    I know this is an old review but I just have to chip in with the others about this reviewer. I can't believe I watched this heavily biased review until the end. You claim that the V-Strom has significantly better build quality because you've been riding the V-Strom for a year, whereas the cfmoto is brand new and only time will tell how it holds up. While it may be true, you made no effort to demonstrate the build quality. For example, how is the cfmoto windshield worse when you yourself don't prove it?
    It feels like you've made assumptions based on feedback from other bike testers and online reviews. Nice way to rake in the views lol

    A fairer comparison would be the base VStrom against the CFMoto 650MT. Both have alloy wheels, similar setup and are closer in price. The 650XT is the top of the range setup for more dirt riding. This review is a little skewed towards the up spec Vstrom. I owned the 2019 650XT and would have saved coin if the CFMoto 650MT was available. The suspension is awful, seat leaves a lot to be desired and is awful in more challenging terrain. Great to ride on the sealed road, has great fuel economy, handles well and is good for long distance motoring. Did anything fall off the bike - yes a front disk brake calliper bolt fell off, most bolts required retightening using loctite before 5,000K on Australian outback sealed roads.

      @MrPatosexyhot 4 года назад

      Not at all. Actually CFMOTO NK/MT 650, even 400NK, use the mythic Kawasaki ER6N/4N engine!
      So, Made in China is not synonym of bad quality anymore ;) the unique difference about ER6N is an upgrade to Euro 4. Have you seen the new CFMOTO 700CL-X already?
      So many chinese companies are making big deals with European and American companies. For example Harley Davidson with Benelli (QianJiang), KTM with CFMOTO, MV Agusta with FKMotors, Loncin is using the Honda CB500F engine in some of their motos (Voge), and the new Suzuki 300cc is Chinese.
      Not just that, Indian market is growing up fastly, Royal Enfield, BMW with TVS, Bajaj is own about 49% of KTM (plus KTM is own of Husqvarna), and so on. TVS has just buy a big English companie of premium motos: Norton Motorcycles.
      CFMOTO Is next to launch its first Chinese moto 1000cc in collaboration with KTM, using LC8 engine, and a new MT800 using KTM's 790 engine.
      In what I gotta gree is that the MT and NK have not 71hp, just 61-65hp, I don't know why CFMOTO has been selling their motos with false information, but since last year they fix it.
      But well, I have to admit that old school Japanese has not competence about their history, but the market today is predator, so wachout (?)
      Edit: CFMOTO has just started the production of 1279cc, in base of duke 1290r engine. The model is called CF1260J and their producing it for Chinese police. So the CFMOTO NK V2.0 sounds closer!
