Thank you for the guides, i REALLY WANT to get into the game but i don't really like the tab targeting in mmos either way, i want to give the game a try! :D
AAU is more p2w like AR or same .. How ? AAU: you can buy golds, honors, exps in goldsellers , you can use 3 accounts , so everyone have alts = alts in events , alts is everyhere . AR: u must use 1 acc per IP and PC . 40 LP for every 5 min . thats why u dont need alts , so no alts in events , only active ppl . U can buy credits (official website) credits its 50% cheaper like official server . 4.0 patch > 6.0 ;-)
There is a p2w aspect to it, but nothing locked behind a pay wall. I pay nothing and own several large properties. With the 4.5 patch, p2w is less effective and free players are on a more level playing field. Not perfect, but definitely not a pay 2 win hell.
Honestly I haven't spent a single dollar on this private server in the 3 years I've been on it. I've never had an issue with gearing/staying relevant/having fun. It's MUCH better in terms of P2W than games like BDO where you basically have no choice but to pay in order to have any kind of content. Honestly, the people who made this server did such a good job I'm considering spending money just to say thank you. (I also own a LOT of land with well decorated houses and ships(.
To answer both of your comments: the way Archeage is set up, yes, P2W is a huge part of the in-game economy. And for AAU being horrible, to be fair, I spent long enough to record a single video and the game was definitely not appealing to me being someone who is more focused on land, housing, and cosmetics. I rely heavily on the people swiping to provide me with the costumes I enjoy so much. Seeing how the costumes were done was an immediate turn off for me. Other players, however, have been coming to Rage and back to Live (the official non-AAU server) looking for a version of the game that didn't suck as bad as AAU. I have not come across anyone who played AAU and enjoyed it over Rage or Live. I am not doubting that some people DO like it, but they aren't coming to Rage to tell people how great they think it is.
Thanks for this guide! ❤️❤️❤️
Tip: Watch in 1.25x speed
thanks

LOL. Saying a game NEEDS a pay to win setup... is that why people hate AAU then?
LOL; AAU is "horrible".... no It isn't great - but in no way "horrible". But I guess some people get pissy real easily.
