This man is a drum genius 👏
Total monster drummer
I discovered him recently and knew immediately he is one of the BEST EVER!
He has a book on linear funk drumming. I learned like maybe a page out of it, but holy shit, that knowledge was so dense. Completely changed how I played drums
I had to transcribe the cool swing Mike plays at 0:29 and put it in my workbook. It's only 4 bars, but it's so much fun to play!
Those 3's and 4's just taught me something!
Superb lesson from the master.
Wow! What great tone from the master!
Big Mike.
Nice Mike! Great chops and feel. Thanks for the lesson. MD
great..thanx Mike!!
Yes sir!
Total class
Great ride cymbal there too...but hey... Mike could probably make a garbage can lid sound like heaven.
that single-handed roll looks so easy when he play it...
Makes it look like a simple walk in the park. Which it most certainly is not...
