Thanks for the shout out bro. Come on home to the family. All that great apparel is waiting on you lol. Sport mode the pipes sound decent and in that mode. The bike is going to give you all you want. Love mine, very light and nimble. Radio is straight garbage tho 😂
The only thing i would like you to do is "SAY IT!!! SAY IT!!!!" tell us what the difference is!! Lol great video i feel the same way you do, the new Harleys are legit!! Glad you found the leak, wish i would have thought of that my vaquero leaked out of the AIR filter as well, but it only did when i was parked, it would drop onto the ground, i did the same thing you, cleaned the air filter it, and took about 1/4 of a quart out of my oil and it stopped the leak so i Guess i just over filled it when i changed the oil, not a problem since!! Good luck brother love the videos!!
@@TD205 So the 2024 is better the the previos, but why, tell me what is better. Power, handling, better suspension, cornering, and if these are better why?
@TD205 I despise the windshield as well. Even with a full face. Pegs should be standard on every touring bike. But the tech and power is really good. I wished they painted the inner fairing though
I'd be interested to know a little more about the particular Road Glide that you did your test ride on. Not that it really matters as far as an evaluation goes, but the 2024 Road Glide in the "Sharkskin Blue" color is only available in the black trim package. The one that you rode was in the chrome trim. So somewhere the dealer (?) did a swap of some sort. Just curious.
I don't believe they only made "Sharkskin Blue" in black trim. I could be wrong. I can only assume that, like most newer Harley-Davidson bikes, there's a base model(chrome trim) and there's a special model(black trim). I must have been on a base model🤷🏿. Thanks for watching!!!👍🏿💯
The Road Glide is sweet and so is the Challenger. You seemed more excited about this test ride over the Challenger. Good luck on which ever bike you get in the future. Team Indian!! Oh glad the the Vaq is cured, I dont have mine anymore but it was a good bike. I'm rolling on a Victory Cross country now and love it
Definitely good to hear you figured out the leak. But oh maaaan, I saw your look… contemplating… “wheels were Turning” “Should I get that bike?” Hahahahaha great video my brother
Mannn...That '24 RG looks pretty sweet. I have to admit, I've been HD curious, need to take a test drive. I saw that last long look on the way out the dealership though. Hard to go back to your regular ride after riding something like that I'm sure. BTW - glad you got the leak sorted, and I see you repping that hornet gear.
It is Trey✊🏿💯!! I was very impressed with the handling and it's lightweight. Thought I would dislike the apes, but they even felt good. HD did their thing with this one. Thanks for watching bro!!✌🏿✌🏿
That’s great about solving the oil overflow. If you don’t hear any clacking on a cold start after having drained some of your oil you should be good. The 24’ Road Glide is a nice bike but you’d take a RG over a Challenger??? Very interesting. If I were you I’d at least get an Ivan tune for the Kawasaki over buying a whole new bike. I’ve seen too many guys smiling ear to ear after an Ivan tune and slip on exhaust. Great video!
Yes, I'm thinking it's fixed👍🏿. I haven't heard any clacking or clugging on cold starts😁. HC that new RG is legit and the Challenger is legit as well. The RG seem like it had a little more to offer. But hey, I'm testing the waters and weighing all options. I would rather get the Chris Moore Mafia tune than Ivan👌🏿. I already have a Power Commander 5 and that helps the bike scat💨💨 and run stronger. Bro, test ride that new RG when you have an opportunity. Stay safe!!💯
Interesting review from a non HD guy. I am an HD guy and I haven’t ridden the 24s because I’m still enjoying my 2020. I heard you talk about the 23 you rode but you didn’t seem impressed, maybe I will see if you did a video on that, my 2020 114 is a beast to me.
I was really impressed with the new model👍🏿. I actually test rode a 2022 RG. That bike was heavier, and the 114 was a beast, but compared to the 117. I felt the difference. There would be no need to modify that 117 motor to me. Checkout the older video of the 2022 I rode. Thanks for watching!!
