Why would you need to know what the bore size is? You buy the discs on the outer diameter size, not the bore. You buy tyres for your car? What is the size of the hole in the middle of your wheel where it fits onto the hub? You don't know do you. Because you don't need to...
You buy tires for your car by reading the rim size. The last number in inches is nothing but the outer dia of the rim. You have full rights to change the other specs on the tire until it fits. Generally people won't do this but there are who have done these mods. Assume you got a used 5 inch disc which has reduced to 4 inches now. Now, how will you identity whether it will fit in your 4 inch machine or not? I would have checked the inner dia of the disc and make out. Chill!!

I suggest you buy a groover ( wall chaser) instead if the pipe lines should be concealed. If it can be exposed, 5 inch is better and powerful. If you want to use single hand, 4 inch is better. Any 850w 801 model would be perfect

I understood your question. I am sorry to say, I cannot comment on this topic. If I were in your place, I would have used chemicals to remove those stains instead of abrasive disc. Abrasive disc will remove the material itself from the wall/tile, and might make damage than good.. PS: Just my opinion
I got a 5 inch ingco brand with variable speed. I really wanted a made in India, Bosch but that unit costs almost 5000/ while this imported Chinese brand is 2500/. I can use 4 inch flap disc with an adaptor so its definitely VFM.

There is no problem in buying that Ferm. Just confirm if you get parts or not. Thats all. If a power tool is maintained single hand, no need to worry. If a power tool is used for commercial purpose, you need to buy only those tools which have good serviceability
Bro....if you do so, disc will be seated 15mm offset from its normal position. Grinder housing won't support that lateral load. This will decrease its life. Even guard won't be able to cover the disc in case of scatter
You should be "OK" with 4 inch grinder. You can complete 99% of the jobs with 4 inch grinder. If you really need 5 inch, go for it. Both the grinder and its discs are really expensive
I have noted in Bosch discs they provide rings and if we can get an Arbor of 20mm then both 4 and 5 inch discs can be fixed on 5 inch grinder. Please advise

Never put abrasive blade facing down. Crack ho jaata hai jo aapko pata bhi nhi chalega aur use karte tima blade fat jayega. Always put grinder on its feet i.e. blade facing the sky.

5 inch flap discs are indeed available in the market. It is not as common as 4inch disks. But there are a number of companies like Bosh, Dewalt and Cumi make them and sell them in the Indian market. Even wire brushes and buffing discs are available for 5inch m14 spindles
If you really want to run, 5" blade for 4" machine, go to nearby lathe shop and design a custom flange with m10 hole-tap and outer dia 22.23mm. It will work. But, you cannot use safety guard by doing so. This process will cost you atleast 200₹, where I suggest to buy a 5" machine itself

If you really want to run, 5" blade for 4" machine, go to nearby lathe shop and design a custom flange with m10 hole-tap and outer dia 22.23mm. It will work.
But, you cannot use safety guard by doing so. This process will cost you atleast 200₹, where I suggest to buy a 5" machine itself
Very useful info, I think 5mm will dive even more cut as the circumference of 5mm disc is also more so it will have more impact area/meterial.
