love this performance, love Babymetal, love spreading positivity. Just this morning, I had to stop watching the 2014 Sonosphere (sp?) performance of IDZ because we had a meeting at work coming up in 10 minutes and the first verse was bringing on a flood of tears. I think there are like 6 or 7 Babymetal songs I have to be careful with, lest I end up crying. TYVM for the reaction!
*BABYMETAL - LEGEND 1997 CONCERT*. Song: BABYMETAL DEATH. The monologue at the start is in Japanese. So hear is (The English Translation of the opening Monologue). "Legend One-Nine-Nine-Seven. It is the story that, receiving the legendary corset from the god of the Metal, she abandons being human and shall be reborn as a goddess. The gene which has been determined from ancient time is destined to be guided, boarding on the ark of time. The apocalypse prophesied the DOOMSDAY. Towards it, there remains… little time… BABYMETAL DEATH is normally the song that they would open a show with as all there are doing is introducing themselves and getting the crowd fired up and ready for the rest of the show. The lyrics start with the crowd spelling out "B - A - B - Y - M - E - T - A - L" then the girls tell us who they are "Su-metal desu (I am SU-Metal") , "Yuimetal desu (I am Yuimetal"), "Moametal desu (I am Moametal"), "BABYMETAL desu (we are Babymetal"), now this may look a little strange to you as when introducing themselves individually it is ("I am") yet when introducing themselves as a group it is ("we are"), lets explain that first thing when saying the word "desu" (the U is silent) so when Yui is introducing her self she says "Yuimetal des" but as Yui is saying the word "DES" at the end of saying it she will put her tongue between her teeth makeing a sound like "TH" so you get "Yuimetal des-th" and that put her tongue between her teeth makes the word "Des-th" mean (I am), now when they are introducing them selfs as a group they say "Babymetal des" but they don't put they tongue between her teeth at the end of the word "Des" this makes the word "Des" sound different and changes the meaning of it to (we are), there is one more word to the lyrics of this and that is the fans line or word in this song they are to chant "Des-th" but even that needs explaining nothing is ever easy with Babymetal, they like to play with things especially words there sounds and meanings they noticed that when introducing themselves in Japanese saying the word "Des-th" ("I am") it sounds very much like the English word "DEATH" they liked that so for the fans part in this song it would be in English to chant "DEATH" repeatedly, all so that is were they got the song title as well it is not just *DEATH* the song title is *BABYMETAL DEATH*.
Well that is it for the lyrics in this song they would do this twice then the music go's crazy good and the girls run around all over the stage interacting with the fans and geting them up on there feet bouncing and getting the fans chanting "Death Death Death Death Death Death" they would keep this going for a time ending up in one big chant from everyone of "BABYMETAL DEATH" a big explosion lot's of pyrotechnics end of introduction song everyone ready let the show begin.
But this time BABYMETAL DEATH was not played at the opening of the concert it was at the very end of the concert the last of a five song encore, so why move this song from the opening to the end of the concert, well the (LEGEND 1997 CONCERT) was a special one from the beginning to the end but we are not getting it to that now this is about one song in it and of course it had a special role to play in this concert but one all bye it's self, the concert was named LEGEND 1997 because that was the year SU-METAL was born on the 20/12/1997 this concert was on the 21/12/2013 the day after Su-metal's 16th birthday and as SU said once "this was her birthday party concert and that all the fans coming to her party to help her celibrate her 16th birthday was the best gift that she had received that year". So what was this songs role to be at this concert, well like it says in the opening monologue "receiving the legendary corset from the god of the Metal she abandons being human and shall be reborn as a goddess", now how did that work like this, the smoke that appears around SU's feet before she collapses was to put her to sleep, the crucifixion is the abandoning of being human but not before receiving the legendary corset (the neck brace), the scream her rebirth as a Goddess, and the chanting of "Death Death Death Death" with crossed kitsunes (the Fox sign) that is the army giving there Goddess her power, first Yui and Moa face the army and receive there power then they turn around and give that power to SU-Metal for she was never to be just a Goddess SU is a METAL GODDESS, she is our Queen, our Goddess. "All hail our QUEEN". "All hail The GODDESS of Metal". *SU-METAL*. Bye the way #NotaCult, most definitely #NotaCult and anyone claiming different will be dragged in front of your Goddess and thrown into the pit of frogs or if you catch her on a bad day she will just burn you. 🤘🦊🤘
Just a point of clarification (as a minister I think it’s my duty to be nitpicky if only just for fun) … it’s “crucifixion”. It would only be “crucification” if the Red Hot Chili Peppers did it. 😁 (Sorry, couldn’t resist.)
