Need more ppl like this, excuse the bull shit and get right to what we clicked on the Video for.
Man I love a yellow Yamaha! Nostalgia from my 80’s bikes as a kid
Thanks! Straight forward.
Great vid bud! Nice n clean, to the point.
How long do you leave it to dry once you’ve oiled it?
That bubble beard!
Thanks for the info. I'll try and give my filter a clean before I go riding Monday.
+Bad JuJu haha love it thx my friend!! Let me know how it goes!
Hi, great video, thanks! Do you think that the spray method is worth it ? I think it would be cheaper to use liquid cleaner and oil but is the spray easier to use ? How often do you clean them ? :)
Thank you! Yea I think the liquids are cheaper and to be honest I'm not totally sold that the spray is easier to use. Sometimes the cans become slippery and they really don't have much product in them for the cost. I generally clean my filters after every ride...but depending on the conditions you could probably go every other ride i think :) I hope that helps and thank you for the questions!

@@fit4moto thanks for your answer, it's really appreciated ♥️ subbed!
AF no one will do a video on using spray,
spray is what I have and use, have no idea
how wrong I'm doing it.
i used spray nine tonight and couldn't believe how easy it was to clean it
interesting! 🤔
This is the only video I've seen on using the spray for
a foam air filter. I guess the idea is to use it quite liberally,
soak the heck out of it. I was wondering. I have this realy
porous filter, not the tight packed type that seems to be
typical, which means to me that I really need to lay that
oil down heavy.
thanks pal!! great vid..bout to install em on my 81 rm 125.. cheers!!
Wicked! Thanks man!
Nice video!thank,it helped me a lot!
thanks man!!
Love it! Thanks for the quick vid!
+A R thank you!
Help a lot man. Thank you 🙏🏻
Thanks man!!
jacked up
Really helpful! Thanks 👏👏👏👏
No problem Francisco!
Hi I was wondering if you can oil the filter too much? And if so how do I properly oil the filter
Yes you can, it really doesn’t need too much oil, if you add too much then you restrict air flow, which isn’t good!
Can I use cooking oil on a foam filter
After cleaning
I have seen guys use motor oil in a pinch, but the problem with cooking oils is that they are so thin, all of the oil will flow to the bottom of the filter. That means the top of the filter will not have any, and the oil will actually end up pooling low and be forced into the engine with the air. Best Not :)
I have those same plastics except no red
They're sooo good huh?!
Can a person use any oil
since they come clean and dry from the factory all I'd need to do is oil it right?
It should actually come with oil on it from the shop that you buy it at. But in the event that it doesn’t, absolutely throw some air filter oil on it and you’re good to go. If it’s brand new it should be squeaky clean.
Thanks boss !
+Lee Robinson thanks brother!! Much love
Good video, what’s your opinion on using Shell Rotella T4 oil on bikes. Thinking of trying it out.
Thank you! :) Rotella T4 was the choice of KTM's teams for years and a lot of teams have used it at one point or another. It claims its good for wet clutches. I have never ran it before but it seems legit! If you do try it out, I would love to hear how you found it :)
How long should I let my air filter dry after oiling it?
Depends on the oil…. Sometimes I will ring it out with a piece of paper towel and that seems to dried out enough 🤟🏼
@@fit4moto thank you!
My mom likes it when i clean my air filter in her kitchen sink....just kidding. She get mad.
