Kiel | Northern Germany | Living in the Sailing City

I have been living in Kiel for 14 months and this place feels like a home now. Through the process of making this video, I tried to remember the memories from the last Autumn: the life back then, the encounters, and the moments of infinity.
Kiel is the capital and most populous city in the northern German state of Schleswig-Holstein, lies approximately 90 kilometres north of Hamburg. Due to its geographic location in the north of Germany, the southeast of the Jutland peninsula and the south-western shore of the Baltic Sea, Kiel has become one of the major maritime centres of Germany. For instance, the city is known for a variety of international sailing events, including the annual Kiel Week, which is the biggest sailing event in the world.

I met a girlfriend a german studying in England who went back...visited briefly and 3 weeks later " I am pregnant " so decided to move there....It is my heimat, 15 years learned the language and knew so many people. The beauty of the baltic sea is great, and great bars etc... I still fly to Kiel so see my dual mixed race son, and locals know me....