David, they are really something special, and I'm sure Su would be happy with your reaction. This concert is the day after Su's 16th birthday, and she is no longer in Sakura Gakuin. This performance represents the end of her j-pop idol career, and her resurrection as a metal goddess. If you think this show is epic and dramatic, you'll need a box of tissues for Legend S.
That show lasted an hour and a half. The band played half of the show. And most of the songs to react to, come from this show. As a catholic i don't feel offended, even in this concert, Ave Maria was sung with the girls on stage (they call it Ava Marie).
Well I've never seen anyone cry during BMD1997! Other songs, yes. As soon as someone discovers Babymetal, a bunch of people will say you must now watch BMD1997 because of the iconoclastic presentation is shocking. But people forget that they were shocked because they had watched other videos first and got to know the girls as young and inocent. Glad you held off so you could enjoy the video.
I’ve loved every minute of your Babymetal journey, from your very sceptical beginnings to this! Great reactions Dave, love this band so much! #mostdefinatelynotacult
GREAT JOB at recognizing the homage to Metallica's "...And Justice For All"!!! NO other reactor that I have watched has ever noticed it, and I have seen many many reactions to this video! I usually have to make a comment pointing it out! Also, Kobametal, their produce and the mastermind behind the group, is a HUGE lifelong Metallica fan. Months before the performance you just watched, BABYMETAL were at a music festival where Metallica were also performing. Per Loudersound article, "Babymetal were wearing ‘And Justice For Babymetal’ tribute t-shirts, which soon caught the band’s attention, and Lars ended up watching them play on the small Flower Stage. Later, the girls returned the favour by watching the headliners perform - and it was their first-ever metal show." Su-metal then said " I found it interesting that instead of hearing their music through my ears, I felt everything with my heart." In 2017, BABYMETAL opened for Metallica. Su-metal said in another interview, "“Metallica are like gods to us, I had been admiring them for a long time and dreamed to perform with them, so I never thought it would come true this fast!”" The article mentioned "Su-metal is particularly excited to see them play her favourite song, Master Of Puppets". 🤘🦊🤘
i get teared up also watching babymetal..to me its a combination of their devotion and conviction to their craft.. the pure talent from the kami band and the girls..its a pleasure to witness it
Excellent reaction!!!! But this song is nothing compared to "【BABYMETAL】 - Legend - S - 爆燃开场曲--In the name of". Please check it out. It´s EPIC! You will be wet puddle after seeing it!!! (KISS and RAMMSTEN should we be in awe!!!
i agree about putting on great show/performances- i love going to concerts, even of groups i don’t know for the experience. BUT the people i keep going to see again and again are the people who I KNOW are going to show me more than what i can just hear on the CD P.S. “the coolest reason to have neck surgery” LOL idk, something really funny about that sentence
RIP Dave Heretic. DEATH arrived for him... and he loved it! BabyMetal fans can certainly relate to that overwhelming emotion. Let there be no doubt about it, you really have become part of The One. Kitsune UP, sir! Those piggies can ham it up oinking all they want when you rewatch something. The Fox God shall bring home the bacon.
