Mixed Edibles at Ballito

  • With most local beaches being closed, I decided to take a drive out to Ballito and fish some of the many rocky outcrops it has to offer. Fishing for Bronze Bream, Rockcod, Blacktail and Stone Bream some rock fish.

    I think the epitome of optimism is a person fishing off the rocks in KZN.
    From my limited experience as a youngster all there was to catch were rocks

      It can definitely be like that at times😂😂 but in most instances there's always something to catch between the rocks. Mostly small fish I'll admit😅 but it's fun on the right tackle if you don't lose many traces

      Hi Praveen. It was close to a tidal pool at Emberton road. With regards to the ecoli as far as I know anywhere past Westbrook is safe

      Thanks bru, I was actually thinking about doing that. With all the ecoli and not many bronze bream coming out this season at Ansteys, I need to move further south.
