That. Was. Amazing! This is the third Mumbai video of yours that I have viewed, and I absolutely loved it. I don't know what it cost to have your guide, but it was certainly worth it. He was great. I loved the way he interacted with both of you and also the people you met along the way. At times I get concerned for your safety but know that you were in good hands. Absolutely loving this!
Hi Jim, so glad to hear you have enjoyed these Mumbai videos! We actually got to our hotel at 2:00 am and the tour started at 7:00 am and we shot all 3 videos in the same day -had a good sleep that night! The guide, was around 100-150 euros i think depending on the duration of the tour (we had an extra long private tour) but there is also the option of a group tour -the private tour includes the car too which is a nice way to get around the city. He really is a great guide - so much interesting info and great knowledge of the area. He knew the safe places to take us and also the best street food places too. The bike tour starts in the next episode so looking forwards to sharing that =)
There is no country in the world is as diverse as India. Here, every state has it's own language, food , clothes, landscapes. There are more than 700 languages. It is the world most populous country. Around 1.5 billion people live here. Hinduism, Muslim, Christianity, Buddhism, Jainism, Jewish..every religion of people live here peacefully. India itself a world. This country has all the landscapes like beaches of goa , andaman andnicobar, lakshadweep, Rainforest, snowcapped mountains of Himalayas, sculptures of ancient India. India is a developing country....last ten years it grows rapidly. Now it is the 5th largest economy in the world. It will become 3rd largest economy in 2030 surpassing Japan and Germany. India has a lot of potential. It became the 1st nation to land on the south pole of the moon and became 4th nation to land on the moon after usa ,Russia and China...
Wow thanks for all those facts, it is indeed a country that has it all! It's great how we see all the different faiths living well with each other and seeing the diversity of the country. It is indeed set to become one of the biggest economies -let's hope that wealth gets distributed to those that need it. There's so many great places to explore in India that we are sure we will keep on visiting =)
Sensory overload! 🍛😄 So completely different from here, I know the temptation on the first day is to hibernate in the hotel, so well done for stepping out and exploring 🤗 Thank you for sharing this
All senses overloaded! 😁 -hard to concentrate on the food with all that going on around us. We got to the Hotel at 2:00am and the tour started at 7:00am 😁……good job we pre committed as it got us up and our 😊 Glad you liked it!
Quite a lot for the overwhelming opening day in Mumbai! Can assure you that this city is a feeling, can surely say for it myself given that I am born and brought up here.....have a blast and wishing you loads of fun here...😊❤️
Thanks!!! Actually this was all in one day with a few hours sleep 🤣🤣 we got to the hotel at around 2:00am and the tour started at 7:00 am 😁…..running on adrenaline and masala
This was a great first day in India! We got to the Hotel at 2:00am and stated the tour at 7:00 so was ready for a sleep after this day but wow it was fascinating! We will start the motorcycle tour in the next episode and it's going to be good! 😎👍
Thanks, it really has turned out to be a great adventure! Hehe at first we thought we would avoid it but thought we can't go to India and not sample the street food so we went for it 😉
Haha well enjoy your dinner!! It was so good being taken to the best places in the city and lots of fun getting to each place too. Loved this day tour of Mumbai so much!! Hope you got Naan bread and poppadom's too!
Hope both of you had a great time in India . looking forward to see your bike journey . I have still kept my motorbike in India , whenever i visit India , i ride there . I stay in England . done some road trips on two wheels in Europe , USA and Canada but riding in Indian road is always next level adventure , all the Indian states have different riding culture, food, language within one country ....... its all about experience which you feel on your road trip which changes every 100 k m
Hi, we have had an amazing time in India as you will see 😉 That's great you have a bike still back in India and what a great way to get about when you are there. It suer is an adventure riding in India -keeps the senses alert! That's true one can almost feel the difference when entering another state.
@SeanandEmily I have been strict veggie for over 40yrs and throughout that time India has been the easiest and tastiest country to eat in...all areas the food is great but Kerala is another world....have a great tour.
Great idea with the tourguide, it helps with the madness. Can pick out good places. Better to mix up the dishes, not similar things all at once. Like have non veg as well as veg(most foreigners are non veg like 90%). But overall good, as he is guiding you from the sheer chaos. Also the guide must use gloves as its not clear if he had washed his hands, this is how people can get sick. Also let the food cool down a bit, foreigners are not used to having food so hot (like chai etc), it will prevent them from enjoying their food(burn their tounges). Also, theres way less honking, my ears are healing. 😊
Yeah the tour guide was fantastic and was able to take us to all the good places whilst keeping us safe throughout the day (not that we ever felt unsafe). Yes we are veg since 7 years so are happy to have so many options here 😉. We were almost burning our fingers on that last dish 🤣🤣