Yes ! Made my Day. I knew you would like it. I also started crying when i saw it the first time. When you started your reaction and you said just a few thousand views i thought oh shit he has the wrong Video. Thank God you got the right one. Greetings from Germany !
⚡ 💀 💕 / 💀 💀 💀 This song was used as their concert opener for quite a few years. Usually without the crucifixion. : ) I saw BABYMETAL open for Korn & Stone Sour in Chula Vista, CA back in 2017. The concert was on Yui's Birthday on June 20th. There were Korn fans on either side of me, who were expecting something called BABYMETAL to be pretty mellow. They opened with 'BABYMETAL Death'. : ) 'Legend 1997' is named for Su-metal's birth year. This concert was held December 21st, 2013, the day after her 16th birthday. This performance was unusual since it was used as the closing number. Here's a translation of the introduction: "It is the story that, receiving the legendary corset from the god of the Metal, she abandons being human and shall be reborn as a goddess. The gene which has been determined from ancient time is destined to be guided, boarding on the ark of time. The apocalypse prophesied the DOOMSDAY. Towards it, there remains… little time… (5) Are You (4) Ready to (3) (2) Mosh'sh (1) Mosh'sh (0) Mosh'sh". Kami Band members for this concert were guitarists Mikio Fujioka (RIP) and Leda Cygnus, BOH on bass, and Hideki Aoyama on drums.
I'm just trying to imagine how much hot water Alice Cooper would have been in had he dared do this sort of thing in the early 70s. I would have loved to have seen the moment someone came up with the idea: "What we can do for Su's 16th.?
#NotaCult 🦊 #DefinitelyNotaCult 🦊 #AnyoneSayingWeAreACultWillBeSacrificedToTheFoxGod 🦊🤘🤘🦊 Also, best and most appreciative reaction to this, Su's 16th birthday bash.
I knew it! 9.5 I was saying to myself that you were gonna give it a 9.5 through out the song. I see your 9.5 and I understand why you gave it that score. Hell of a great show and deserves your score.
At work, seeing that the video reaction i was waiting the whole month was released made the work easier. And it was a great reaction. Oh man, i almost dropped laughing from the chair at your "you always want to end your show memorially" cause i knew, you would not forget this, good or bad.... The whole concert was great: - Ave maria opening show with the Headbanger remix - Black Santas Intro & Onedari Daisakusen - The 3 girls, even more hyped than the whole crowd at start of Catch me if you can. It was like the energizer bunny was hit by a lightning bolt - Akatsuki unfinished to give the crowd a break for the final - The soul sacrificing at the end to upgrade Su and her finding out and getting angry, that Yui & Moa used some for a growth phase And in memory of Mikio...i don`t think you will get it to react, but it is really worth a watch "藤岡幹大 Mikio Fujioka『Harmony X 』2017-2‐11" on youtube
Yeah this performance was insane. I am old enough to have seen some of the insanity of metal bands in the late 70s and 80s, none of those dudes had the balls to crucify a 16 year old girl on stage while chanting praying to her. I have seen good productions. Band Maid can put on a performance, lasers, audience participation. Mamamoo though not metal or rock can put on really good productions. 4 hour concerts with all kinds of attention to detail, thrones, floating drumsets, even comedy skits but then there is Babymetal, they define a new top level when it comes to production. Amazing really how 3 tiny teenage girls can completely control thousands in crowd, no we are not a cult. lol. Amazing the control they have.
Most girls: For my 16th birthday I had a party with a few friends and got loads of gifts I really didn't want or need. Su-metal: For my 16th Birthday I was crucified as a sacrifice to an unseen entity known as the Fox God in front of a giant maiden statue, whilst being watched by thousands of people, some druids, a metal band and 2 of my closest friends.
