Canadians seem to really enjoy visiting Pakistan. In recent times, Food Ranger, Rosie, you guys and other vloggers have visited Pakistan and enjoyed their experience.
Pakistan is best country to spend vacations. loving people, natural beauty, delicious Foods & peace. I've visited Pakistan in 2019 so cheap so nice country 🇵🇰
oh wow steve looks awesome in that local outfit! Cant wait to see you walking around local markets etc wearing that 💪 What about Ivana? Any special outfits for women too?
Nobody is noticing you in shalwaar qameez is because they think you are a local pathan. The shop keeper mentioned you would look like Imran Khan (Pakistani pm) in Shalwaar Kameez.
"Sorry, we don't have Wifi, talk to each other!", a very good message actually. Why hang out with family and friends in such place but everyone looking at their phones?
A pakistani sitting here in brampton canada watching a canadian in lahore, great bud. Next time you want a shalwar kameez, go to well renowned brand like J. , teejays and dozens other, for ladies Maria b, alkaram, sana safinaz, khaadi and many more. Just google. Actually, the difference is about fabric, stitching quality, and designs and colors.
You have sharp features and light skin like the people from Western Pakistan, the Pashtuns, so if you wear shalwar kameez people might be mistaking you for a local.
I was doubtful the blue colour suits you, but Oh Wow! That man really knows his trade, you look awesome in the blue outfit Steve 👍 Can't wait to see Ivana in Pakistani outfit 😍
10:16 I think they're calling the vest a waistcoat. Since Pakistan was a British colony (like Malaysia), we use British terms. Vest is an American term. Biscuits:cookies, bonnet:hood, boot:trunk, spanner:wrench, petrol:gas, football:soccer, lorry:truck, and so on... :)
@@AlexSDU That's interesting. Didn't know that. A lot of Malay words were adapted from Sanskrit too. Also, Portuguese, English and a bit of Dutch, since they colonised us a long time ago
Pakistani clothing is very ancient. All the way to Kushan empire... they ruled all the way to Central Asia, so culture definitely overlapped somewhere. I saw the video of Xian lamb noodles and was so surprised that if you take out noodles it is quintessential Pakistani Karahi eaten with Naan of course.
yeah it just reminded me of the movie ip man but just a slight difference is that martial arts dress is a little bit longer like longer than the knee length
@@Rabia_Burak You are right. Ip Man's changshan (literally long shirt) reaches the ankle. There exists knee-length changshan too. It is not strictly a 'martial arts dress', everybody used to wear them. Including my great grandfather :)
Hi Steve & Ivana...can’t wait you guys make local friends which can introduce you to hidden gem of Pakistan...Take care guys & Stay safe!! Greetings From Tanah Melayu!!
LOL! That's what we just did today!! We met 3 local students who have been helping us a lot. We will meet them again tomorrow for a few museums. Just awesome
All the video I keep watching ivana's reactions to different things. She's like a little 8 year old girl who starts dancing when seeing lots and lots of chocolate haha :D she's so cool. Btw you look awesome in your mustaches
In Cities people dont stare as much and also they may think you are a Pakistani with fair skin, especially in north there are many Pakistanis with fair skin, blue/green eyes and even blonde hairs and u r in Shalwar Kamiz as they usually wear so u dont stand out much except with camera. Pakistan is a diverse country in every aspect, culture, language, traditions, landscape, ethnicity. Fun fact most people in Pakistan settled here from elsewhere at different times and got mixed up over centuries some even from same place but have different features as they migrated at different centuries maybe hundreds of year apart so some mixed more than others. Not many tourists come to Pakistan so get ready for stares and selfies in future when they realize you are a tourist and hospitality ofcourse. P.S: that youtube guy was weird talking abt electric taxi and India in Pakistan lol
I think he try to get their opinion about India. What do you think about India - general question. About air taxi in India - maybe try to gather if they're reading latest news about India.
Hear ye...make way for our canadian royalty, HRH 🤴 Price Steve Rook Kahn de Toronto (? 🤔😂?✌️ ). Besides, what could be better than having a royalty dish along the way, the poutine 😁! Btw, that tandoori chai prep looks truly something..as if it came out from some smelting pot 😁✌️.
