The way your buddy swings his detector sounds very much like a lot of people I've seen doing precisely the same thing. Congratulations on the silver merc it's a cool find. The same applies to your bullets and the percussion cap, a real link to the civil war. A shame that you had trouble editing your video because it was so long. Trouble is, if you don't film your hunts, it could be regrettable and you'll miss something really suited to recording. GL & HH :D
@kayleealways Yes I know, I enjoy documenting my finds with video, but like the video I just uploaded took me hours to make , the hunt was 2 days ago and I was up all that night editing the video, it ended up too long so I had to do it over. Really I just need to figure out how to make them shorter I guess. Thanks for the comment .
@fluoridekid Oh yea, I plan on having it with me on my hunts just in case. Really I believe I need a different camera, Flipshare just takes way too long to edit. I may try to cut off the HD maybe that would make it faster. Thanks for the comment!
I know right. I missed my merc by 3 years. A 1919. Heres the deal though,it the thrill of the hunt not the find. Hope you change your mind on filming your hunts and good finds. It lets people go with you on your adventure. I find videos with just finds rather boring. HH and love the merc find.