Another Great Reaction for Babymetal from DH!! All of Babymetal's LIVE performances are not only musical concerts, they are THEATRICAL productions!! While Babymetal's Death was a great show finale, what has endured in my mind as the GREATEST show opener EVER was Babymetal's Lengend S concert for Su-metal's 20th birthday. The lore of the opening dialog about the Fox Gods releasing a new Legend goddess of light, then the theatrics involved leading into and during Babymetal's song "IN THE NAME OF" was absolutely incredible. This video will surely get blocked unless you do the necessary tricks. Also Su's performance of "NO RAIN, NO RAINBOW" and "THE ONE" was also unforgettable as well. Su also gets 'crucified' again during this concert although not as memorable as the Legend 1997. I will watch this reaction over and over, just like the reaction that you did on "Road of Resistance" !! I can't wait for your reaction for Babymetal's Legend S Baptism XX opening dialog into "IN THE NAME OF" !!
Loved your puppy eyes...Great Reaction!!! My biggest Kistune-Up for you!!! Thank you...would like to recommend, to watch whole live-shows, like Yokohama Arena 2015, Tokyo-Dome 2016, Budokan 2014, Wembley 2016 and so on...
"whys he crying"
"They crucified a 16 year old girl"
"Thats awful.."
"Awful? it was beautiful!"
Its was, truly. Now our Queen ascended to god hood.

Emotion overload, Babymetal are big fans of Metallica, they opened for them in South Korea 2017. Su-metal being reborn as a metal goddess on her 16th birthday, how epic is that!
Su y Moa are fans of Metallica, but Yui is fan of Ariana Grande
Even the opening riff sounds like Metallica’s “One”
i want to like this comment...but i will not disrespect the 69
@@JuanGomez-dk6kfthey all listen to Pop too. Doesn't mean you don't like metal bands.
@@MrFRNTIK it kinda does
- What did your friends do for your 16th birthday?
- They crucified me on stage.
You can't get more metal than that.
The American metal band, Galactic Empire, got invited to be an opening band for Babymetal in Japan. They had a great time, and their guitarist Chris Kelly said:
"The BABYMETAL crew has been, hands down, the most amazing, hospitable and accommodating crew we have ever worked with, and their live show is something truly incredible. The talent and work ethic of everyone involved is, in my experience, absolutely unparalleled. Every band, every crew, every show should aspire to match their level of greatness."
The guitarists and bassist of Galactic Empire later became members of the Western version of the Kami band who were the backing band for Babymetal's last US tour.
I was wondering about that. Thanks for clearing that up for me. Saves me the time researching.
This performance is one of the most metal things have ever seen!
“In the name of” Legend S comes pretty close
@@Inosuke_Hashibira75 I wholeheartedly agree. The Legend S performance of In The Name Of is spectacular as well, but for me it doesn't have the same shock value of Babymetal Death at Legend 1997.
However, I will concede that I believe the production values were higher at Legend S, largely because of a bigger budget, improved technology during the intervening years and a higher focus on set design and staging as Babymetal got bigger.
I am happy for people to have their favorites and as I have said, both are absolutely awesome.
@@lencooke944 🔥🦊🔥
Used to get pissed off because of baby metal but as you said only because it’s not my cup of tea doesn’t mean no one should enjoy it. Also who decides what’s metal or not, its such a big genre with sub genres that sound nothing alike for example Deicide, Blasphemy, Darkthrone and Korn don’t Sound in any aspect alike but they still are all considered metal.
AND as if this ending hadn't been enough for the crowd, this was followed by the announcement to the crowd of the release of Babymetal's first album.
This was Su-metal's 16th birthday concert. They stepped up the production for her 20th birthday concert, "Legend S", especially for the song "in The Name Of". Epic reaction!🤘🦊🤘
Exactly, that "Legend S" part was extremely epic
That "In the Name Of" intro is the best show opener ever
Legend S was First show without Yui and the last for Mikio (RIP) \m/
@@radioraffa It's a great show, and poignant given how things went. The crowd supporting Moa during the Moa/Yui songs is beyond amazing

Maybe no one has ever mentioned this, but I feel its incredible that one of the biggest drawing acts in the world , has done this , with *little or no airplay on FM radio!* Seems next to impossible, but they did it !
thanks Dave
We don't get them on any commercial radio station here in Australia, but this can be expected as they do sing in Japanese, and without the visuals, it won't make for great radio.
