Grey Noise the Smoothest & Less Known Noise Color Recreated

- The smoothest noise for relaxation and focus is Grey Noise, but it is far less known than classic noise colors like Pink and White. A dip in the midrange frequencies makes Grey Noise less edgy. This is called the loudness curve explained in the intro. This is an all new version created from scratch that is a variation of the original Gray Noise posted in 2012. • Grey Noise Ambient Sou...
The background dims at 90 Minutes for those craving a dark screen experience.
The creation process:
This was made in my recording studio using ProTools and some special plug-in filters and dynamic effects and mixed just like music if produced. This and a dash of love is what sets the quality of my tracks apart. The visuals were created in my video editor called Vegas.
Thanks for listening, Dale

I really like this Grey Noise. It has over tones that sound like rain. Very nice, very smooth. ☔️👍
Love the analogy. Thanks for listening Laura
You aren't just the best, but you are constantly outdoing yourself. Copycats have been trying to overtake you for years now, because all they can do is try to copy, but you are the original source. I have derived so much from your work for years now and write this on behalf of all the others who, like me, didn't come forward to express their gratitude for your talent, expertise and unique gifts.
Thank you ColorShiftYarn. What a journey it has been. It is so appreciated when the high effort goes noticed. 12 years ago there was a handful of RUclips creators in the ambient listening niche, and I’m pretty sure I was first to post noise colors, this before I or listeners knew the value of these sounds. The algorithm found the listeners the views came in, and the comments help guide the direction. I want these sounds to always be unique high quality sonic offerings. My sonic inspirations mostly predate RUclips and I’ve been into overnight sound, ambient sound, nature sounds since childhood and made a career in audio production that has brought me to this current destination. More to come.
Amazing! Thank you! This is charity work at its best …. you don’t know how much it means to us. Your channel is actually is the ONLY way to provide relief from Tinnitus🙏
Glad you enjoy it!
Sounds like pouring rain and strong winds. I love it
Ah, the good ole loudness - thank you for the 2023 edition of Grey - Dale, you are the best 🤍
Loudness is an oldie but a goody. It's ashamed contemporary playback devices do not have a loudness button, or bass and treble knobs most of the time.
It's like a black n white tv after sign off. ❤
Nice.
Best yet for higher pitch 24/7 tinnitus thanks again
Another new favourite. The softness and calm it's giving me is pure joy in a world of piercing torment. You've no idea how much peace and comfort you've given to us Tinnitus sufferers.
Thank you ❤
Merry Christmas to you and your family
Thanks you Cate. Have a Merry Christmas as well.
@@dalesnale ♥️
I listen to tons of noise, all the colors, spaceship drones, blizzard and storms are great. Love the fx of this one. Super smooth and satisfying...thanks for creating!
Thanks Jon. The backgrounds are fun to make and interesting to get in the zone or chill out. For those that like dark screen, the videos dim after an hour and a half.
It sounds like rain. I like it.
Yes, like through windows.
@@dalesnale a bit of muted sound of storm from far away or whatever this added muted sound on headphones is (bass?)
curious what exactly it is
also is there any tool which converts recorded sound cleaning noise up and decomposing into simpler "parts" in some universal data format?
This sounds exactly like what sleeping in the backseat during an overnight road trip feels like. It's like I can feel the traffic, the low hum and buzz of electricity of cars. For me, that's a good thing- I find it really relaxing and nostalgic. I'm definitely subscribing, this is good stuff!
This is another go to that I can add to my list.
Fabulous work!
Awesome! Thank you!
Whoa! Yes I remember the loud button thing (I went to college) 👀 Cool info man. Did not know that! 💪
And there was a Japanese Hair Metal band called Loudness.
Many months after a traumatic event, I finally can get some sleep with THIS one in particular. I've tried many "colours" only to find some too jarring, some causing bad dreams, and others I'd just switch off. This one... Just so perfect. I don't know who you are, but I thank you. Subbed. Liked. Amazing. 😭
This is actually super smooth. Way better then the sound my humidifier makes.
Thanks. The humidifier is a wonderful sound also, with a bit more rattle and dripping sounds. Here is one I recorded: ruclips.net/video/xd5X2Oe1TAc/видео.htmlsi=p0R68L6wa2Y_NvR0
1 minute in and....just like that I'm home! I love this. Thanks heaps
Warm and cozy vibes, check :)
Best for my tinnitus so far, thank you ❤
That is great to hear Mary.
Thanks for another great video Dale, helps me relax the noise a little.
Varey appreciated :)
Perfect! Thank you!
it's been about three days I've been doing my work with this stuff. Pretty good.
I love gray, I love noize .
This I double love !
Double noise. Thanks to the second power.
I hear rain wind and also the low reminds me of being inside an airplane. I like it
My new favorite! 😎
very smooth, thank you :)
Thank you for listening.
rlly soothing :> helps me study
Awesomeness 😊
Thank you 🌸 👋🏾
You are so welcome
It sounds like waves of the ocean
Good night !
Nighty night Francis
With one of my favorite colours!
Love this one. Nice work, Dale

You are welcome and thanks for listening.

here before this explodes
Only one that helps my poor ears thanks m8 x
Thanks for listening Chelle
another classic
0:32. I was trying to relax but got scared by a rubber band noise instead please dont put yhese jn tge videos.
The static sound, yes I've backed off on that thanks to the comments.
I am trying it tonight
Let us know your results. :)
Nice!
Thanks Jackieh
Sounds like waterfalls to me.
It has the classic low rumble and high splashes of a big waterfall for sure.
I like grey better than pink. I wonder if there are any noise machines that do it?
Thanks buddy!
Cheers Suendra
Hi Dale. I’m new to your channel (just about to sub) so forgive me for asking before looking at any other of your videos if there’s a case for varying the volume (e.g. like using a slow LFO) rather than a constant? I find (any colour you like) noise to be a tad annoying after a while at the same volume. Maybe it’s just me? Anyway thanks for this one and another of yours (4.5Khz IIRC on a medical channel you contribute to). Cheers. Lee
Thanks Lee, The streaming playback keeps the volume consistent even if I wanted to vary the levels, it will be turned up or down automatically, so it is best to start low when listening. The sound creations that use LFO-low frequency oscillation are titled, Sweeping Noise or Binaural Beats, Noisescapes-Collages or Natural Noise. Some of the tinnitus relief series has linear static, but a handful have variability, mostly in the high frequency range.
I like
Thx Nancy

Should i adjust the volume to the same intensity of my high range Tinnitus, or leave it as is?
Any advise appreciated for a 1st timer. Thankyou.
Why did you put that annoying sound in there at about 30 seconds in?
Sorry about that. Just trying to keep the introduction interesting.
Even better then brown pink or white noise !

5:45:20 ahhh yeah, you see they really did something there
Everything leads to that moment of reveal.
Niagara.
The waterfall power of intense low frequencies and the high frequencies of the mist. I hope everyone gets to hear Niagara Falls for real once in a lifetime.
great I cant hear the kids now
Lol. It is great for that and a core reason I made noise back when our home was filled with teenagers.
Tbh to me it sounds like a brush is being constantly rubbed against a mic
Brown noise is better
Here's Extra Deep Brown Noise: ruclips.net/video/oDlIG-FXVQA/видео.html
Could you please do red noise mixed with violet or blue noise?
Yes, going to be putting that together soon.
Love the quiet smoothness of this. Can we put together our favourite noises to buy as a package in mp3 downloads?
@@dalesnale Thank you
I didn’t know what black or grey noise. Was I only knew white noise, and I just use it to make VHS tapes with a very realistic filter it looks like a real actual real VHS tape surprised they could do that.
