    Thank you Marc! I was in free play this weekend and turned it to 800 bucks. I was low rolling and I put 20 in at a time betting 50 cents on Dragon Link. Yes. I know you guys don’t suggest Dragon Link 🤣. When I get to between 8-10 dollars, I switch machines or cash out if I double and start with a fresh 20. Well. I found two machines that were paying out very frequently and hit the major in 50 cents and walked out with 800 in my gamble box. This doesn’t happen often but it gave me more amo for future visits. My bank roll is very small each trip. Thanks to your videos. I realized how often I do win by cashing out frequently.

    I'm older and was talking with a player that was really young. I mentioned to him that I was glad I didn't start gambling until I was older. He tilted his head down sadly and almost started crying. He said he wish he didn't ever start. I told him he should stop for the day and do something different as a hobby for a few months, something purposeful. The "girlfriend" that was with him was there just for the money. I hope he gets out of that.

      Yep. I got told not to start buy a much older friend who was into gambling. Now im 16 years in. Oops! Keeping trying new things for joy is where its at. Keeping closer with family, community and friends, being generous and having goals...pretty much all the things I'm not doing enough of will work to have some kind of self control. Mindfulness and recognising patterns that keep ya blowing it all. I went for a bike ride and ended up at the damn machines. I didnt plan it at all. Was just going passed. ...until I stopped and went inside.

    You made a comment that is a KEY point. "Push the button at the right time." It does NOT change the machine's timing but it changes YOUR timing. Whether it be just taking another breath before hitting it or quick stopping (if available) it only changes YOUR timing. Although quick stopping does cost more and reduces your play time it does change YOUR timing. Gotta do something to play with the RNG.

    That advice on resisting to up the bet is a good one. I live near a local, thought I had $30 in freeplay but had none. Decided to put $20 in a Panda Magic to play anyway. Built that $20 to $160 on small bets of $0.50 and sometimes $1.00......then lost about 80% of the winnings going for more on $1.50 bets and not backing off that bet.

  • @m2lookmtn358
    @m2lookmtn358 5 месяцев назад +2

    When you're on free play and you get a win hit the cash out button. You'll get the cash you just won and the free play stays on the machine. Keep doing that, then after all the free Play is gone you can make a decision as to whether or not you want to put your averted cash back in the machine. Marc, you won at least 50 more cash dollars that you fed back through the machine. At one point and about 47 spins(still in freeplay) you converted $94 freeplay into just over $100 real dollars.
    My point is that you can decide to keep playing,but understand that you "switched" to playing off your winnings. People need to understand this and I'm not sure they do. I never ever hear it mentioned on any channel.

    • @m2lookmtn358
      @m2lookmtn358 5 месяцев назад

      No it wasn't about freeplay but it was AT LEAST an opportunity to talk about a topic that never gets mentioned.
      The first part of your reply was basically a recitation of what I was saying and something that doesn't get talked about. Or at least I never see it. I'm betting that there's a lot of people that don't know it works that way. If there's people who believe sound affects the play, there's people who don't know how this works.

    Great stuff Marc. Was that King of coin in that bank of $1, max $10? Be careful of that max button people. Playing these class 2 machines of late I'm taking all wins and banking them, calling it quits at $20. $100 in out at $20 I may have banked $40 to $120 in wins or more over the course of play, and if I hit a good red spin, well. I came home $200 down this weekend. Took a break and had a burger at Cowboy Grill. Evaluating if I should go home, up $350...Played some class 3 machines, went to Frankenstein, was all taken. Gambling is gambling. Thanks for all the GSGS information and tips, good stuff.👍

      I wish there were casinos nearby that are similar to the casinos near you. I live in Las Vegas NV and have played in the local casinos with no real experience to say I can build up on low budget. Maybe I’m playing wrong but will keep watching and learning.