Babymetal is a visual band, and perhaps the best in the world at doing that at this time.
Excellent reaction, I really enjoyed that thank you. This is just one of the things they do that make BABYMETAL one of the very best live acts in the world and why they have won awards to say that is the case. There can't be many bands who would crucify their lead singer on stage to celebrate her 16th birthday.
There is a translation of the intro video in the description (or it is on another upload of this performance, this one may have had subtitles added, I'm not sure) which would have helped a bit (perhaps) with understanding what was happening:
"Legend 1997. (referring to the year of Su's birth)
It is told that receiving the legendary neck brace from the god of Metal,
she shall abandon her human life and be reborn as a goddess.
The bloodline which has been passed down from ancient times
is destined to be the guide, boarding the ark of time.
The apocalypse is prophesied
DOOMSDAY comes
There remains... little time.."
Basically, as you sort of got but maybe not the precise details, this show was the final step in BABYMETAL transitioning from Idol group sub-unit (it had this narrative running all the way through and even started with a lip-synced dance remix of their song 'Headbanger') to independent metal band - it was also Su-metal's final step in her transition from J-Pop Idol - she was sacrificing her human existence and life as Suzuka Nakamoto, a J-Pop Idol, to be reborn as Su-metal, a Metal Goddess chosen to lead the Metal Resistance.
Death Death Death Death Death Death."
It is a play on words.
#notacult
They have continued to step up the production every year. I would recommend a reaction for the opening for the Legend S Baptism XX concerts in December 2017 in Hiroshima - Su-metal's 20th birthday celebration in her home town Hiroshima - the song is 'In The name Of', but it has to be that particular performance.
Ill 2nd that in the name of vote.
Reactors resource time from now on I think.
Yes it absolutely MUST be that specific performance.you're jaw will drop.
Now you see the beauty of Babymetal🤘🦊🤘
I'm 41 and i'm not ashamed to say this band can make me cry!
@@MacTaipan Using the BilliBilli link should work.
I came here to ask this, always thought this was their opener
"Babymetal isn't real metal"-people should watch the second half of that video^^
Now he really needs to see the full Legend S: Baptism XX opening.
Yeah, that would be epic. 🤘
Do you have a link of a good video with that? I think i have seen it, but not sure, and i can make a request with it
"It is possible that I have heard this song in passing and I just don't realize it ..." - I would say nope, that is not a possibility.
Hey, it's me, the weird guy lurking in the subs. Just leaving a comment and a like to show support :)
I totally agree 1000% that some people asking a question of "If you got a time machine, what you goona do?" The answer definitely is to go to a BABYMETAL concert, either "Legend 1997", or "Budokan Red Night/Black Night", or "2015 Legend Fox New Year Festival", or "2017 Big Fox Festival"

I wonder what Gimma Chocolate David would think if you told him he would be getting emotional over Babymetal.
Definitely check out the opening track for the Legend S show. 12 minutes of spine tingles. The production for it is off the charts.
The beginning of legend S is the greatest opening to a live performance I've ever seen!
Yep greatest opening and let's not forget closing in the history of rock n roll.
Don’t forget about when they did “Headbanger” at Su’s graduation. Poor Moa was in tears the entire performance and hardly held it together.
@@Kelson64 Then they turn around and do it for Moas birthday
Finally someone that put the title of this song right with the full name and not -"Death"- along, you never disappoint David.

I will be waiting to see you react to BABYMETAL - "No Rain No Rainbow"- live in Hiroshima

"FEELIN' YOU Graxus!!!
