Safari Pedals gave me access to this plugin before it was released, but they haven't watched this video in advanced and I can say whatever I want on it.
Camel Strip is a new channel strip made by Safari Pedals. The plugins from Safari Pedals are usually straight to the point, with great sounds and not many controls. Does this one is as great as the others? Is the channel strip market overly saturated?

Thank you for the great review Alex!
I had fun making it :)
Personally, these days I mostly just use the slate bundle but this does look interesting. Probably won’t use it for mixing but when producing and you wanna quickly dial in a sound, this could actually be pretty interesting. And I like the look of it 😅😂
It's nice! I might use it only for the compression knob on parallel
I saw the eq curves for each flavor, and they're pretty great. Musical
Nice, great to know :)
Nice vídeo.
Would it be possible to make a video focused on voices?
I would like to buy this plugin to use in vocal mixing, but I still have my doubts.
@@KrisLuthier Do you have other channel strips? The good thing about this one is that it has a reverb and the compressor works pretty nice. For the EQ depends on the source .
@@AlexReidStudios I understand, in this case it would be better to keep it the way I do it.
Currently my vocal mix channel consists of Waves Tune, FabFilter Pro C-2 for compression and EQ-3 for equalization. After that I apply reverbs and some type of saturation if necessary.
@@KrisLuthier If you find that's good then keep it, but there's no harm testing other options
I personally dont reach fr channel strips often.. i just add the necessary effects and stuff..
But i think channel strips can be useful if you want to achieve a specific tone like the bx_console focusrite channel strip tone or something similar..
Also we need a rabbit channel strip cause if we can hav camel then why not a rabbit innit!!!
hahah yeah! They do have a Rabbit Tape tho
@@AlexReidStudios oh will check it out then..
too complicated, just put soundgoodizer on the master bus. all you need in life
But it's FL exclusive :(
@@AlexReidStudios you can run the free version of FL as a plugin in your daw of choice if i recall correctly, so just throw that on your master bus and have it run soundgoodizer for you. science!
@@AlexReidStudios wait don't you hav Fl??
I think I saw it in your task bar or something in a video...
I thought you owned Fl...
@@PandoraExplorer57 I have it! I was saying that for my non FL viewers
@@AlexReidStudios oh okay...
But gotta agree soundgoodizer is an ultimate solution
