Ok first of all 4 member girl groups are very common. Let me give u some examples: Blackpink, Miss A, 2NE1, Mamamoo, secret, CSJH, Fin K. l. Those are some of the few that i can remember, there are alot more that im not remembering. In regards to ur nmixx comment, its call a switch up. When the song suddenly changes its called a switch up and its a classic sm staple because yoo young jin their former producer was notorious for adding a switch up to the songs and thats y i say its a something sm made famous. JYP only recently started doing it for hi group, the problem is JYP isnt very good at it. SM has years of perfecting this technique and sm is usually more methodical when it comes to switching up. Jyp is just switching up just for the sake of doing it.
SM Groups is known for POWERFUL VOCALS! Even though their Dancers or Rappers can sing. People always said If their weakest vocalist of each SM groups debut in different group they'll be a Main Vocalist.
I haven’t really heard Giselle sing but even Karina is very good from what I’ve heard. That definitely makes sense cause Winter and Ningning go crazy with those notes
