I immediately faulted that kaduna house report on Rufai on a number of issues. Apart from not inviting Rufai,i found that the house simply transferred cases to the police etc for investigation. The house should have established any wrong doing,financial or otherwise and should have submitted their report to the governor who commissioned them. The governor should have studied the report and approàched Rufai for his comments on all or some of the allegations. The governor should then present the whole case to his executive Council who may then decide on what further actions need to be takeen baased on Rufai's presentation.
After reading the house report, i còuld not help but conclude that they set out to fail. I don't know Rufai and i have no reason to hold brief for him,but i felt the house did not do a good job and i wouldn't be surprised if the court threw out the case against him,because the house did not follow due process