I’ve been telling myself for awhile now to go to Harley and test ride, but my time always fill with something else, glad you got your leak solved, nothing wrong with having two bikes, I think my wife would flip if I came home with a third 😮
Good looking bike. HD did a great job with the new look, features and power. And the prices aren't outrageous for a Harley. If you're not in a rush, wait to see what Indian has planned for the Chieftain. I would imagine they're gonna make some changes. If they don't they're missing the boat. Time for a new look Chieftain.
Yes they did fairly well. The test ride was awesome!! What I like most about the Challenger is the adjustable windshield and the engine smoothness. If I bought the Harley I would have to buy a new windshield for sure. Thanks for watching!!!
Man HD did a great job in 2024... Perhaps its time you pulled the trigger and got the HD. A stocked seat is always good until you take a long ride lol.
If it wasn't for the $$. New always is nice. If you have your leak fixed & you are waiting to wear out the 1700 then you are in for a long wait. Life is short if you can work out the $$ just as well go for it. If not you are on a great bike now.
Good to hear the oil leak is squared away. You didn't ask my opinion, but here it is anyways. The Harley will have better trade in and resale value than the Challenger. I owned a 2020 Challenger and took a hard hit when I sold it to buy my Street Glide. Just my 2 cents.
Bro, you know how big on an Indian fan.. so I'll say, that the biggest difference between the two bikes will be aftermarket/customization. The Harley will be in a sea unless you do something drastically different with it, and you will have plenty of options for that. But the Challenger will ALWAYS standout, but limited in aftermarket parts. Also, Harkey has way more dealerships to get your bike worked on(they do need it)
If you think that's impressive just imagine it with a bolt in cam from Wood Performance.. Harleys cost more sure but most Harley haters drive expensive imports such as a BMW or Mercedes which are over priced also and expensive to maintain.
4k for a stage 1 cam from HD. Puts the 117" at 119 hp and 131 lb ft of torque. Thats 30k for a new Road Glide, with significantly more power and upgraded styling for the same price as a stock 2023 road glide special. That's the move 😮
To be honest, it's not the power for me. It's the reliability. You can only go so fast on public streets anyway. I'll ride a stock bike to the wheels fall off, as long as it's reliability and durability. The HP numbers doesn't mean anything to me for real. Thanks for watching!!👍🏿💯
The 2024 is definitely a game changer, good luck on your decision. Should be an easy choice 😂HD all day
Yeah Tip, I'm leaning that way for sure now😆👍🏿. Thanks for watching!!💯

😅😅 You're welcome bro!! The jury is still out😆. I wouldn't listen to the radio anyway. Thanks for watching!!
OOOOO looks like someone is about to get a Harleeyyyyyy!!!! 😃👀
😆😆👀!! I don't know. It's still a great debate😄. You just can't beat our Kawi's when it comes to reliability👍🏿.
I’m kinda staying away from the test ride. lol scared they might make me take it home. Haha just kidding i need to go ride one
Hmmmm, I think you’re scared you’ll want to take it home. 😆 I’m sure that’s how I’d be.
@@RestlessMule ha! You read between them lines. Your probably correct lol

Bro just the shot of the bike on the side of the road! Lol that's something I'd do too! Lol...that's a great bike out of the box imo
😅😅 It is bro👌🏿!! With a few minor accessories. Taller windshield and highway pegs😁👍🏿. Thanks for watching!!✌🏿💯

That’s a sweet ride. I have one just like it but sharkskin over black. Buy the bike!!
It is a sweet ride. Thanks for watching👍🏿!! I still debating😁
TD I was thinking of changing to a road glide from my Vaquero. Is there a significant difference TD?
There is man. Have to ride the Road Glide and the Challenger. Pick your difference. I found pros and cons with them both. Thank you for watching!!!
