Along with your obviously breathtaking musicianship what amazes me is that you got such a beautiful, melodic, Steve Vai-esque solo sound out of a Tele. Kudos! This is a killer!
Now that's the tone I've been searching forever. Now educate me on something do you have to buy a certain type of Telly for it to bite or is it all coming from the amp? I know the easy way to get more tone is probably by a pedal but I really don't want to buy pedals just to get that bite would you suggest?
I’m using an overdrive pedal here (DOD OD250) with a Marshall style amp. The guitar is a Fender 52 reissue. Using the pedal sparingly… just to push the amp a bit.
I haven't tried that one. Sounds cool. The amp I'm using for this video is a Plexi clone a friend built me. Sounds great. He's built a bunch of amps for me.... www.greenhandlemusic.com. I'm gonna try to do a video with him talking about the different amps he's built. I think that would be a fun video. Thanks for the comment, Mattias! Have a great weekend.
@@ToddMihan I've been keeping an eye on them for a while. I know in the US Marshalls tend to be more expensive than in Europe, but over here you can find a used one as low as 650 euro, which is substantially like a boutique overdrive pedal... Greenhandle looks nice! You have a great weekend too!
Man, I've seen some of your videos, you have such a killer tone and taste to play! What do you think of a Squier Classic Vibe, do you know if it makes justice to a telecaster like yours? Thank you! Definitely Suscribed!
I know this is all about the guitar, but your bass track on this one is killer!
Thanks Ron! I love playing bass on these jams. It’s definitely one of my favorite parts of making the track. Thanks for the comment my friend:)
beautiful tele!
Alexander Ghezzo thanks!
Just more proof that you can play ANYTHING! Keep that momentum bro T! You are on a ROLL! Rockn Roll, that is!
Haha, I appreciate that! Thanks, Archie!
Indeed a killer tone! Love it! And your bass and drum performances and tones are awesome too! Got goosebumps at 2:45 ! Really cool!
Thank you 🙏
Wow... that's some absolutely fantastic playing. Perfect timing and even more perfect groove!
Thank you!
Just came across this video and became an instant fan and subscriber. You are one of the greatest players I've ever heard.
Thank you!
Outstanding playing. This is proof you don't need a LP or humbuckers to sound like that. Meaty and really smooth playing.
Thanks man. I dig a Tele with some overdrive. Rarely play my LP. Thanks for checking it out!
That sounds awesome!! Nothing better than an overdriven tele and your chops!
Thanks, Marshall!
Great track, love the Tele x
Thank you
Man, what a tone!!! I want such a tone and I can not yet find it :-)
Oh my God 🙏🙏🙏🙏
Flawless,Superb, Brilliant and uh uh....uhhhh... I am out of words😅😅

@@ToddMihan awesome video and awesome playing. Are those just regular stock pickups? They sound amazing
@@mikestandifer1549 thanks! Yes...these are the stock pickups.
Great stuff!!! Loved the playing and the tone.
Wicked tone… and playing!!!! The Tele is so versatile! I play mine more than my Les Paul or Strat
Thank you! Love the Tele!
Awesome As Always Sir
Thank you!
Very nice, that Tele sounds incredible!
Thank you!
Great playing.
Thanks!

Damn, that sounds great!

Best sound
Nice feel, as always! By the way, did you ever try the Marshall SV20 combo? The "plexi in a box" so to speak...

Amazing sound and playing mate ! I have the same kind of gear but that dod is interesting. Btw The plexi is on the treble or normal channel ?
Thank you! I like this DOD pedal. Had it hanging around a while and never really used it. Plugged into channel 1 with jumper cable.
