I know this is an old review but I just have to chip in with the others about this reviewer. I can't believe I watched this heavily biased review until the end. You claim that the V-Strom has significantly better build quality because you've been riding the V-Strom for a year, whereas the cfmoto is brand new and only time will tell how it holds up. While it may be true, you made no effort to demonstrate the build quality. For example, how is the cfmoto windshield worse when you yourself don't prove it? It feels like you've made assumptions based on feedback from other bike testers and online reviews. Nice way to rake in the views lol
@Supersonic Diesel not really, i have sense, i don't ride much and the dl is 3000euro more without boxes, crash bars. I destroyed a honda nc750 in drag race.I do have an exhaust with catalytic converter removed.

A fairer comparison would be the base VStrom against the CFMoto 650MT. Both have alloy wheels, similar setup and are closer in price. The 650XT is the top of the range setup for more dirt riding. This review is a little skewed towards the up spec Vstrom. I owned the 2019 650XT and would have saved coin if the CFMoto 650MT was available. The suspension is awful, seat leaves a lot to be desired and is awful in more challenging terrain. Great to ride on the sealed road, has great fuel economy, handles well and is good for long distance motoring. Did anything fall off the bike - yes a front disk brake calliper bolt fell off, most bolts required retightening using loctite before 5,000K on Australian outback sealed roads.
