I love your collection! There are several places to get collectible pins. But the place that I have had a lot of luck is called Box Lunch, they are an affiliate with Hot Topic in the US and usually in ‘malls’. The pins aren’t official Disney pins, however I have found some of my favorite Disney pins there. So maybe when you are in Florida again if you see a Box Lunch store, check it out. Love this video!!!

I used to be a pin collector too. I rarely buy pins anymore. I only buy them when I go on trips at different attractions while I am travelling or from a show that I just saw like Mary Poppins

Not sure how I want to put this but thank you for trusting us with your interests and letting us into your hobby. I think the internet can be a cruel place to open yourself up to and a hobby such as this I can imagine would invite some unwanted comments and it’s just nice to see you feel you’re in a safe space you know?
The display looks fab and you’re right it’ll be a good conversation starter if you’re having people round ☺️ + all that extra room means you’ll just HAVE to buy more 😜 xx

I love Disney pins!!! I display them all on different 12inx12in boards on my wall. Each board has a different "theme" or character. It has grown so much over the years!! One of my newest favorite things to do is when I travel to Walt Disney World I bring a small bulletin board that holds about 10-15 pins and I use command velcro strips to hang it on the outside of my hotel room door with a sign that reads "Take A Pin, Leave A Pin. This is done on the honor system. We love mystery pin trading".. It adds a bit of mystery when we come back to our hotel room each evening to see who traded and what they had. 🥰

Absolutely love this! Thank you for sharing. I am planning a Europe holiday in 2024 and was wondering what I could collect to commemorate the trip and have now decided to collect pins! The fact that I can collect and trade Disney is a super bonus!!!
I used to collect badges when I was a child still have them all in an old metal quality street tin.. now as an adult I have progressed in to pins. Love how you store... given me good idea for mine .

Thanks for the link for your mums pin boards. Ive recently been going through more of my mums things who sadly passed away. I found all her pins she used to collect when I was a child, she would wear them on her coat and they hold so many wonderful memories of her for me so I will be buying one of your mums beautiful boards so I can display them all. 🥰

I love this! I currently have my newest pins on my dressing table, the others I have from previous trips are on a Pin trading lanyard. I'm want to display them but it's just finding where and how! This us giving me ideas on how to display them! 😍😍

Hi Brogan. Loved this video. We went to Disney World in 2009 with our son who at the time of going was 9 and he has Autism. We did pin trading with him to try and get him to communicate with others. We came back with quite a few that all mean so much. We were due to go back for his 21st and lockdown hit and we are still waiting as he is still struggling with life. However when we do get to go it will be more magical and i can't wait for him to do more trading. It is all about memories.

Hi there! I haven't got a single pin but I watched the entire video with interest!It's nice how you associate them with memories.Now I'm trying to remember if I have a collection of anything and I guess I have a collection of coins, old national geographic copies and some Disney themed objects such a mugs and toys in the garage....
I love pin trading myself I told myself I'll get one when I went to Walt Disney world but then that's were my collection started fab video : )
I display my pins exactly the same. I also pin photos to the boards too. Like one year I went to DLP during pirates and princess season so I have a photo, princess pins and the year pin on one board together. Xxxx

I loved this video Brogan, it just made me feel cosy. My girls love pin trading at Disney. I have a nice story about pins at Disney. We went to a Starbucks in Celebration and my middle daughter Lottie left her lanyard with loads of pins in the toilet. By the time we got back to our hotel and realised it was missing we rang Starbucks and sadly someone had taken it. Lottie was absolutely distraught as she had been collecting them for a couple of years and had some special ones on there. Anyway the next day ( our last day ) we went into one of the Disney parks shops to buy her a new lanyard and a couple of starter pins to start her off. I was talking to the lady serving me at the till and telling her all about it and she was like oh no. She went off for a minute (presumably to speak to her manager), and came back and said to Lottie 'I have just been speaking to Mickey and he was so sad to hear about your pins so he wanted to gift you this lanyard and 2 pins and sprinkle some Disney magic on your day.' It was the sweetest gesture and made me cry. I had heard that the Disney cast members will try and sprinkle magic on you randomly and it was the first time it had properly happened to us. It's making me tear up writing this as Lottie was just so happy, such a lovely memory even 4 years later!
Yes, you need to come back to California so that I can hopefully bump into you at the parks and tell you how amazing you are!!! Loved this video! I love looking at pins. I don't buy too many but I do love looking at them :)

Loved this! Can you do a video all about your go pro please ? Your travel clips are always amazing! Like best settings for adventures, best accessories, how to work it in general, you explain tech stuff in the best way!

Brogan! I love love love pins. Other then my three daughters (15,13 and 10) I don’t know anyone that collects them or trades and we have so much fun doing it. How clever of you to think to keep the cardboards. I wish I had now. My 10 year old did keep hers though x
They do t do the hotel pins anymore and they don’t do many “rides” ones either which is so annoying when your collecting certain ones xx
Omg i like the toy story pin. Im obsessed with toy story since i was a little girl. My 3 daughters will have a toy story birthday, my 8 year old daughter loves it 2. I love the pin bord your mom made. I never bought pins, but i would like to start with it. Who knows 😊 thankyou for the video! Love to see disney vlogs, even this kind of vlogs. Do you store the back clips? I enjoyed this! Made me realise how many pins from all sorts of places, campaigns, even times in history I have scattered about on lanyards or jackets.
Love this! I only have a few Pins but since I started collecting i went to Disneyland Paris twice😅 I am collecting disney pins and also Hard Rock Cafe pins so maybe i will start display them like one side disney and one side hard rock🤔😊

We collect fridge magnets from national trust/ English heritage etc places we’ve been too. Not quite covered the fridge freezer yet!!
I also collect pins from places I’ve been around the world. I keep mine on the maps of the country/continent on the wall showing where the town is etc.
Ahh Brogan, this makes me sooo happy! Thank you so much for sharing my pin and I felt privileged for it to be first on your new boards! I am in need of a major reorganisation of my pins too! There are so many in a box waiting to be displayed and it seems such a shame to have them hidden away. 💕

Just started this video, and my initial thought is you need one or two more board at the bottom, and then find some small circle LED pucks for the points in between and you can make your board look like Spaceship Earth. Also I would totally leave some space as you know you will be getting more pins in the future.
My husband and I collect magnets instead of pins - have over 50 displayed on a board in our kitchen of places we've been! We added our first official Disney one this year when we went on our Honeymoon to WDW in May!💕💕 Ashley xx

I collect magnets of places I have been to as well. At the moment they are all over my fridge freezer doors but now I am thinking I need to move them to a magnetic display board and hang on the wall. Love a good collection

Disney pins are really a whole other thing haha. I mean look at my channel name PINcess so believe me I know 😂 it was so great seeing your collection and hear about your pin journey into the hobby. I LOVE your board set up on the wall it’s so satisfying. Pin twins on the 50th pin and I especially love your travel board. I have a travel board as well and it’s just so special and so much fun to hunt for on trips. Ahhh you collect theatre pins too?!?!?! Pin twins on wicked, waitress, Aladdin, and dear Evan Hansen.

I have a fair few Disney pins, my daughter and I got a lanyard each when we were at WDW in 2019 (she was pixie dusted another one from a cast member after a wee sad moment) and then I got one on DCL.
My weakness is Hard Rock Cafe pins...! I think I have more than 300 now, and need to find a good way to display them, these boards seem brilliant. My plan had been to use IKEA KASSEBY box frames as they have a lining to push the pins into and it's a magnetic door front, but they've stopped making them...!! So I like the look of your boards - what thickness are they, please?