    I generally use a 25% "window". I walk when I'm either 25% up or down. If I'm up, I figure that's a minor miracle in itself. If I'm down 25%, I need that same miracle just to get back to even, so I don't dig any deeper.
    It's what happens after I walk that's key, though. I force myself to walk around, do some people watching, etc. I didn't play craps but I love to watch others playing.
    Then I think about whether I feel like staring at another machine.

    Sometimes it’s better to completely stop, at least at places where you have no luck.
    In the past 6 months, I’ve played 9 sessions/days at CET Vegas and lost all 9 sessions and was never ahead in any session betting $5-$100 without a single hand pay. Worst personal losing streak to date.... so feel a lil sore loser..
    I had 2 other sessions at non-CET / non-Vegas casinos and won a hand pay jackpot within the 1st hour at both casinos betting $10.
    Staying at Caesars palace fully comped next week but I will only play slots on Free Play and will just play high limit craps, blackjack, and baccarat.

      @mikepark1219 5 месяцев назад

      @@kevinb4079 perhaps you’re right but 9 four hour sessions at CET with bigger bets didn’t result in a single hand pay while 2 one hour sessions at non-CET casinos with lower bets resulted in 2 hand pays. Might just be bad timing but the my stats (36 hrs/0 handpay vs 2 hrs/2 hand pays) are just hard to ignore.

    The machines that I play on have a MAX bet of $2.00, Max win on a bonus or spin is $1000.00. Would you, or someone, explain the slot machine classes? I hear that word (class 2) etc.. quite often.
    Just curious about the differences. Thanks for your content. Love your channel. New Subscriber, here.

    • @GambleSmart
      @GambleSmart  5 месяцев назад +1

      There are really only 2 classes to know about. Class 2 is classified as a gambling device that doesn’t contain an RNG to determine the results. Instead, it’s based on the game of Bingo or the Virtual Lottery System. Class 3 (which is the most common), means you are playing against the machine’s RNG.

  • @bonwatcher
    @bonwatcher 5 месяцев назад

    I play differently depending on the machine and $ level. If I'm playing a high volatile penny machine @$2 a spin I will put in $100 and hope for a bonus round or quit. If I play $1 Blazing Sevens 3-coin, I will go up to $150 because if you try to win on too few pulls you're likely not going to win very often. The other side is you can't put in too much otherwise even a bonus round won't cover your $$ put into the machine.

    That's an excellent question you have put in your video title Marc. Gambling by the very nature of it has always been meant for short term wins/sessions. In the case of slot machines, it actually indicates to the player if they won some money like when it plays very cinematic music, or the free games etc. That's the time I think that players should cash out. 🙂👍

    When you play a machine and it’s giving you kick back and your winning you stay, when it stops hitting or giving you anything, you get up and walk away. No sense in upping a bet if you are hitting on the one you started with. Simple as that.

Let me explain how slot machines work the sucker walks in the casino. The sucker sits down at the slot machine, the sucker puts the money in the slot machine. The sucker loses the money. The sucker walks out of the casino. Also one more thing if you could win, the casinos could not be open.

      Progressive betting seems the best way that works for me as well.
      Bet 1 unit until lose 25x, then bet 2 unit until lose 20x bet, then bet 4 unit until lose 40x bet. Anytime I'm up during this progression, I take 1 backup spin then move on. End result is to Lose 225 units or hit a bonus and win or even. Sometimes I chase with the 8 units bet and risk 450-500 units.
      My bankroll is usually 4000 units. This is the only way that I’ve ever come out ahead on slots in the past year.
      I never came out ahead making the same bets with 100 units on a machine in the past year. There were times when I got up to ~110-120 units, but I don’t walk away until I'm up to ~150 units.
      Recently, I've tried 11 classic 3 reel machines at $5 bet with $250 per machine and lost $250 on the 1st 10 machines and won $100 on the 11th machine at Chinook Winds in Oregon. Thereafter, I tried the more volatile machines and made back ~$500 with the progressive betting.