Thank you for this 🍻🍻🍻🍻🍻🍻🍻🍻🍻
#notacult
The 1st shot of Fujioka-san's face beaming with that love of his craft, just gets me every time😇
Great reaction. Still can't believe you have not reacted to me, their best song: *BABYMETAL - Ijime,Dame,Zettai - Live at Sonisphere 2014,UK (OFFICIAL)* U WILL CRY 5 TIMES!!!!😭
It's amazing how most videos on this channel are around 20 minutes or so and then most Babymetal videos are like 40+ minutes and have tons of views
Imagine being there and witnessing such a show. The entire Babymetal team is beyond amazing.
Nightwish - Ghost Love Score (9.8)
@@THEDavidHeretic Although I am a Nightwish fan and also Within Temptation, to name the two main symphonic metal bands I have appreciated, I have not seen any of your Nightwish reaction/reviews.
Great video! and reaction! DEATH is such a fantastic opener aswell.
Now I think about it, Babymetal is the only band ever able to crucify little girls on stage and get away with it
🤣
FEELIN' YOU Mark!!! No worries, I'll never change who I am, what I am, or how I am.
Excellent reaction.
“BaByMeTaL iSnT mEtAl!”
I’ve been waiting for you to react to this and you didn’t disappoint.
You'll will get HOOKED and you will become a TRUE FAN 😊
i love rewatching your reaction to this, its like catharsis
You have to see Babymetal-In The Name Of live at Legend S (if you can find it)
Just 3 words BabyMetal Reactors Resource 🤘🦊🤘
@@martinmetal7481 true
You did your job - a smile on my face even through the tears falling for not only your reaction but Su's ascension from young child/teenhood/Japanese idolhood to her true career destiny as a metal goddess as Babymetal also truly evolved from being the Heavy Music Club of Sakura Gakuin. As to mascara running, I think Su's emotions were really finally realizing she has left her artistic beginnings and moving on to the next stage of her life (and Yui and Moa to follow... well...)
I don't think it's too much of an exaggeration to claim that BMD counts as a quite memorable concert ending. ;-)
Great analysis.
Some Babymetal songs to react to :
Sis Anger, Tales of destinies, in the name of (legend S version)
And yeah this is SuMetal 16th birthday, the hole concert round around Death and Rebirth and as you see, like never before, a jpop idol was sacrifice to be reborn as a METAL GODDESS, the Fox God has blessed all of us, praise an all hail to the Fox God 🦊🤘
The important day in Japan and other countries (like in Latinamerica) is 15 unlike 16 in your country, but this one was significant since that year was the last time with Sakura Gakuin, former main group and she and the group become independent from that group, althou the rest of the girls were still on it for a little more time.
It is the story that, receiving the legendary corset from the god of the Metal,
she abandons being human and shall be reborn as a goddess.
The gene which has been determined from ancient time
is destined to be guided, boarding on the ark of time.
The apocalypse prophesied
the DOOMSDAY. Towards it,
there remains…
little time…
BABYMETAL DEATH is normally the song that they would open a show with as all there are doing is introducing themselves and getting the crowd fired up and ready for the rest of the show.
The lyrics start with the crowd spelling out "B - A - B - Y - M - E - T - A - L" then the girls tell us who they are "Su-metal desu (I am SU-Metal") , "Yuimetal desu (I am Yuimetal"),
"Moametal desu (I am Moametal"), "BABYMETAL desu (we are Babymetal"), now this may look a little strange to you as when introducing themselves individually it is ("I am") yet when introducing
themselves as a group it is ("we are"), lets explain that first thing when saying the word "desu" (the U is silent) so when Yui is introducing her self she says "Yuimetal des" but as Yui is saying
the word "DES" at the end of saying it she will put her tongue between her teeth makeing a sound like "TH" so you get "Yuimetal des-th" and that put her tongue between her teeth makes the
word "Des-th" mean (I am), now when they are introducing them selfs as a group they say "Babymetal des" but they don't put they tongue between her teeth at the end of the word "Des"
this makes the word "Des" sound different and changes the meaning of it to (we are), there is one more word to the lyrics of this and that is the fans line or word in this song they are to chant "Des-th"
but even that needs explaining nothing is ever easy with Babymetal, they like to play with things especially words there sounds and meanings they noticed that when introducing themselves in Japanese saying the word "Des-th" ("I am") it sounds very much like the English word "DEATH" they liked that so for the fans part in this song it would be in English to chant "DEATH" repeatedly, all so that is were they got the song title as well it is not just *DEATH* the song title is *BABYMETAL DEATH*.
