    i have a problem on connection a balcony decor stripe! Im strugeling so hard and cant find the solutiion to solve the problem.

    Its easy in max i think this method is so much complicated. Is there any simple method?

    I think with the first one it would take as the same amount of time doing it manually drawing all the lines around the beam, the second method is the one should be used.

      That's a bit hard to do for curves (as in the inside corners of the beams). That's where the intersect method makes your life easier.

    i dunno, who was this geniuos that made this software but its a piece of shit! I mean why cant you just draw the line as you did and press button C on the keyboard to make a cut. Its just unbelivable.

      You could actually assign the C keyboard shortcut to the "Intersect with model" tool if that makes working with this faster.

      I agree. I've been using SketchUp for a while and I'm not sure why this isn't a more simple process. There has to be an easier way with the protractor tool, instead of doing so many steps.
