I'm also stitching the bear. I'm leaving the house section to the end, partly to use all the browns on the bear first. But now I'm thinking of putting in a butterfly, probably blue for a pop of colour. The bear is a lot of stitches, but I'm getting closer!

Your September monthly Quaker has to be my favorite only because of all of the purple! I just love purple. October looks to be a beauty also. The Peacoat may become more variegated when you get to the more densely stitched motifs. I think it is still looking very pretty. There is just something compelling me to stitch the Quakers! I started with a Halloween SAL, which was a mystery stitch. I frogged so much but it did not put me off continuing❤ My first Quaker purchase was the Quilts and I had no idea how huge it was. I bought tge skeins rather than the balls of threads. I then realized it was going to take loads of floss and purchased the set 😊

After seeing all your progress over the last 3 weeks, I have to admit that you are one wicked fast stitcher! No way could I get that much done in that short stretch of time. I am such a slow stitcher. It usually isn't a problem to be as slow as a sloth with a hangover, but... I am also a challenge/SAL junkie and I sign up for as many as I can.
