OUR PERSISTENCE FINALLY PAID OFF !!!!!!! PART 1

In this video we headed down to our usual spot on Inyoni Rocks in Toti for one last session to finish off the year. Although the weather was not looking to good, the water was amazing.
We started off the session putting out a few big baits with Kam putting a bait out for an edible and Keen slid out a whole mackerel for an In-edible.
We then set up our scratching rods to fish for anything around the rocks.
Kam, on his first cast hooked up within seconds and we had our first Shad for the day.
Keen joined in with a shad of his own on his first throw and we knew it was going to be a good day. After getting a few more good shad Kam hooked up onto a shad which was much bigger and was taking some line, After a few minutes we landed a big Shad of 54cm breaking Kam's PB which he had set a week before. A few minutes later and Keenan heard his drag screaming on the bait he slid out and it was big.
The fish took Keen about 300m out and wasn't giving up. after about 20 minutes and trying to maneuver the fish towards the surf the hooks unfortunately popped out of the fish's mouth but we knew there was going to be more.
And that's it for Part 1 of the day , ending it with a big fish lost but stay tuned for PART 2 as we got hooked up into a few more of those In-Edibles.