Well that is it for the lyrics in this song they would do this twice then the music go's crazy good and the girls run around all over the stage interacting with the fans and geting them up on
there feet bouncing and getting the fans chanting "Death Death Death Death Death Death" they would keep this going for a time ending up in one big chant from everyone of "BABYMETAL DEATH" a big
explosion lot's of pyrotechnics end of introduction song everyone ready let the show begin.
BM always brings out the feels.
Su-METAL owns our souls
BABYMETAL live is LIFE
🤘🤘🤘
Later, the girls returned the favour by watching the headliners perform - and it was their first-ever metal show." Su-metal then said " I found it interesting that instead of hearing their music through my ears, I felt everything with my heart."
In 2017, BABYMETAL opened for Metallica.
BUT the people i keep going to see again and again are the people who I KNOW are going to show me more than what i can just hear on the CD
P.S. “the coolest reason to have neck surgery” LOL idk, something really funny about that sentence
I think at this point he is ready for MOAbanger. - I bet he will react "emotionally" again at the crowd reaction.
When you started your reaction and you said just a few thousand views i thought oh shit he
has the wrong Video. Thank God you got the right one. Greetings from Germany !

This song was used as their concert opener for quite a few years.
Usually without the crucifixion. : )
I saw BABYMETAL open for Korn & Stone Sour in Chula Vista, CA back in 2017.
The concert was on Yui's Birthday on June 20th.
There were Korn fans on either side of me, who were expecting something called BABYMETAL to be pretty mellow.
They opened with 'BABYMETAL Death'. : )
'Legend 1997' is named for Su-metal's birth year.
This concert was held December 21st, 2013, the day after her 16th birthday.
This performance was unusual since it was used as the closing number.
Here's a translation of the introduction:
"It is the story that, receiving the legendary corset from the god of the Metal,
she abandons being human and shall be reborn as a goddess.

On a side note, I knew you would love the production/scenery.
I knew it! 9.5 I was saying to myself that you were gonna give it a 9.5 through out the song. I see your 9.5 and I understand why you gave it that score. Hell of a great show and deserves your score.
omfg I love your reactions almost as much as I love the band.
At work, seeing that the video reaction i was waiting the whole month was released made the work easier. And it was a great reaction.
Oh man, i almost dropped laughing from the chair at your "you always want to end your show memorially" cause i knew, you would not forget this, good or bad....
The whole concert was great:
- Ave maria opening show with the Headbanger remix
- Black Santas Intro & Onedari Daisakusen
- The 3 girls, even more hyped than the whole crowd at start of Catch me if you can. It was like the energizer bunny was hit by a lightning bolt
- Akatsuki unfinished to give the crowd a break for the final
- The soul sacrificing at the end to upgrade Su and her finding out and getting angry, that Yui & Moa used some for a growth phase
And in memory of Mikio...i don`t think you will get it to react, but it is really worth a watch "藤岡幹大 Mikio Fujioka『Harmony X 』2017-2‐11" on youtube
When a 16 yr old and 2 -15 yr olds are more metal than you can ever be. Maybe one of the most amazing shows I've seen watching RUclips videos.
Moa and Yui were 14 at the time of this concert
I'll give it to you man, it's the first time ive heard a crucifixion as being described as beautiful..... 🤣
