I live on an island, (Grand Manan), which is in The Bay of Fundy. This entire area is a great vacation destination. Great scenery, friendly ppl and unique phenomena like The Reversing Falls on the St. John river, and tidal bore on the Petticodiac River. Whale watching tours are available also. Book your tour in advance. They are often full. Bring your fishing rod and catch a few mackerel for your supper. No license required. Hope to see you at the wharf with fishing rod in hand.

I live a few minutes from there, and you really have to see it to believe. Pics/Vids don't do it justice.

Especially when they don't even show low and high tide from the same viewpoint so we can make any kind of comparison! I envy you having seen it IRL though, that must have bee pretty awesome.
