I traveled down to Gate City, Virginia to work with Mac in late July. So you know we had to try out one of Mr. McClung's famous jump workouts. This was 1 of 2 workouts we did. It was no joke, and I can see why Mac is the player he is today. The WORK was REAL. No Fluff! Just straight hard work day in and day out.
Check out The Mac McClung Jump Program for more drills like this:

People do not understand how hard Mac is going…pushing himself to exhaustion on every rep. Greatness

Mac is by far one of my favorite players to watch in the game today. He's got the million dollar dream with no minimum wage work ethic. He exemplifies what hard work is all about. Wishing him a great career!

He still has a natural gift though, there are people who can jump train everyday but still never get up like he can. But that's how you become a great leaper, you have a natural talent but then you work your butt off to develop it. I remember Charles Barkley would jump up and down for hours over a fence in his backyard building leg strength, another elite leaper Clyde Drexler would do one legged hops up and down the street, even if he went to the minute mart he'd do those hops all the way to the store. Paid of for them with great NBA careers.

Most NBA guys have natural gifts and talents. But what separates them is the WORK they put in !

This seems like more of an agility, footwork and cardio workout. I bet mac got his bounce from jumping a lot when hooping and lifting heavy to get strong from a young age
