Deine Töpfe machen aber ganz schön Geräusche! Ich hab das gleiche Kochfeld nur mit einem Display und das ist deutlich leiser.

Are you happy with this induction stove? Any negatives after using it for a while?

The fan is a little bit loud when you are using many pots or pans for a longer cooking session. It could be because of my very narrow Installation place. I am happy with it, when I use normal electric hobs i recognise how easy its to cook with this induction hob.

How does that section in the middle work? Is it also heating? Does it connect the two sides of the hob?

The middle section can be used to enlarge the left or right section. You could put both sides on the same heating level, then you would have one big heating secrion

How even is the heating surface? I get a feeling there are hotspots since the coils are not centred beneath the pot

I think your feeling is right. I have only very cheap pots (with very thin bottom) and sometimes you can see where the coils are located. But keep in mind you need to stay in those squares and when you are doing that, the heat is very well centered. If you have an idea to locate the coils tell me, I can tell you afterwards. @@jttr2737 If you dust a big pan with flour, and let it cook for few minutes on 6, you will see the exact positions of the coils. The flour will burn where the coils are

​@@anischloss7144 Er demonstriert wie das Kochfeld zu nutzen ist. Das ist ein eher ungewöhnliches Kochfeld, wenn man nur die Standard 4 Plätze Kochfelder kennt. Ich finde das Video sehr gut auch ohne Kommentar, da es zeigt wie das Kochfeld funktioniert. Nicht mehr und nicht weniger, perfekt für mich.
