- In this video I show a Lego Technic gearbox for pneumatic system that toggles between two group of switches. It consists of four identical modules and a shifter. Four Lego Technic Power Functions Servo Motors toggle the Pneumatic switches. One M-Motor shifts between the two groups.

I forgot mensionning hat he has built a pneumatic multiplexor that only uses 2 motors for as many pneumatic functions as you want.

What kind of machine do you build which needs so many pneumatic functions?

Indeed, beer is an important ingredient (while constructing;)) I think, the machine will be some more conventional and as near as possible in form and scale to the original.

Me too - it's still a long way to go. I nearly finished the chassis but have to re-engineer the main gearbox as the gears jumping when under high load. And then the bodywork is waiting 😱
4 servos still very expensive. 120 dollars for a thing like this... too expensive. make it so you can control 3 switches with one servo and with transmission
yes i know it's still expensive. But I like to control 4 valves at once. Maybe I create a gearbox for pneumatic with less servos sometime later. Thx for that suggestion.

+Brandon Blakley What do you mean? The shift between the to groups of valves is done by a small linear actuator.

I don't think so. This MOC is especially constructed as a gearbox for pneumatics. And the MOC, for which this gearbox is intended, will heavily use pneumatics with no chance to use linear actuators. But thanx for your suggestion.

+Brandon Blakley Sadly not. You need one servo for each pair of pneumatic valves plus one M motor to shift between both of them.
DOES anyone have instructions for a single cylinder engine using the ones on the left

what is it for
It's for remote controlling eight pneumatic cylinders with only four servos. So you save four other servos.
