John doesnt get serious u til the match is tied, his most dominating matches are usually the last armfight, thats when he just takes control on opponents hand and game over, he loses fights against speedy guyz when hes not 100% focused on takin away their speed by instantly taking the hand and wrist
Everyone complains about Devon slipping, but the only way John won was slipping with Taras! No slip, no win. What a time John used to have with Barboza too...
Slipping is not for cowards, you slip when you know the enemy is superior without straps, and John knew better than us how Taras was insanely dangerous on his toproll. Going at the straps pretty much guaranteed John to easily win games, everyone was fighting on their strongest
John is a genius. He knows what is the strongest and weakest strength of his opponent. Attack your opponent's weakest strength and your win is guaranted.
